  1. That roughing the kicker call was incredibly embarrassing. All kickers should be instructed to act, especially if it's that easy to draw a penalty. Maybe there should be a diving penalty because that was just stupid.
  2. It's a close race: Numbers of LA-related threads: 1,245 Number of Jim Leonhard threads: 1,298 No, but seriously, it's easy to say that after watching him succeed with a bunch of pro bowlers around him.
  3. If you only bothered to read the rest of the thread.
  4. Good thing we didn't draft Sweed.. Now I think he's suffering from the infamous embarrassment injury.
  5. Yeah, Gandy looked like his old self today.
  6. This game isn't nearly as exciting as the ARI/PHILLY game but if Baltimore gets a touchdown here, maybe the 2nd half will be good.
  7. SKOOBY strikes again. Such a charming guy, isn't he?
  8. Look out, it's our resident Channel 2 expert. Love when people start with "uhhh" instead of just stating their point without sounding like Butthead.
  9. Looks like the game could be out of reach with the way Baltimore's offense is playing. I know this isn't the case but it just seems like every time Flacco drops back to pass, he has about 2 receivers at most out there. In some cases, it feels like Derrick Mason is the only one running routes..
  10. Leinart seems to be a bit too Hollywood for his own good. I remember a Bill Parcells quote, shortly after he left Dallas, he was asked about Romo's potential and he said something to the effect of, "If he stays away from the Hollywood crap, he'll be good" and then a week later it was revealed Romo was dating Jessica Simpson.
  11. Big Ben looks to be in a lot of pain. Everybody's dream BILLS BACK-UP QB may get some snaps here.
  12. Seems like none of the playmakers acknowledge him though when he makes a play like that. He must not attend those Ray Lewis organized card games in the locker room.
  13. Yep, the sound keeps screwing up. For a minute I thought my Skooby-sized TV was dying on me. Had to turn it off and watch my smaller TV just to make sure and there's no problem with the sound on this one. Must be an HD thing.
  14. Steve Tasker made the call.
  15. Kurt Warner in the hall of fame is a lock, regardless of the outcome of the Super Bowl. As someone mentioned, it'll be interesting to see if he returns to Arizona next year. To me, at his age he seems to have lost some mobility (not that ever had much). He still has the accuracy and the arm but time isn't on his side and I can't see him wanting to go to another team, and having to learn a new system. He's really got it good in Arizona with his group of wide receivers. Leinart hasn't gotten the job done when called upon, so there has to be some doubt whether he's the right man for the job. But I'm not sure if he's been given a fair amount of time to prove himself yet (too lazy to look up the stats)..
  16. I guess people on this board would grow to hate Tim Tebow if he was ever on this team. Trent is also a "jesus boy" but doesn't mention it as much as Warner does. To be honest, while some find it annoying, it doesn't really bug me and I'm not some hugely religious person. It is what it is.
  17. No, just like in Dallas, he'd spread the T.O. cancer and they'd fail to make the playoffs. And nobody knows how healthy Brady will be come opening day of next season. Keep the ridiculous "What if".. fantasy threads coming.
  18. Skooby part II minus a ridiculous avatar. Should I puke now or save it for later?
  19. Why would you even say things like that? I shouldn't even ask...
  20. Don't kid yourselves. Ralph is 90. He can't predict the next time he's going to take a dump let alone foresee a bunch of name coaches being fired, just so he could hire one of them next year. That is about the most ridiculous thing I've read in a while. To the original poster, ask yourself this, how would Ralph have any inside knowledge about Denver firing Shanahan? Or Tampa firing Gruden when it occurred many weeks after Ralph decided to keep Dick. This just seems like another desperate attempt to credit Ralph when the reality is, Dick had a contract and Ralph wasn't about to eat it. Continuity is the word of the year, get used to it.
  21. Oh don't be fooled, he probably is a Chargers fan. Or worse, a Raiders fan. He's obviously doing this for attention. For all of his bragging about sunny LA, he seemingly has nothing to do except talk about moving the Bills to LA, something that's unlikely to happen.
  22. OH GOD ANOTHER LA THREAD. This is, by far, the worst of the bunch.
  23. Seems a bit overrated to me. Not worth the ridiculous price tag of $17 million.
