  1. No but in hindsight it does make a difference sometimes. If the charges were dropped, they were probably dropped for a reason. For instance, the Marcus Vick McDonalds/Gun incident turned about to be a bunch of BS, it turned out he never had a gun; rather a cell phone. Although he's done enough to permantley damage his reputation; that was the final straw and really tarnished his image more than anything. All I'm saying is if you weren't there its hard to know exactly what happened so you have to go by what the courts say. None the less it does set off a Red Flag for NFL GMs, probably for good reason. Bottom line guilty or inncent its dumb to put yourself in situations where this stuff can happen to you--in the end its going to cost you your reputation and some serious $$$$$$$$$$$.
  2. Yep been over to Little SSI more than a few times, used to do a lot of kayaking when I lived on SSI and little SSI made a good place to stop and have a sandwich mid-day.
  3. It's pretty sweet on St. Patties Day too! mmmm....green beer!
  4. Yeah and the Jets and the Raiders (along with the Dolphins) are supposed to be the front runners for Culpepper. If Brees goes to NO and Culpepper goes to either NY or Oak that could really screw us come draft day.
  5. I'll 3rd that I've eaten there Bib. Lived on St. Simons Island for 5 years and went to Savannah all the time. St. Simons has a ton of good restaraunts also. Really miss that Southern cooking and fresh seafood!
  6. Been looking all over for videos of the following: Bunkley, Hawk, Maro Williams, Ngata, DaBrick, Jimmy Williams; can't find anything.
  7. Thanks for the compliment on my Mock, you are right Astro that his weight doesn't automatically mean he's a fat lazy turd (like Bennie Anderson), to me its just kind of a Red Flag that he might not be the hardest, most dedicated worker. That being said I could be completely wrong; like Rico said I don't want someone who Baloons up and can't keep their weight under control.
  8. I'm basing it off my personal experience of meeting him, and him being a complete DICK to many of my former coworkers on several different occasions; here was my story posted in another thread..... F*ck Bruce, when I was in high school I worked at place called Country Club Carwash. We had a deal where we washed all the Rams and Cardinals cars for free (even retired players and managment, Ozzie Smith & Charlie Army etc.). My job was a greeter, meaning I asked what type of wash they wanted and recorded in a computer. We weren't supposed to bother athletes but were certainly allowed to welcome them to the carwash and say hello. One Monday after Bruce had a really good game he came in to get his car wash, all I said to him was "good game yesterday", his response "Don't talk to me about the game". I was a seventeen year old kid at the time and a huge fan of the NFL, what an ass! And he never tipped anyone, ever. Tory Holt, Ozzie Smith, and Trent Green are some of the nicest and most aproachable athletes I have ever encountered but the same can not be said about Bruce. He's a total Choad. Anyway that has nothing to do with his football ability and IMO he is a much better option than Givens or Bryant if he can be had at a decent price. Just don't expect to fall in love with his antics or his attitude. Classy my ass!
  9. Free agent options back to Givens and Bryant. That sucks but Bruce is a dick anyway.
  10. Actually this was just my draft and didn't address free agency, I still had hopes of signing the following..Mawae, Runyan, and Bernard. While we have the money now, landing all three would be hard but that would be pretty sweet. Both lines would then look like this (cutting Bennie Anderson's Fat ass of course).... LT-Peters,Gandy LG-Joseph, Preston C-Mawae,Preston RG-Vili,Preston RT-Runyan,Whitworth LE-Kelsay DT-Bernard,Wroten DT-Bunkley,Anderson RE-Schobel
  11. Wroten was pulled over for speeding and was found with some marijuanna. I'm not making any excuse for it just being pot (we've all seen it too can be kind of destructive at times, ala Ricky Williams) but the kid does have first round talent and after watching tape of him I would love to have him in the second. Him and Bunkley fit the mold of DT this coaching staff are looking for and IMHO would make a great tandem for years to come.
  12. His name should be ieatfriednoodles w/pickle juice. What the FU*K kind of movie are you trying to make? Anyway, thanks for making me laugh for the past 5 minutes while I read this. Its called crack.....its great!!! And you need to lay off it.
  13. hot damn, I've got a thing for the latino ladies anyway but that chick is smokin hot!
  14. By the way Malta, I see you updated your own mock. I have pondered many a draft with Mangold falling to us in the 2nd, however I just don't think he'll be there anymore. He had an incredible senior bowl followed by a combine that had coaches and scouts calling him "the best center prospect in the last 15 years". If he's there in the second, I would take him in a heartbeat over Joseph.
  15. Well considering their losing both starting DTs my assumption is Ngata but their is also quite a buzz around here about Huff and Davis. There is a good chance that all could be gone by eleven but also a good chance one might fall and they could easily stay put and land whoever is left. However lets say they really target ONE of the three and feel he won't be their at 11 and decide to jump the gun and slide up to 8 and grap their target. Early on the big Buzz around here was Ngata, but after realizing he probably wouldn't be there at eleven there has been a lot of talk about Huff, who could also easily be gone at eleven.
  16. Buffalo trades #8 to St. Louis for #11 overall pick and #46. 1. Broderick Bunkley DT-FSU 2a. Davin Joseph- G OU 2b. Claude Wroten DT-LSU 3a. Jason Allen S-Tenn 3b. Andrew Whitworth T-LSU 4. Pat Watkins S-FSU 5. Charles Gordon CB-Kansas 6. Brad Smith QB/WR-Missouri 7. David Thomas TE-Texas If we could pull off a trade with a team like St. Louis and pick up a second rounder and still get Bunkley, I would do it in a heartbeat. What do you think?
  17. This is what I want to do too. The word in St. Louis is the Rams are looking at Huff and Davis with the #11 pick. Maybe would could work out a trade with them and pick up their 2nd round pick, that would be Best case scenario on Draft Day IMHO. Not sure how feasible it really is.
  18. And for good reason Rico....at the combine Spencer was grouped with the Tackles and he weighed the heaviest, Gean Jiles was the heaviest guard
  19. These guys are talking sh*t to Jerry Rice, like they could cover Rice. This is great. I can't wait until Goldberg starts killing them.
  20. anybody ever seen this show? Goldberg is one of the Pros, he's going to kill these choads..check it out, should be interesting.
  21. On NFL access coming up is highlight of this years DT class, very good watch...check it out. I'm kind of wanting Bunkley more and more. Coming up right after Gene Upshaw interview.
