  1. Last ten years: 95: Tony Boselli, Korey Stringer, Ruben Brown, B. Brockenmyer 96: Jonathen Ogden, Willie Anderson, Pete Kendall, Jeff Hartings, Jermain Mayberry 97: Orlando Pace, Walter Jones, Ross Verba 98: Kyle Turley, Tra Thomas, Mo Collins, Alan Faneca 99: John Tait, Damien Woody 00: Chris Samuels, Stockar McDougal 01: Jeff Backus, Steve Hutchinson 02: Levi Jones, Bryant McKinnie, Kendall Simmons 03: Jordan Gross 04: Shawn Andrews I'm not counting 2005 because its too early to tell if these players have what it takes to be successful (Jamaal Brown, Alex Baron, Chris Spencer, Logan Mankins). I left out other players like Robert Gallery, and Jeff Faine because they've either been injured or the jury is still out on them. Anyway there are lots who don't work out but the same is true for EVERY postion in the NFL. The draft is a crapshoot but to say 1st Round O-lineman hardly pan out is simply not true. Unless DaBrick falls to us at eight I doubt we will be picking an O-lineman this year in Round 1.
  2. Fug that, aren't most of here long time Bills watchers? Not trying to rag on VaBills or anything but he was able to note ONE game (cinci) where Anderson didn't play like complete sh*t. If it COST us 800k rather than saving it I would still want to cut that fat turd.
  3. Well although its not Buffalo, he did play college ball at Purdue and in the Big Ten where there are a lot of cold weather places. Unfortunately I don't think it will bother him too much.
  4. Well being 22 and in college, thats probably the 300th labia refrence I've heard since I hurt my shoulder. Thanks for putting words in my mouth SDS .
  5. Thats because nobody cares . It has flashed on ESPNnews though.
  6. I have to disagree with you. V. Young led the ENTIRE NATION in passer efficiency last year and although he's regarded as not being the sharpest knife in the drawer, on the field he's a very good, quick desicion maker. I know I'm in the minority but I think he'll be very good in the NFL. That being said I still don't want to draft a QB.
  7. So maybe someone like DaBrick, Super Mario, or Hawk falls to us at 8
  8. Fair enough, however if anyone thinks that both New Orleans and Miami haven't consulted their own doctors as to the long term effects of one tearing the labrum in their shoulder, they are sadly mistaken. It wouldn't surpise me if both NO and Miami also wanted to take a look at the original MRI (in the case of a labrum its usually and MRI-arthogram) to evaluate the damage. I'm assuming San Diego let him go because they have Rivers; we all can't believe it because Rivers looked like complete crap in mop up duties last year. Bree's doctor even sent a letter to all NFL teams claiming the surgery was a complete success and he will be 100% by the start of training camp.
  9. And as I've said before I had the same operation last Tuesday and it's not that bad. My labral tear was considered very bad (tore about 80% of the thing), and while I'm no NFL QB I am young and pretty athletic, and I expect to be 100% by the end of May. IMHO he'll be just fine.
  10. The Skins are trying to sign him so look for him to get a 4 year 50mil dollar deal.
  11. NO offered a deal worth about $10 mil a year according to Mort. So I'm sure it will be something like that, hopefully a little more.
  12. Says this means the two sides are SERIOUS right now (well no sh*t Mort, I thought Miami was just messing around). NO is still in the fold but it looks like Miami might be the front runner right now. Don't know how to feel about all this: I don't want Miami getting this much better but I want the Saints to draft a QB with there first pick.
  13. This deal would make Hutch the highest paid O-lineman in NFL history according to ESPNnews. 16 mil in guaranteed money with a 13 million dollar signing bonus.
  14. Here is another example of 1gap2gap's unusual debate style where no facts are provided to back up a point. See what I'm doing 1gap, I'm providing proof to back up my argument, you should try it sometime, then people wouldn't be able to make fun of you so much.
  15. Dean and Lurker: This is what he does all the time!!!! Don't even argue with this dumbass, he will go on and on with post like this and never provide any facts to back up his arguments. Its just what he does.
  16. Oh I think they would draft him if he was there at 12, I just don't see it happening. As for the Ram signings...I hate the Rams but I think they really have addressed some needs and brought in some guys who fit that defensive system a lot better than the guys they had..i.e. Chavous. I'm not in St. Louis right now so I don't know how they are being recieved but I'm sure everyone in ecstatic. Will Witherspoon is way underrated as a LB IMHO.
  17. Couldn't disagree more, we're still not drafting QB though. And if either Young or Leinart falls to us, Hawk will not be there at #8.
  18. Well at least he provides information to back up his argument 1gap...something you have never been able to do (the miami argument). If his cap figures are wrong (which from all accounts that I've researched they are not) please enlighten us to the correct cap figures and the results of the dead cap for next year.
  19. I don't see Ngata falling to them even if we don't take him. I'm pretty sure that St. Louis will grap him up at Eleven. They love him around here. I agree with the comment about Bunkley having a "higher cieling" than Ngata and wouldn't mind trading down to pick up another second.
  20. This is there own fault for not franchising him. Who else are they losing? They haven't lost Bernard yet, I really hope we talk to him though. The Alexander deal is really more like 4 years at 28mil and chances are he'll never see year 5 of that contract.
  21. Damn, but holy crap that makes Bentley look cheap! No way could we make an offer like that.
  22. I hear $30 mil, sounds like Moss, LLoyd, and Randell El all have very similiar deals.
