Honestly I wish we would fill areas of real need first but he's a playmaker and you can never have enough of them. My guess is they plan on expanding CJ's role in the offense a lot (duh) and don't want to risk injury to him in the return game. Brad Smith is a stand up guy, will be great in the locker room, and DYNAMIC in the return game. The fact that he didn't get voted into the Pro Bowl last year as a returner was a joke.
