  1. No offense RT but I think you're confusing PR bullsh*t with your own hope of Moulds remaining a Bill. Untill he's officially announced as a member of another team everyone in our front office is going say stuff about us wanting to keep moulds and how right now he's still a member of the bills...blah, blah, blah. Moulds was one of my favorite Bills over the last decade and its hard to see him go but even I get why he won't be here next year. If Houston ponies up the 4th, lets take it and move on.
  2. Right now they don't want to part with their 4th and are trying to get Moulds for a fifth....I don't think we'll be able to get one of their 3rds.
  3. Why the hell not? I'm all for taking the best available at #8 (Huff, Davis, Ngata or Ferguson if by the grace of god he's there) but after that I wouldn't be pissed at all if we drafted only lineman for every pick. Tim Anderson is our starting DT and the only FA O-lineman we brought in is Fowler. I think we all agree that this line is more than "one Fowler away" from being remotely decent. Even though this is the NFL and anything can happen, IMHO even with a great draft we're not a playoff team next year. Solidify the lines with the draft this year, worry about safety and wide reciever next year. I know it sounds crazy but I wouldn't mind it if it happened.
  4. Bingo, great first post! Welcome to the Wall.
  5. Just wait until Pujols has his break-out year
  6. Because he doesn't want to play here anymore and has a huge contract that he won't restructure. This team is on a youth movement anyway and is building for the future not next year (but who knows it is the NFL). I love Moulds as much as most Bills fans do and haven't forgotten what he's done over the years, but even I know why he won't be a Bill next year.
  7. Which means that both teams have to agree on compensation for moulds (the third or fourth rounder we want). If they offer a fourth (who knows if the will) get this crap over with and move on.
  8. Don't believe everything you read but I found this on yahoo when checking my fantasy baseball team.... ORLANDO, Fla. – Teams in search of a quarterback on the trade market could be in line for yet another young talent in the coming weeks: J.P. Losman. Two league sources indicated Tuesday that Losman hasn't gained the confidence of the Buffalo Bills' new regime. Both sources expect the team to put the former first-round pick on the trade block before the start of the 2006 season – if he isn't already there. Bills general manager Marv Levy declared the quarterback position an open race last week after signing Craig Nall to a three-year contract, and it was widely believed the former Green Bay Packers reserve QB would compete with Losman for starting duties. But one personnel man familiar with the situation said he expects Levy to put out trade feelers for Losman in the coming weeks. "I think it's going to be something that boils down to Nall as the No. 1 and (Kelly) Holcomb as the backup," he said. "If you went through the locker room and people were honest, (there would be) a lot of people who aren't sold on Losman as a leader." When asked if Losman could still win the support of Levy and teammates in the coming weeks, the source painted the situation as "doubtful." "The biggest advocates of (Losman as a starter) are gone, but he's still a guy who has trade value," he said. "If Nall ends up being the starter and Holcomb is a solid backup you can rely on, why would you have Losman sitting at the bottom (of the depth chart) when you can still get something out there for him?" The advocates that were mentioned are ex-general manager Tom Donahoe and ex-head coach Mike Mularkey. Interestingly, Mularkey is now the offensive coordinator of the Miami Dolphins – a team that is actively seeking a backup quarterback and exploring a possible trade for the Detroit Lions' Joey Harrington. However, the Dolphins also are looking for a veteran backup who has a generous amount of starting experience, and Losman doesn't seem to fit the profile. If there is any inclination to move Losman, the Bills haven't shown it publicly – outside of bringing Nall in to vie for starting honors. New head coach Dick Jauron has been supportive and complimentary of Losman so far, and said Tuesday he's hoping Nall's acquisition will spur some healthy competition. "(Losman has) had two years now to develop," Jauron said. "He had to play a lot last year. It was thrown on him early. It was a difficult situation to be in for a young guy. So he's got a real chance (to improve in his third year). He's got all that physical talent. He can run. He's got a strong arm. He's a smart guy. He's not afraid to work. He's got a lot of upside to him. We've got to give him a chance to get it out. Hopefully those other guys competing will force the hand a little bit and make them all better." "(Nall) obviously doesn't have a lot of playing time. But when he's played he's performed well. He's been accurate with the football. He's a good decision maker. He's got experience. We're not teaching the guy how to play. All he has to do is transfer information. He should be able to step up and compete. He's got good size (6-foot-3, 230 pounds). I like his size – his height in the pocket. I like his demeanor. I like the way he handled himself in interviews. He's a very competitive guy. He believes he can be a starter and should be a starter."
  9. Gotta love him on special teams though, he's a great gunner
  10. This is absolute bull sh--! Bennie Anderson gets a higher pick than Pat fuggin Williams! Fug this.. should have been a 4th at least. This system makes no sense.
  11. Love McCargo and what about Wroten from LSU?
  12. 6 DEs going in the first two rounds is by no means out of the question. Since Lawson is the only "tweener" of the group, his 40 time is a lot more important (considering he'll most likely be playing OLB at the next level). Theres a chance he is there for our second but IMHO he's not going to around after round 2.
  13. Lawson has been going in the first round in a lot of recent mock drafts after his combine performance. I like this draft but Lawson won't be there in the third.
  14. I don't want to draft Young either and by all accounts no way will it happen (I have to admit I wouldn't be all that pissed if it did though). One thing that pisses me off is that some people claim he is a bad decision maker....he lead the fuggin nation in Passer Efficiency and is a great leader. There are a lot of question marks surrounding Young (throwing motion, wonderlic, etc.) but his upside is tremendous. IMHO he is top ten talent but we have our own 1st round QB to groom. On the flipside, I think Culter is the most overrated QB in the draft. I know its not a one man show out there on the field but heres a little tidbit about Cutler...he's 11-34 as a starter.
  15. I don't care who is the roster I would love to draft Mangold even at #22. I like the Fowler signing but I want as much competition as possible for the interior of this line (and the tackle position for that matter). Preston could stil compete for a position at guard or center. Hell, we could still draft a guard in round 2 like Davin Joseph (that would be sweet),a safety like Jason Allen, or another DT (Claude Wroten or John McCargo). One thing is is certain, I want to invest heavily in both lines come April 29th and 30th.
  16. per ESPN bottomline. Probably a result of Chicago matching the offer sheet, but I'm happy to have Denney back.
  17. Its a mess up, fox sports doesn't know what they are talking about
  18. Good for clump, some well deserved recognition for all his hard work! Nice job clumpy.
  19. If you hate it so much, why respond? Just thought some would enjoy a change of pace from the following topics: Marv doesn't know what he's doing, Ngata vs. Bunkley, Lets draft a QB at #8.
  20. Unless you have a really fast connection might want to let it load first.....I'm only a semi-soccer fan but its still a pretty cool video. 50 Greatest Goals Video
