  1. I almost made the same post...this is terrible, 50 minutes in and the only thing discussed has been T.O. Leinhart, Bush, and Young. Fuggin ESPN.
  2. Just thought I'd give the heads up to anyone interested.
  3. Maybe if we sign Reyes we can cut Bennie Anderson's fat ass. If we were to sign him that would create a lot of competition in the interior of our O-line....thats a good thing. Not to mention were probably going to add some more bodies in the draft.
  4. IMHO the best big wideout in this draft is Baskett....this kid is going to be a steal early on day 2.
  5. In the words of Promo the Robot: Can you print me a copy of this? So I can wipe my ass with it.
  6. That being said Nate is still one of my favorite Bills and I'm hoping for a rebound season in 2006.
  7. Well Mcgee improves every game and WAS our best corner last year. I seem to remember Nate giving up some monster games to WR's last year...C. Chambers and a bunch of scrubs from the San Diego game. Nate was one of my favorite Bills going into 2005 but had a terrible year. Bottom line...when the entire defense plays like sh*t it tends to magnify bad coverage and expose CBs. Mcgee had a great year and was one of the few brightspots on this team. He continues to improve as a corner and is the best return man in the NFL.
  8. Hey Malta, is McNeil really that inconsistent (haven't watched him play much, just some film)? He only gave up 1 sack in his entire career and was a four year starter. He'll go late first but would be an absolute steal if he was around in the second. Auburn did lead the SEC in offense last year after loosing Cadillac, Brown, and Cambell. I agree that he will need some time but think eventually he won't have much of problem with the top speed rushers in the NFL because Mcneil is very very quick for a big man. As for Jason Allen..he has seen his stock sky rocket from 3rd round to the mid first-late second. After watching some film of Allen...IMHO he was every bit as impressive as Huff and would be a steal in round 2. The good thing about this draft is there is a lot of depth at the positions we need most. If we go DT in round one we can probably pick up a good interior lineman in Round 2...(Davin Joseph, Gean-Jiles). If we go OL or S in round 1 we can get a guy like Wroten or the kid from NC State (can't remeber his name) in round 2 or 3. Should be interesting
  9. It does however I'll have to watch his video again (when I get home tonight). I remember being a lot more impressed with Tapp, although Dumervil might be around after Tapp is gone. I'll try and post after I get home.
  10. And some people on this site are douche bags. OH My God You bought a draft video! Yeah I spent $20 bucks on something so I can see film for myself rather than having to listen to countless "expert opinions" that differ greatly on virtually every player. You're right we don't have any bearing on who the Bills will choose but this way I know more about who I want to draft come April 29 and 30th. Not to mention when the Bills do actually draft I'll have some film on the guys we've taken and will be able to envision how they can help this team. You act as if I'm the first person you've ever heard of thats into the NFL draft.
  11. Pretty good buy although they are missing a few prospects that I would have liked to see film of (Mangold, G. Watson). Fourth and Goal Video Draft Guide Although the film is pretty much highlight videos of about 100 prospects it definetley changed my opinion (slightly) of some players. No offense to Mario Williams (I think he's going to be a beast at the next level) but OH MY GOD is A.J. Hawk a fuggin freak on the field. IMHO he might be the best player in this draft. I don't think I've EVER seen a player fly around the field like that. I would love to have him in a Bills uni. Huffs film was a lot of the same as the one posted on this website a few weeks ago but also had a lot of new tape as well. I know some Texas fans claimed the tackling on the last video was out of character for Huff (some even compared his tackiling to A. Winfield..BillsGuyinMalta maybe, cant remember?) but this video showed a lot more high tackling. Very high tackling for that matter, Antoine never tackled anyone that high. Still very impressive and I think the tackling issue can be corrected with good coaching but still leaves me a little concerned. All in all though, still a very impressive player and wouldn't mind him at all at 8. Jason Allen looks almost as impressive as Huff and would be a steal in the second if available (and if we don't draft Huff). Both Ngata and Bunckley were also very impressive. IMHO Bunkley might be a lot better than some give him credit. This guy plays until the whistle blows and I don't think he would be a reach at all at 8. In fact I think I like him better than Ngata at this point althogh its almost a push. Others who realy impressed..... Daryl Tapp (might be around in the third) Tamba Hali (1st rounder, not a likely pick) Claude Wroten (2nd round-maybe 3rd, would be a steal in round 3 IMHO) Davin Joseph (great value in the second) Marcus McNeil (probably late first, would be a steal in round 2 but not likely) Winston Justice (1st round, possible pick...could be a reach at 8) Hank Baskett (this would be great 4th rounder if we address the lines early) Charles Gordon (might be around in the 5th...tremendous upside) Just some thoughts after seeing some actual film.
  12. I grew up in Va and used to go to a Summer Camp in Surry,Va (don't know if thats spelled right). There was a bald eagle that had a nest about 20 feet up in a tree that was right on the Chesapeake Bay, it was massive...one of the coolest animals I've ever seen in the wild. In Louisiana, Missouri (don't ever go there it will remind you of the movie Deliverance) they have a gathering of Bald Eagles every spring. There is a small damn that is let down every spring....as the fish go over the damn they become stunned and briefly rise to the surface of the water. All types of birds of prey go there to feed on the fish. I was out there about 5 years ago and there were 3 Bald Eagles feeding at once...Pretty rare. Really cool animal, glad to see there numbers are increasing again.
  13. No way did you just make a post that was only one line
  14. Thats a good point but I have to disagree...W. Jones has been in that group for years and has only experienced post season success last year.
  15. You know who never gets mentioned as one of the best in the game but should...Willie Roaf. Even last year, at his age, he was dominate. For years whenever people have mentioned the best OTs in the game it's always Ogden, Pace, W. Jones. IMHO Roaf should be grouped in there as well. Ogden did have a down year last year (although he played a lot better the second half) and is showing signs of his age.
  16. Wow, I love that second draft, you missed that we still have pick 73 and they have us taking Chris Chester (Center) of OU. I would much rather have McCargo (taken the pick before in that mock) then Dvoraceck with the fourth rounder. Not sure if he'll be there though. Just goes to show you how uncertain some players' stocks are right now. One mock has McCargo as our second rounder while the other has him as the last pick of the third round. Gotta love that Hank Baskett pick too...that guy is a beast!
  17. Good or not Good its inevitable. This team is more than a year away IMHO and is building toward the future not the present.
  18. I haven't been on much the last few weeks so I guess I missed what caused the soup craze, what the hell is all that about?
  19. who were involved need to get locked up for a long time. Not to make it a racial issue (I'm white myself) but I can't help but think if it was a white girl and all black team, some of those kids would still be in a police station answering questions. If the allegations are true, those who are guilty need to be punished to the full extent of the law. As someone who recently graduated college, I know how out of control the drunken mob can get at big parties (usually with fights among drunk males) and people can do some really dumb sh*t. This is disgusting.
  20. No kidding, its a lot of money for someone who fell WAY off the map last year when Moss left for Oakland. He's young but after the year he had no way would I give him that kind of money.
  21. I don't know, I'm starting to like this pick more than Ngata...I place a lot more value on what a player does on the field, but Bunkley's combine was pretty damn impressive (44 lifts of 225lbs is a ton). I haven't watch him play that much but he did have a lot of tackles for a loss last year and seemed to put up really good numbers for a penetrating DT. I don't think we'll really be able to trade down anymore and draft Bunkley, his stock has been rising as of late. Huff would be sweet at this pick also. Anybody get to watch a lot of Bunkley last year (Ramius)?
  22. I'm starting to think this is becoming more of a possibility with him fitting our scheme more than Ngata. Guess we'll see on 4/29.
  23. I'll admit that you were right and I was wrong about Jason Allen, looks like he -could sneak into the first round...although my mock was pre-combine when he was projected as an early third. You've made your point but your still a choad.
