  1. As much as I hate to give those Choads credit I was watching the Bucs/Fish preseason game and Dan Wilkinson was running through Tampa's first string line. The sack he put on Chris Simms was more like a WWF Power Bomb and right now he's listed as 4th string on that line. Hope thats not JP or whoever the hell is taking the snaps in week 2.
  2. My TV says tomorrow at 9pm NFL football, Teams to be determined which is why we are voting. Unless your TV says something else.
  3. Keep voting everyone, I really want to see the damn game!
  4. I knew I remembered this guy from some where...... Ball Burglers Since you appear to be a guy who is giving back to his community and helping out some charities I have to respect that. But who in the hell came up with the name Ball Burglers? And stay away from my nutts.
  5. According to the Sunday Night Football crew, Parcells is considering starting Romo over Bledsoe because of his ability to avoid the rush. Should be interesting...
  6. I can't stand Collinsworth, he's by far my least favorite. As for Troy A., as much as I hated that guy when he played, I really enjoy listening to him call games. I guess I'm the only one who likes Joe Buck on this board; that might have something to do with the home-town bias though.
  7. Well the one good thing about this post is that for once it didn't take you 8000 words to read way too much into what someone said. Any dumbass could simply tell from what I said is that I favor K. Williams over T. Anderson and that I don't think highly of Anderson. While I said Anderson doesn't deserve a roster spot IMO, I didn't suggest the Bills are actually going to cut him nor are they really in a position to do so. I don't care if Anderson was getting his feet wet last year; his play did not encourage me that he can develop into a good player in years to come. I didn't even bring up Jason Jefferson but the little I have seen from him is better than the numerous unimpressive snaps I've seen Anderson involved in. Hopefully I'm wrong about Anderson but right now I just don't see it.
  8. How did our 2 first rounders do last night? Glad to hear K. Williams looked good again; Tim Anderson doesn't deserve a roster spot IMHO. With Vincent out did Donte and Ko start or was it Donte and Baker?
  9. Ravens/Eagles here in STL. Tis bull sh-- should be same rules for everybody! Its not like the Eagles haven't already had 2 other games on TV.
  10. What happened on those fumbles? I just got home and didn't get to watch or even follow the game past the first couple series.
  11. I see JP had two fumbles and a pic, anybody know what happened on those fumbles?
  12. Just watched it on NFL network, he does look a lot faster.
  13. I didn't even get to see it, just going on what the play by play tells me...says Royal had the key block.
  14. I don't know why I'm even wasting my time posting in this thread but one thing that gets to me is when some people claim that all these guys run these amazing sub 4.3 forty times. There are probably 5 guys in the entire league that can actually run in the 4.2s and I'm willing to bet Willis (even prior to the knee injury) is not one of them. Keep in mind that most of these exaggerated times are recorded in College and never seem to be reinforced by the more structured events that record such numbers like the Combine.
  15. What a dumbass! 100 mph in a 55 mph zone while drunk.........Brilliant!
  16. I agree with originial poster, Anderson in terrible! He absolutely can not hold his position and generally ends up on the ground or 10 yards downfield. I know D-lineman take a while to develop but keep in mind that some NEVER develop. I haven't seen anything that shows me Anderson has made any progress from his first start last year. It will be interesting to see how Williams plays the rest of the preseaseon.

  18. From all the reports I guess I don't want to watch, but I'm going to.........
  19. Uh, he was only thrown to one time, and he caught the ball. And he wasn't cut from any team, rather the Eagles gave up something to get him from the Vikings. I don't think that an undrafted FA would be starting on the Eagles if he had terrible hands. Hank Baskett Position: Wide Receiver School: New Mexico Status: Senior Height: 6-3 Weight: 220 40-Yard Dash: 4.55 (EST) Positives: Hank Baskett is a very solid prospect who gives you a big target all over the field. He has a great complement of size and strength. Has great leaping ability demonstrated by the fact that he was the 2004 Mountain West Conference outdoor high jump champion. He can go up and grab any ball thrown his way, and will be a favorite target of some quarterback in this league with his athleticism and knowledge of the passing game. Negatives: Hank is not going to burn any decent cornerback with his average speed. You also will have to worry about a major spinal cord injury that caused him to miss half of his redshirt freshman season and if it will affect him in the future. He does not have as many touchdowns as you would like to see from a big time wide receiver but that may result from a lot of double coverage and the system in which he plays. Overview: A definite first-round pick, Hank Baskett is a character guy who loves football. He does not play in a BCS conference and is flying under the radar, but has a lot of potential to become a big weapon at the next level. He will work hard and accept his role in playing team football. Baskett would not have been at the top of the wide receiver prospects last year and needed all four years of college to become a polished wideout. Either San Diego or Dallas would be an outstanding fit for Hank if he drops that far.
  20. I saw this guy in person last year against my Missouri Tigers and he lit us up for 11 catches 210 yards and 3 TDs. He was undrafted free agent and he's already getting a lot of snaps with the Eagles' first team offense. I really liked the signing of Nance but IMHO Baskett has a chance of really being a star and would have loved if we had picked him up in the 6th or 7th.
  21. Actually I live in Columbia, Missouri (University of Missouri) and we had a player named Aaron O'neil die in last year's summer practices due to miningitus. For a short time before he collapsed and was rushed to the hospital, he was complaining of having symptoms similiar to heat stroke but it turned out to be much more serious. It was extremely sad, the kid was only 19. I'm just glad they actually took McCargo to the hospital to get checked out and thank god its only dehydration.
