  1. I think William "Hellicopter" Franklin is going to surprise a lot of people at the next level but I'll admit I'm overly biassed....can't ignore the measurable though 6ft 1 214lbs, 4.3 speed, 40 in Vert. He had good production at Mizzou but his numbers aren't as flashy because he played in an offense that was overly crowded with playmakers.
  2. My thoughts exactly, oh well guess we'll know soon enough.
  3. Thats kind of how I feel, maybe one of those situations where it isn't as much a position of need but if Conner is a player that our FO has rated high enough they pull the trigger?
  4. I would love to have Dan Conner in a Bills uni playing next to Poz. I've heard a lot of people suggesting Rivers still as a potential pick at 11 but what about Conner in Round 2. Just seems that if we go CB or DE in Rd 1 we almost have to get a WR in round 2. I know we signed K. Mitchell and have our starters set with Crow, Poz, and KM but with Angelo becoming a FA after this year could Conner factor in if available in round 2? I absolutely want to get a starter/instant contributor at the following positions WR, TE and or CB/DE but wouldn't mind at all if we were able to land Conner. Thoughts?
  5. My point was (shouldn't have brought up the Moss trade) that at least a 1st and a 2nd is way too much. Getting Randy Moss for a fourth round pick was a joke IMO but I wouldn't give up more than a 2nd for Ocho Cinco. I used to think he wasn't a turd and enjoyed watching his antics on Sundays but after this offseason, I'm no longer on the CJ bandwagon.
  6. Anybody else see this? No wonder this dumbass doesn't have a job anymore........Randy Moss went for a 4th rounder why would CJ cost a 1st and a 2nd round pick. What a moron, but this is the guy who drafted Pacman Jones so take it for what its worth.
  7. If Rucker is there in Rd 5 and we haven't already drafted a TE thats a no-brainer.
  8. SORRY FOR THE CAPS, BY THE WAY..........FU*K YOU GUYS
  9. Being from the midwest and a Mizzou alum, I've got to see a lot of Sweed, Kelley, and Nelson over the last couple of seasons and if I were to rank them as to who I'd want as a number 2 for the Bills it would be.......... 1. Kelley 2. Nelson 3. Sweed Sweed might have the best measurables but in the games I've seen him play (I'd say I've seen each of these kids play in 5-10 games maybe more from Kelley) he never stuck me as someone who was a game changing playmaker. He just strikes me as one of these players who will be a mediocre pro. Kelley on the other hand could really make the spectacular catch and I've seen him just straight up overmatch some of the smaller college CBs. I think his poor workout might have been a blessing in disguise.......Kelley in Rd 2 is a much better & safer pick than Sweed at 11 IMHO. I'll admit I've only seen D. Thomas a handfull of times but he is a difference maker in my opinion...runs really well after the catch and will be able to make more plays than the rest of the WRs after the ball is in his hands. If we take a WR in round 1 I hope its D. Thomas, either that or wait untill Rd 2 and take whoever is left.
  10. Yeah except look at what he did on the field last year in additon to what he did at the combine. I've seen Sweed, Kelly and J. Nelson play a lot as I watch a lot of Big 12 football being a Mizzou fan.......D. Thomas is way better than Limas Sweed IMO. I don't care what Kelly ran I'd still much rather have him in Rd 2 than sweed at 11.
  11. No offense to you Astro, but will people please quit saying he can't block..........he was NEVER asked to block on the line in Mizzou's Spread Offense. He was always blocking downfield for his fellow teamates and did a damn good job at it. Just because he didn't line up next to a tackle doesn't mean he won't be able to at the next level, Ruck will turn himself into a good blocker he's one of those guys who will have a chip on his shoulder just because people are saying he can't be a complete TE. The guy brings an incredible amount of intangibles too......great character, awesome leader, and VERY firey competitor.............I'll take him over any TE in this years draft.
  12. pretty sure Calvin Johnson had more than 1 TD..............just too lazy to look it up and I think Joe Thomas did go to the Pro Bowl.
  13. Funny, thats the exact play I was thinking of as well......watch that and then tell me he's not fast.
  14. Uggh, our draft did suck; me and a friend were actually talking about the entire 2005 draft the other day (I couldn't remember who the 1st overall pick was).............it might have been one of the worst NFL drafts in the last 10 years.............check out it out. 2005 NFL Draft Results
  15. I was wondering if anybody had ever been to the Derby, me and some friends want to go party in the infield that weekend. Anybody been? How much are infield tickets and how easy are they to get? Thanks in advance to those who respond.
