  1. Trying to get the most bang for my buck in the housing market.....not too familiar with Cali.
  2. Yeah well a lot of people don't realize St. Louis weather sucks too, we have long crappy winters and pretty brutally hot summers with a lot of humidity. I know the winters aren't nearly as cold as Buffalo's but they are just down-right depressing and overcast from October untill mid March if not April. I'm used to the warm weather having lived in South Georgia for 5 years and I don't really mind the heat....I actually welcome it. I'm pretty open though I could go a number of ways.....Las Vegas, Colorodo, Florida, Virginia who knows.
  3. No, Its not soley based off that, I always have the option of moving to Cleveland and starting the Martin Rucker fanclub.
  4. That was part of the reason I was considering moving down there, just like Vegas right now its amazing the type of house you can get for the money....This is be offered for $245k (you could probably get something like this for about $200-$225 if you know what your doing.) Good advice as far as the association fees...add that to the insurance hike and it def. becomes something to consider.
  5. Thanks to everybody for the advice, I have put some thought into going back to Virginia....Richmond area was a great place to grow up. The other area I'm really considering is Denver...I love Colorodo and the Mountains.
  6. I've been to Cocoa before, when I was a little kid and there was a shuttle launch when I was there....pretty cool, shook the entire restaraunt we were eating dinner at and everyone ran outside to watch.
  7. Alright I'm thinking of moving to Florida after I get my undergrad in electrical engineering from Washington University here in St. Louis (on track to graduate spring of 2011). Where do all you florida people recommend? I was originally thinking me and the old lady would just post up somewhere in the keys for a few years untill I realized that there aren't any jobs down there. Anyway a little backround on myself: I'm still pretty young, 25 about to be 26, so I would have to move somewhere thats not just a bunch of geriatrics, and has a decent job market (thats relative of course). I'm not married right now but I'm in a pretty serious relationship, so as much as it pains me to admit it , theres a good chance that might not be the case two years from now. I'm familiar with the southeast having grown up in Midlothian, Va and having lived on St. Simons Island, Ga for 5 years and I'm just sick of cold weather.....would much rather spend a January evening drinking a beer in shorts next to my pool rather than shoveling my damn driveway (sorry Buffalonians for complaining....I know it could be worse). Right now, I'm thinking Tampa. Anybody got any advice? Thanks in advance.
  8. Do something like this Steely...... Get em back!
  9. Thats the talk round these parts.......a lot of people want Crabtree in St. Louis. Theres a lot of others who want them to draft Maclin though (trading down of course if they could) because some thing he's a better fit for their system and they are desperate for a punt/kick returner, and he is a local kid from St. louis. They could go a number of directions.
  10. I think 4 is the best. Look in the third replay where the tip of the ball is when he catches it...its like he caught it with just the tips of his fingers.
  11. Top Ten catches from 2008 I think #4 or #2 are the best.
  12. I want to see what my boy Maclin runs.....and no I'm saying we should draft him, just want to see what he runs.
  13. So tell me Bucky, was the earth created in 7 days?
  14. You are black? http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=81027&hl=
  15. What'd she say about metal sewer grates? Glad you're OK Steely
  16. I'm not saying Carlson isn't faster than his combine time but I'm always skepitcal about Pro-Day times, have you ever noticed that if a guy runs a bad time at the combine, they always run much better at their Pro-Day. I can't think of one instance where somebody has actually run a slower time. That being said, I put more stock in how the guys perform in pads anyway. I was also a Carlson fan last year, my lil sis was ND athlete as well...graduated in 2006 so I followed the Irish pretty closely. I expect Coffman to run in the 4.7s though.
  17. yeah but its just so unsafe (not that boxing is safe to begin with). He broke a training partners orbital bone allegedley doing the same thing. Be a man and just box.
  18. Margarito Suspended for 1 year What a P*ssy.
  19. Agreed about Carlson but he was viable option as a rookie, most WRs and TEs have trouble just seeing the field.....my point was he was much better than mediocre.
  20. Man you guys really follow football pretty closely don't you....I was being sarcastic when saying he "did OK". By OK I meant pretty fuggin good.... John Carlson (you wouldn't take this Mediocrity from a rookie on the Bills, BuckyDumbass?) 15 games 55 rec 627 yards and 5 Tds compared to Dustin Keller, who was the sexy pick because of workouts and his 4.5 speed Dustin Keller 16 games 48 rec 535 and 3 TDs and countless drops But since Carlson was so slow and Mediocre lets not stop at comparing him to his rookie peers....... Rookie Season Stats Tony Gonzalez 33 rec 368 yds 2 Tds Kellen Winslow Sr 25 rec 255 2 Tds Shannon Sharpe 7 rec 99 yards 1 Tds Jeremy Shockey 74 rec 894 yds 2 Tds Jason Witten 35rec 347 yds 1 Tds Dallas Clark 29rec 340 yds 1 Tds Alge Crumpler 25 rec 330 yds 3 Tds Owen Daniels 34 rec 342 yds 5 Tds Man you guys really know your sh*t! I would hate to have such a slow, mediocre TE on the Bills, what the hell was I thinking
  21. John Carlson ran a 4.93 last year.....he did alright for a Rook.
  22. Every year as in 2 you mean, where they actually produced 2 players who filled a major position of need like TE. Thats all I recall and its not like Coffman's some scrub that I'm just hyping bc he played for my College, he's the all time NCAA leader for receptions by a TE and he won the Mackey award this year. They were both All-Americans and Mackey award Winners... Rucker while sharing the field with Coffman. Coffman def. has a better skillset then Rucker and will be a great pro. I don't remember me campaining for Brad Smith to QB the Bills in previous years.
  23. Brian Leonard has been terrible in St. Louis, I was never that big of a fan. Whats your deal with Rucker? I still think he'll do alright, he was having a great preseason and then broke his leg in the last pre-season game, not really his fault.
