  1. My mom did the 100th Running of the Boston Marathon (forget the year edit 1996) but she said it was amazing. I tried to get into New York last year but didn't get in through the lottery. Infact my mom and my little sister both ran the marathon this year (don't know the official name) that started in Buffalo and ended in Canada by the falls; of all people in my family I figured I'd be the first to venture up to Buffalo. Just ran the St. Louis Marathon on Sunday and it kind of sucked because it poured rain the entire race and really bad the last 10 miles. I will run both Boston and New York before I die, my ultimate goal is to run in and complete the Ironman in Hawaii.
  2. I could live with the first three picks but after that I agree with you. Everybody knows how I feel about Coffman and I think it would be really dumb to pass him up in Round 3. I don't mind Magee, I think he could actually be a sleeper but I think he is def. around with either one of our 4th rounders, just my opinion though.
  3. Call me crazy, but I'll take a guy with Crazy Good hands (the best since L. Fitzgerald IMO, maybe better), great route running, toughness, great leaping ability with outstanding body control, who happens to not only be the most prolific TE in NCAA history but also a team leader (Coffman) over an underachieving workout warrior who looks good doing a couple of drills in shorts (Nelson, Cook, and Ingram).
  4. If they are there, I kind of think the same way about Herman Johnson as you do about Michael Johnson (kind of reminds me of Jamie Nails....but bigger) but I think he'd be good value if there in Rd 4. Plus I think Sidbury is a nice insurance policy and could turn out to be a real sleeper, so could the kid from Missouri Western.
  5. Upgrade the Trenches!!!!!! Also, Trade Roscoe to the Chiefs for disgruntled OG Brian Waters..... Rd 1. Michael Other OT Ole Miss Rd 1. Michael Johnson DE Georgia Tech (he's the best of what is left) Rd 2. Chase Coffman TE Missouri Rd 3. Lawrence Sidbury DE Richmond Rd 4. Herman Johnson OG LSU Rd 4. Tyrone Mckenzie OLB S. Florida Rd 5. AQ Shipley C Penn State Rd 6. Chris Baker DT Hampton Rd 7. Roger Allen OG Missouri Western Whaddya Think?
  6. Ayers won't be there at 28 IMO.....he's rising way too fast.
  7. Steely, Peters really won't have to deal with Haynesworth that much.

  9. too be honest I don't mind it that much....... Just look at last year 3 Chris Ellis Virginia Tech 4 Reggie Corner Akron 4 Derek Fine Kansas 6 Xavier Omon Northwest Missouri State 7 Demetrius Bell Northwest State (LA) 7 Steve Johnson Kentucky 7 Kennard Cox Pittsburgh In fact with exception of Crowell, Edwards and Youboty who are still question marks IMO.....we have had no success in Rd 3 in the last decade. Ron Edwards was ok I guess, and Jonas Jennings couldn't stay on the field.
  10. How the hell are we going to "use the extra picks for Eugene Monroe" and stay at #11.....thats not going to happen and if we are going to pay top 5 money to a rookie, why wouldn't we have just paid Peters? I'm not against the trade because Peters was a totally D-bag, but your draft scenario is totally unrealistic.
  11. He was a damn good outside linebacker in college, he won both the Bednarik Award and Dick Butkus Award in 2005 as a left outside linebacker. In 44 games at Penn State, Posluszny started 37 times, including 20 at left outside linebacker, 11 on the right side and six in the middle. I'd say not only could he play outside, but he'd be better outside.
  12. Count me in too......even if we have to grab him in Rd 2.
  13. Yeah pretty much, the $19 didn't motivate me enough to spend the 30 minutes it takes to do my taxes....my time is worth more than $38 an hour, or so I think. A lot of People don't realize that you don't need to file an extension if the govt owes you money. Everybody acts like the IRS is going to come get them on April 16th if they don't have there taxes in. I had a friend who was going to pay me $50 to do his last night, he was flipping out and it turns out he's getting back $500. He still doesn't believe me that you don't have to do them by the 15th. I told him I was too busy but would do them this weekend and he said no and took them to H&R block and spent $130! He could have easily have used turbo tax and done them whenever he wanted for free.
  14. Actually 99% of the people don't know that Jimbo... Last year I was getting back a whopping $19, I did those bitches in July.
  15. Ha! Did mine in February! Already been paid suckers!
  16. I'm with ya Mike.....I was at Friday's game and it was nutts. Finished 9-1-1 to close out the year and make the playoffs. LETS GO BLUES!
  17. Gregory Cox gets a Gold Star......the rest get an F (except maybe for the dude who picked Everette Brown but he put forth minimal effort with just doing the first round).
  18. True Story: So I get the RROD the second day after Halo 3 came out so I said....F-it, I'm going to buy another X-box at Walmart on my credit card while i send my broken one out. I would then return it when I got the other one back. Didn't plan on that one getting the RROD a week later. I love my X-box but they really are pieces of junk.
  19. Or you have to be an idiot....its not like i'm loaded or anything, I just couldn't lose and then I got greedy. Like I said ended up winning $2500 but I still felt like a big piece of crap.....I wouldn't ever bet like that around Casino's here but Vegas has a way of making you do some crazy sh--.
  20. Yeah I think I speak for just about everybody on the board that your contributions are always welcome here, and I personally appreciate them.
  21. Here's one Knockout...... Don't have a plan going to Vegas.....it won't matter (me and my buddies are the same age (I'm 25). ). A couple hours in you guys will be drunk, raising hell all over that place. Just have fun.....and use the buddy system so nobody comes wondering back to the hotel the next morning talkin bout some hooker they picked up that they "thought was a hot Chick".
