Ha! I was just thinking about how much a wished Takeo was still a bill. I think he might be my favorite bill of all time, guy was just a warrior and the passion he brought to the field was second to none. I also miss Phat Pat a lot and the 2004 version of Aaron Schobel where he actually played around 270 lbs and was an effective all around DE. Check out this highlight video of the 2004 team and look how much bigger Schobel was back then..... Least: Willis, Bennie Anderson, Tutan Reyes, Nate Clements (so overrated IMO), and Jason Peters (depending on how the line gells this year I guess, I just think he's a fat turd. IMO Peters is the most physically talented tackle in football but because of his work ethic and attitude I say he barely cracks the top 10 of Tackles in the NFL)

Pretty cool experience although I didn't even get to meet Pujols because he was late getting to the stadium. Shaq is funny as hell and a total class act, not to mention the guy is bigger than Sasquatch. My buddy got to catch the entire event and had the experience of lifetime......at one point, Shaq wiffed on a ball and it smoked my buddy in the catchers mask and Shaq turned around and gave him a big hug, it was hilarious. Pujols crushed him in the derby though 22-11, and hit some monster shots. Good times.

Yeah I just found that out, cameras too. That sucks, I was hoping on snapping some pics with both of them but I guess ABC doesn't want people leaking the show, which is understandable. Maybe I can sneak my camera in anyway bc we are getting there early but I doubt it.

Nobody Cares.........

So long story short, Shaq is filming a new show called Shaq VS....here in my backyard of Ofallon,Mo at the TR Hughes ballpark. The premise of the show is that shaq is traveling the country and challenging athletes at their respective sport (ie he's going to challenge Michael Phelps in a swimming event). He is going to be challenging Albert Pujols to a home run derby in the is episode. My buddy started his own bat company about a year ago. They make really nice, high-quality wooden bats........http://www.twigbats.com/. Anyway last winter ago he met with the River City Rascals who play in the TR Hughes Ballpark and they struck a deal and he now has a full bat making shop at the stadium. He'll not only be making a few custom bats for Shaq but he also gets to catch the event tonight and me and some other friends get to go before the event and get to meet Shaq and Pujols! Just found out and I am freakin siked!

Well they did bring in Patten for a workout but he must have not been very impressive....I just find it hard to believe there is not a better option out there than Fitzpatrick.

But there was sarcasm involved in creating my post.

I know, I mean I get that he's really smart and is probably really good at breaking down film but physically the guy just does not have it. Sometimes I think DJ's/the Front Office's man love for the Ivy-Leaugers goes a little too far, they do need to be able to play the game in addition to being nerds.

After watching Fitz here in St. Louis for a few years, I'm surprsised he's managed to stay on a roster this long. Can't tell you how excited I was when we signed him......might be the worst backup in the league right now. I don't care that he finished with three wins in Cinci last year, the guy is not an NFL QB. I really hope Trent stays healthy.

I'm not in recovery but I was heavily involved in AA with a family member and it really does work. The key is to find a group you like and to stick with it. My family member relapsed a few times until hefound a group that worked for him. He relapsed a few times and then tried going to 90 meetings in 90 days and after completing that has been sober for over 3 years. I'm not an alcoholic but I think if you really want to give up drinking you just have to take it one day at a time and do the things you can do just to worry about staying sober today. Good luck, you can do it.
