  1. Not to mention it doesn't take long to decide not to be an idiot and just get this bill passed, block everything else you want but get this passed already. I love how my Missouri senators don't even provide an email address, they just have a contact form to fill out. I filled it out but guarantee I won't hear anything until after Xmass.
  2. This really pisses me off. You need to email/write your senator (especially if they happen to be a Republican in this case) and give them a piece of your mind. Its insane they would block such an important/no brainer piece of legislation all because of taxes. What pissed me off more was that Mike Huckabee didn't even really seem to know what was going on in regard to the bill, he didn't realize that it was no longer attached to another bill. He also was more concerned with telling why this is so personal to him and backing fox news than he was saying he would do something about it. This is infuriating.
  3. I'm not saying he'll make a big impact but you guys should at least give the guy a chance to prove himself. He got drafted, hurt his knee in the preseason and went on IR, and then was cut. Its not like a scouting report hasn't been wrong before.
  4. Finally, a Mizzou Tiger on the roster. When can I get my Colin Brown jersey?
  5. I think the O-line has been pretty solid this year....we could use some depth though which can be found in the mid to late rounds. I think the only real question mark on the O-line is RT, perhaps RG if Wood has permanently moved to C. Bell has been solid this year with the exception of 1 game against Minnesota.
  6. 1. Nick Fairley DT/DE Auburn This guy is a Beast, plays with a mean streak and could be used all over the D-line. 2. Greg Jones LB Michigan State Sures up the inside with Poz. Athletic, maybe a little undersized but still very effective against the Run. 3. Dontae Moch OLB Nevada He could be gone by the middle of round 2 but if he's there he fills a big need. 4. John Moffit OL Wisc. Interior Line Depth. Has really come on strong this year for Wisconsin. 4. Derek Hall OT Stanford. More Depth on the O-line. 5. Roy Helu RB Nebraska. Would be a nice insurance policy on Fred untill CJ proves he can carry the load. Would be a nice #3 RB. 6. Andre Smith TE Va Tech. Very versatile TE who can actually run block. Can also play Special Teams and did for Frank Beamer at VT. 7. Ryan Winterswyk DE Boise State. Not the Most athletic and doesn't really fit the 3-4 scheme but the kids just a football player. What the hell? Flame Away!
  7. Thank You! He is much better suited for being a LT than a RT. The one attribute he lacks from an elite tackle is brute strength, but up until last week he did a great job making up for it with good feet and overall technique. Anyway, give me a big mauler type on the right side to match up with Wood, and leave Bell on the blindside to deal with the speed rushers. The kid is progressing very nicely and is far from a finished product. He had 1 really bad game against one of the leagues premier DEs inJared Allen, and it was hard to get him a lot of help when the rest of the line was decimated by injuries. Anyway, he's not a great tackle yet but I like what I see so far and believe he will be in the near future.
  8. That is a really cool thing of TO to do, proves you can't always judge a book by its cover. Just wish there was more of this stuff going on in the league. These guys are in a position to really make an impact on some people who could use an uplifting from time to time and its refreshing to hear of instances when athletes take advantage of that. Kudos to Terrell.
  9. My vote is for that Deep Voice Guy, in fact I think he's my all time favorite poster as well.
  10. You just got your man card revoked.
  11. Astro, You do realize Blaine will probably clock somewhere in the 4.5 to 4.6 range and is extremely mobile for his size. He played on a bad wheel last year so that limited him a little. If anything he's not the greatest pocket passer as he doesn't always set his feet like he should. He's improving in that area each game but he is still a little too unpolished to come out after this year IMO. He is def. not like Bledsoe, he moves extremely well for someone his size. He could run a 100 yard dash before Drew would finish the 40.
  12. So smart that his head can't fit in his helmet for an entire game and after 60 minutes of ball he's just got to rip that thing off and slam it on the ground!
  13. Brock weighed in the day before at 264 but probably was closer to about 280 at the fight, all Heavyweights have to make the 265 weight limit the day before the fight. Cain just outclassed him everywhere, I thought Cain had a great chance but never did I think he would dominate Brock the way he did. I've never seen anyone get right up after a Lesnar takedown like that. Cain has a huge test in his next fight with Junior Dos Santos who has just been wrecking people and is also undefeated. Can't wait for that one.
  14. F you KD. I still take Chase over any Bills QB.
  15. Lets go Mizzou!
  16. Blaine Gabbert will be gettin a lot more attention after he puts on a clinic against the Sooners tonight (or more than likely, I'll be eating some crow). Go Tigers! that is all.
  17. That was Curly Bill. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBfYQOSSPqc
  18. No they won bc he grinded out tough yards to get first downs and keep drives alive and his TD was a hell of an effort. Too bad for him when he was here it way hard to have a roll grinding out 3rd and shorts when we are routinely in third and longs. Oh and they won because Mike Martz doesn't protect his QB and Cutler got killed yesterday. Anyway, I like Lynch but I'm still happy we got something for him, we aren't/weren't going anywhere with or without him.
  19. Danario is going to be a beast if he can stay healthy. 4 catches 73 yards including a 33 yard diving touchdown. We should have absolutely took a flyer on that kid.
  20. You wuss , never had or heard of a Cascabella. According to what I read they aren't supposed to be that hot, only 1500-4000 scovilles which should be about the same as a Jalapeno. I grow a ton of chillies every year, this year I grew Jalapenos, Devil's Tongue, Datils, Habs, Scotch Bonnets, Red Savinas and even some Ghost Peppers. Scotch Bonnets are prob my favorite because you can make some awesome Jerk Marinades with them. The Red Savinas and the Ghost Peppers are really just too hot to do anything with. I might have to check out these Cascabellas you speak of, what kind of flavor do they have? Smokey like a Jalapeno or Citrusy like a Hab?
  21. NERDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
