Those of you who claim Fletch is just as much to blaim for our run defense as our are DTs are crazy. Its not his fault that oposing offensive lines have such an easy time getting to the second level to block. I started at MLB for 3 years in high school. My junior year I made all confrence and led our confrence in tackles. My two DT's were giants for high school ball and were both seniors. One went on to play for Baylor and the other played for Georgia Southern. They kept blockers of me so well I was pretty much able to roam free and make tackles. The following year both of them had gratuated and were replaced by two tackles who were even bigger and supposely had more potential (both were about 300 lbs). They sucked so bad I was getting blown up by lineman who were 70-100lbs heavier then I was on EVERY down (the most I had to worry about before was the fullback or the ocasional lineman getting through which didn't happen that often). I considered myself a pretty decent player but I ended up having a terrible year and tore my ACL in the fourth game when some fat ass guard took out my legs. I know this is the NFL and not High School but I think the same thing is going on with this team. Just look where Tim Anderson ends up at the end of every run play, he's ten yards off the line of scrimage. Fletch is still 7th in the NFL in tackles and I'm willng to bet by the end of the year he is in the top five. He's not getting any younger but IMHO he is still a playmaker at the position. I wouldn't mind spending a first day draft pick on a MLB to groom for his replacement in a few years but those who want to replace him next year are down right dumb. As pathetic as this D-line has been all year I have been more than happy with the way London has played this year.

2006 UFAs I posted this in another thread. I would love to see Bently in a Bills Uni, who do think we should go after?

Not all the time. Three years ago I snuck in seven beers to Arrowhead Stadium. I had two in each pocket, two in my belt and one under my stocking cap. My hat was totally in the shape of a beer, I was just too drunk to care. I got patted down and still walked into the game with every beer. That is proof they are a waste of time. None the less walking in to the stadium with a beer shaped stocking hat was still pretty funny. Good times

Who do you not want on this team next year?

I could be wrong but I seem to remember Gandy giving up at least 5 sacks over the last 3 games, including two to Jared Allen against the chiefs. I'm still not convinced. -
I wasn't trying to make my self look good, I just was trying to prove the point that I've had success so far in my life without being able to spell the word feel (thanks god for spell check). I live in Columiba Missouri and its really not that bad because its a college town and there are plenty of ladies. Besides if I lived in Cali, I probably counldn't afford either one of those cars

Well even if I'm not the best speller at least I'm not totally retarted like yourself. I said the exact same thing you did. Read my post moron, I said I have never been booted for talking sports it was other stuff. And for being so dumb it is amazing that at the age of 23 I just bought a 2006 Porsche 911 to go with QX56 sitting in my driveway. And getting my MBA from the Univeristy of Missouri at the age of 21 along with the 3 franchise IMO's Pizza's I own really demonstrate how stupid I must be. God it's good to be me, quit hatin.

In my personal experience I've never been booted for expressing how I feal about the bills it was when I started saying things like "alaskin darin loves the wang" that I got in some trouble. You have too much time on your hands to write such things. If thats how you feal, then quit being bullied and start doing the bullying

You're right, I'm not sure who will be available or what our cap numbers would be which makes a big difference. I was more or less just pointing out specific individuals who I can't stand to watch play anymore -
Nate Clements is up for player of the game
Stl Bills replied to Stl Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Uh, think about what you just said. The fact that he had to return the ball 6 times is embarising enough, especially since he didn't start the game as our kick returner. I'm not getting down on Roscoe, I thought he did a good job. I just thought it was sad that his kick returning average was the most impressive Bills stat of the game. Now I can sleep easy. -
I think we need to gut the entire organization so... Peace Out to these people.... 1. Tom Donahoe- Don't let the door hit you on the way out. My opinion of TD sure has changed since the Peerless trade and after he ganked Takeo from Cinci. Should have signed Marvin Lewis and I won't even mention the drafts. 2. Mike Williams- fat pos.. nuf said. I went to University of Missouri and I watched Mike dominate in college but this isn't college and he doesn't possess the mental toughness to be a dominant player at this level. 3. Jeff Posey- sometimes I forget he's on the team. Crowell can play the strongside and after a little playing time will probably produce a lot more than the ol' 96er. 4. Josh Reed- catch the ball CHOAD! Once again this isn't college. Peace out. 5. Bennie Anderson- too many penalties but at least MW isn't playing guard. At least Bennie knows what a Stunt is and has the self awareness not to fall on our quarterback's head after he gets him sacked. Anyway he is still very below average. 6. Mike Gandy- not a starter in the NFL 7. Eric Moulds- this is hard to say for me. I don't think Eric is done in the NFL and he is one of my all time favorite bills. If he is going to stay he is going to have to take a MAJOR paycut. I almost hope for his sake he goes and plays with a decent QB in a decent offense before his career is over. 8. Tim Anderson- Anderson is my least favorite Bill. Review the film. On about 80% of all run plays Timmy ends up ten yards down field and no where near the backfield. He has decent pass rush skills for a DT but overall I still think he is terrible. IMHO he makes the whole D-line much much worse. Sape and Bannan are also inadequate. I was actually pleased with the way Jefferson played on the few snaps he was in the game. I don't know how I feel about these Bills: 1. NC-coming into this year he was probably my favorite Bill. Now it's T-mcgee. Highest paid CB in the league? You are not even playing like a top ten CB in this league. Hopefully (who am I kidding) this has been a humbling year for Nate. I still think Nate is damn good and may be the victim of one of the crappiest pass rushes in football (at least on the road), although the SD game still makes me want to puke. I say we franchise him and give him one more year to rebound, Prior to this year I've seen him make too many plays just to let him walk. 2. Troy Vincent- don't look over your shoulder but when given the opportuntiy all Rashad Baker has done is make plays. Not to mention he is much more athletic and has the same amount of experience at the position. He is also much cheaper. Vincent has played well at times but not as of late. I personally would like to see Rashad starting next year. 3. Kelsey- I think Kelsey is average at best but might be the victim of playing next to Tim Anderson all year. I'd like to draft an impact DE or get someone in FA. Kelsey can compete with Denney for a back up spot. 4. Sam Adams- I think Sam is our best D-lineman but there definetley seems to be a Riff between him and the coaching staff. From what I've seen if Sam is healthy he should be on the field every snap regardless of how tired he is. The rest of our DT's suck that bad. I hope they can work it out but big Sam seems like one of those guys who once you piss him off he doesn't easily forgive you. I think he went from excited to play here to down right frustrated. Just my opinion though. Hell, these are the only Bills on defense who seem to give 100% on every play- Schobel, Crowell, Fletch, Mcgee (Takeo gave 300% when he played). I know it sounds drastic but I am overly frustrated with this team. With the people we have on the roster right now and with the history of the front office I have little hope for next year unless serious changes are made. What do you all think... who should be gone and who should stay...why?

Nate Clements is up for player of the game
Stl Bills replied to Stl Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At least you didn't get drunk and tell all your friends (all rams fans who get really annoyed with all my bills talk) that NC was the BEST CB in football. This occured write after he picked that ball and scored in the preseason. They won't let me live that down -

My vote would have been for Lindell, hell the waterboy would have been a better choice then NC -
WTF? Why not add Josh Reed to that list or Jeff Posey? I guess I shouldn't be that surpised though, Roscoe got the fuggin game ball because he caught 2 passes for 14 yards. Anyway you try to polish a turd, it's still a turd. Peace

Stl Bills replied to Stl Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So does everyone else because it was answered in the previous post. Somebody is a fuggin genius! -
According to MM he's fine. Said so in the audio section of the Bills website following the detroit game.
-
I actually like Irvin now too, although I couldn't stand him when he was playing. We all listen to the Dan Patrick show at work and every Monday during the season Irvin comes on for an hour to analyze Sunday's games. IMHO it makes the show.

Only six! It wouldn't have surprised me if this turned into one of those four page threads where everyone bust my chops by giving some bs answer. -
I can't wait either, I'm not going to be able to sleep on Saturday but who really cares. We need a better nickname then "the Playmaker" for Nate though, that belongs to Michael Irvin and I can't have my favorite Bill sharing the same name as some early 90's cowboy coke head!

If Oakland beats New England Thursday
Stl Bills replied to buffalo mike's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I care. If one of the three players covering Wilford on the last play of the Jags game had of made a play on the ball we would have been 1-0 after week 1 last year and would have made the playoffs. It is a marathon but EVERY mile counts.
