  1. Shouldn't we be seeing some teams cleaning house right now?
  2. His medical status is to be determined - by any interested team - there are varied reports about his recovery out here.
  3. actually its a fuzzy birthmark, but ugly all the same
  4. What leads you to believe its a given?
  5. He's still in Nascar and won the whole thing last year as the car owner of Tony Stewart
  6. Nevermind they are really braindead, they think they have a shot at signing Randell EL. What the hell is wrong with these people?
  7. Wow they are pretty optimistic that they are going to be alright, either that or just really brain dead to what is going on right now in the NFL. If we were in their shoes, no doubt what the consensus around here would be.........DOOMED. Anybody interested in any Redskins as potential free agnets, looks like everyone down to the waterboy might be available
  8. This is fuggin crazy. JUST GET THIS SH*T DONE!!!!!! Good for 2006 but terrible for every year after. If there is no capp in 2007 why would the players ever agree to reinstating it in a later year. The fact that there might not be any football in 2008 makes me sick. Thanks a lot to all the !@#$s who might of just ruined the NFL.
  9. And I thought I was the only one who called him Choad Williams
  10. F*ck Bruce, when I was in high school I worked at place called Country Club Carwash. We had a deal where we washed all the Rams and Cardinals cars for free (even retired players and managment, Ozzie Smith & Charlie Army etc.). My job was a greeter, meaning I asked what type of wash they wanted and recorded in a computer. We weren't supposed to bother athletes but were certainly allowed to welcome them to the carwash and say hello. One Monday after Bruce had a really good game he came in to get his car wash, all I said to him was "good game yesterday", his response "Don't talk to me about the game". I was a seventeen year old kid at the time and a huge fan of the NFL, what an ass! And he never tipped anyone, ever. Tory Holt, Ozzie Smith, and Trent Green are some of the nicest and most aproachable athletes I have ever encountered but the same can not be said about Bruce. He's a total Choad. Anyway that has nothing to do with his football ability and IMO he is a much better option than Givens or Bryant if he can be had at a decent price. Just don't expect to fall in love with his antics or his attitude.
  11. Lewis is a joke who might be able to turn himself into a quality back up if he works his ass off. Pickett shows flashes of being able to play at a high level but seems to take a lot of plays off. Word around here is that Pickett is looking for a contract worth about $20 mil., so I'll go ahead and pass on him (sorry JOKEMAN). Neither one of these guys has lived up to their potential, who is to say they would finally do it in Buffalo?
  12. The uncapped year in 2007 would not be good for our Bills. I'm so sick of hearing about this sh*t, hopefully they get this thing done by tonight.
  13. who the hell wants Frerotte?
  14. Bring him back Marv!
  15. He's really making the rounds. Rome asked him about the CBA for a while and then got to his injury. Says he did some running today, said his injury is coming along well-- a lot less swelling and it's way ahead of schedule. Said he is lacking that "explosion" in his drills but that is only because he's been having to hold him self back a little in attempt not to rush things. Still says he's coming back BIGGER, FASTER, STRONGER. I sure as hell hope so, Takeo is by far my favorite Bill.
  16. This is exactly how I feel about this situation. If we do go after Bunckley instead we could probably pick up a few more picks by trading down in the first.
  17. 40 times don't really mean anything for DTs, In all honesty I kind of want Bunckley after his combine. I say we attempt to trade down and pick up an extra second rounder and draft Bunckley in the first.
  18. Very true, with contracts only being able to be offered for 4 years with no CBA, NFL GMs can't do their traditional backloading of contracts. You guys interested in any Jets, Skins, or Raiders? Who else is way over the cap?
  19. I don't care about his damn forty time but that seems like its the only info posted about his combine workout. However, I would love to know how many reps of 225lbs he got.
  20. No sh*t, for what ans4e6e initially said he's taken a lot of heat. And for being a moderator, Simon should take his personal crusade somewhere else. As for ans4e6e, the whole point of the post was to make people realize that some people in this world (Hali) have come from EXTREMELY bad circumstances (much worse than some neighborhood in North Philly) and have overcome this adversity. For that they should be commended. Cmon ans4e6e, I enjoy reading your post about the draft (very knowledgable and insightful) a lot more than this crap. Everyone involved in the whole argument sounds like a bunch of little whiny b*tches, we really don't need anymore internet tough guys

Virginia 38½ A 4.4 forty with an ELEVEN FOOT broad jump! This kids only 220lbs and I don't know a damn thing about him besides what I've posted. With that speed and leaping ability he might be a good safety project (ala Michael Boulaware) or might be able to bulk up a little and play OLB, who knows just pretty impressive. Michael Huff had a pretty good day of workouts as well.
  22. I thought Snyder was one of the five that was holding this thing up and wouldn't agree to revenue sharing for the new deal. I must be wrong, it sounds like the Skins are all types of screwed if this thing doesn't get done.
  23. John Clayton of ESPN is reporting Vince Young's agent says he got a score of 16 on the Wonderlic not a 6. The more I research the sources that claim he got a six, none seem to be able to verify this 100%, almost every source used a word like allegedly or rumored. However Mack Brown and the owner of the Texans are the ones who seem to be backing the fact that Young got a 16. I smell a rat; I think there is something to the reports of such a low score of 6.
  24. Well Pickett thinks he's worth a lengthy deal worth about $20 million dollars, so be prepared to pay for his mediocore ability
