I say we would still draft a tackle and an interior lineman and it would be good not to throw them right into the fire. This would also be good for Preston, I'm not sure if he's ready to be a full time starter, but who better to show him the ins and outs of the position than someone like Mawae. Same scenario for Runyan being able to help develop an up and commer in Jason Peters (and possibly a young draft pick). I would be very happy with this line and it would be pretty cost effective.

In all honesty I still don't think that he is that big of a reach even at 8, he might even jump ahead of Ngata on some draft boards by the time the draft actually roles around. If you have NFL network, NFL total access is just starting and they highlight all the DTs and DEs in the draft, Bunckley is freaking monster. Check out how fluid he is in his movements and 44 reps of 225 on the bench is pretty fugging impressive.

I could see it happening, Bunkley had a great year last year and was a freak at the combine...super strong. I woudn't mind trading down with a team like St. Louis and trying to pick up an extra second, just have to find the right partner. IMHO he might turn out to be the better pro, although they are two differernt types of DT.

Frez is right about the tackling, he's got to start getting lower than that or he's going to get run over a lot at the next level. Besides that though, this kid is a PLAYMAKER and looks pretty damn explosive on the field. The tackling can be fixed in my opinion, if there is one thing Nate and TM did exceptionally well this year it was tackle and help in run support and I think Huffs tackling can be corrected. All in all, pretty impressive but so was the Vernon Davis Video. As I've said before, we have so many holes on this team, I'd be happy with Ngata, Davis, Huff, or trading down and taking Bunckley or Hali (and picking up at least another 2nd).

Take it from someone who is forced to watch almost every Rams game: both Pickett and Lewis are overrated!! Pickett is much better than D. Lewis but thinks he's worth a $20 mil. contract, I don't want either....we should have kept SA.

Hate to say it, but he seemed to kind of show his age in response to his no vote. Said it was just to complicated for him to understand in the short amount of time . I'm sure they will replay it over and over again on ESPNNEWS.
