  1. They increase the prices darn near every year, so no big deal, but they're timing sure does suck.
  2. TD would not have recognized Big Ben for the QB that he is and would not have selected him anyway.
  3. If we are making up theories, how about this one... The trainer accidentally mixed up a cortazone shot for Losman's shoulder with estrogen. Now it really doesn't affect JP's play, but Trey Teague is afraid to have him walk up behind him.
  4. No more marching bands at half time.
  5. I was talking to a friend of mine a couple of years ago about EM. My friend is not a Bills fan BTW. He said that he "didn't think EM was that good because he had to be standing still to catch the ball." That comment stuck in my head as I watched him play from then on. I found it to be not so true as the fact that he just doesn't run that many 9 routs. He has run a couple this year, one for a TD, but still most of his catches he is standing still or just cruising not sprinting. Is this just the type of receiver he is?
  6. Open competition at QB? I don't know. I don't like it. If you want to bring in a new QB fine, but then dump JP. I shutter when I even think about the QB carousel of Flutie-Johnson. Personally I like JP. (of coarse I like toe jam). But there's something about the guy that makes me feel like he's getting it. I'd go with him as the starter next year.
  7. Now this I agree with. (Don't know if that says much about me or not) But when MW was healthy last year he was a road grader. If we could get him to re-do his contract for next year, I'd be willing to switch Peters to the left side and put Mike back at the right.
  8. I just can't see how any of our OL men are worth keeping. Think hard about this. If you were GM of any one of the playoff contending teams, and all of our OL were FA's who would you honestly pursue? I say playoff contending because that's the first plateau of a good team. And if you are the GM for say Houston, San Fran, or us, you take what you can get. I know we can't 86 the whole OL, but let's face it we are not going to get to the playoffs next year if we have to keep any of these guys as starters. The argument of keeping CV, & JP doesn't fly with me at all. If they were worth keeping why wouldn't we be running to the right all day long behind these guys? The other 3 guys Don't ask me how we fix this mess, but I wouldn't be against us drafting and FAing only OL and DL guys. But we won't we'll get "the best person on the board" and be able to boast that we have "One of the best LBs corps" or "Lot's of RB depth".
  9. OL = 5 Player's DL = at least 2 Player's SS FS Corner EM replacement 1 TE assuming Everett is OK. If not then 2. That's 12 player's over 1/2 the starting line-up. Yep we're in great shape!
  10. What I don't get is, if he was suspended because he had not practiced all week, then anyone who is dinged-up and sits out the week, should not play Sunday and not get paid either. Probable and doubtful should no longer be a medical status for Bill's players. Just In or Out.
  11. What about the other games in which he did play in the second half, and they went no where. This team just does not perform in the second half, with or without EM. So using the Miami game to gauge the other receivers is moot.
  12. After cutting EM, MW, trading WM, and get rid of anyone else with an M in thier initials, we spend our first 5 picks all on TE's. We convert them all to OL and win the SB by using a new offense based solely on the tackle eligable play.
  13. I love reading The stadium wall's threads but rarely make my option know. But here is my 2 cents about EM. Over the past 10 years he has been my favorite player, so saying this is not easy. I have notice that EM seems to be covered like peanut butter on bread all season long, except for when a DB falls down. (See final minutes of Panthers game). I believe he's frustrated with the teams play to the point he has been lackluster in his play. Losing gets to be a habit and even the best of can become content with collecting a paycheck. I believe MM has seen this too, hence the "benching/whatever". Picture yourself as a HC with a vet you think isn't giving 100% all the time. Especially a player who has been there longer than you have. But if you want to maintain control of the team you would have to be tough. I also believe that when MM gave into the demands for a QB change earlier in the season, it hurt his position as the HC. Once the inmates start running the asylum it's hard to regain control. Bottom line is I feel MM needs one more year to regain his teams respect. I will be saddened to see EM leave but I will be watches as he career is rejuvenated with another team (hopefully in the NFC South so we won't have to play against him anytime soon). OK beat me up, spit on me, and give me reasons not to post again. But I'll keep reading. Bottom line is I feel MM needs one more year to regain his teams respect. 14. The MM is saving his running ability for the playoffs. We still have a shot you know. We wouldn't want to give away our secrete weapon too soon.
  15. He can, but our receivers can only run 2 yard out patterns, so it's really a moot point.
  16. At this point, Jason Peters could start at QB. Would we notice?
  17. Way to go coach. You just made your "rookie" QB the scapegoat for the failures of the whole team. Why not bench the the O-line and D-line they're the ones who have been playing with thier heads up the #$%.
  18. Philly lost last night because they were not playing as a team. They acted like a bunch of players that did not care what the other players on their team was doing. Case in point was the TD by Westbrook. The WR made a nice block to help him into the end zone but after the play just shook his head and walked away. I'm not sure who the WR was but all I know is that if it was the Bills the players would be congratulating each other not looking discussed.
  19. Does anyone else think Haddad is a Steve Largent clone?
