  1. I was thinking the same thing, but only for like the first series or so. Let him to get over the "jitters". Anything worth a try.
  2. Does anyone know what the most rookies to start for the Bills during a season? I have know idea and no clue as to how to find out, but it would be interesting to see how the "best" draft compairs to the 2006 (so far).
  3. I agree! I'm not saying how many games we will win, but I do think by the end of the season, teams will start hating to play us. It seems that "normally" (if there is such a thing in the NFL) a team on the rise starts toward the end of a season, and the next season they really come together. I can see this happening if we don't play the shell game with the QBs.
  4. So we draft defense well, but need work on our OL evaluations. I was kind of hoping one of them would help out our depth there.
  5. Our top 5 picks in this years draft are all looking pretty good. Whitner, McCargo, Youboty, Simpson, & Williams have all looked impressive. That either says that we had a great draft or the talent level from last year's team was pretty bad to start out with. Or Both. I like to believe the draft was great. Prop to the Bills FO. But what about the last 4 draft picks, Bulter, Ellison, Pennington, & Merz? Have any of those guys shown flashes of making the team?
  6. Oh man you suck! Now I have to go back and watch the whole first half over again! Super post! Can't wait to read next weeks!
  7. LT couldn't run behind our O-line.
  8. I was at the game. The one thing I was seeing early in the game (up until half time) was that our receivers were not getting separation from the DB's. How can you have that much speed and not get open? My son who was also at the game with me said he saw one of the receivers standing still as JP was getting pressured. My son is not a big x's and o'x guy, so for him to notice that it had to be bad. He did not know number of the player. Our seats were hanging from the clouds.
  9. If he survives! That's DJ's logic. Put Holcomb in against a D that he hopes answers the question for him. Should we take up a collection for flowers?
  10. Let's make Brian Morman the starting QB, Rian Lindel the back-up, and Mike Schneck the 3rd string. At least we can save 3 roster spots. I have as much confidence in them as I do any other QB we have right now. I sure someone steps up soon!!!!!
  11. ESPN merges with WE and and becomes the first all women sports network. Programming manager orders all employees to wear a dress. Everyone except John Clayton quits. The Bills clone Jason Peters and he now starts at all positions on the offense except TE.
  12. Oh we're better. Last year we were pathetic, and this year we're only going to be horrible.
  13. Evans Reed Davis Nance Akien Parrish IMO Price's river has dried up.
  14. Amen, Amen, and Amen!
  15. I see how I have proved your point. I also have the same opinion of Edgeran James. This was before he left for AZ. If I would have said that about him on this board I may have gotten a response but nothing so drastic. Edge is a great RB but he stated he was in it for the $, and left for AZ. The Cards are going to be a much inproved team, but let's face it, right now his best chance of getting a ring was with Indy. I know that $ attracts all the players. But if that is your only motivation for playing, then I feel your teams chances for a SB become limited. I hope I am all wrong about WM and he sucessful with the Bills for a long time!
  16. Oh good lord! Stop trying to make more out of what I’m saying that what is being said! NEVER did I say the Bills suck, or will suck in anyway shape or form! Never did I say WM sucks in anyway shape or form, other than saying I believe him to be self-absorbed. He comes across to ME as someone who is more interested in his own fortune and fame, than he is at getting the Bills (or any other team) to the SB. If he was on another team I’d still get that impression from him. Does that mean I don’t like him playing for the Bills? No, it doesn’t mean that! Does that mean that I think he’s not going to play hard for the Bills? No because even if he is self-absorbed that wouldn’t benefit him. I think he is a very good RB, and could be a great one. Do I think his attitude could affect the team? Yes, it could. Will it? No one knows. Maybe it was the TO comment I made, or something else that set this off, but you are way off base if you think I’m the type who cries doom and gloom all the time. Jeesh!
  17. Oh I'm sorry! Is this better. We have such a wonderful team. The offense is just a scoring machine thanks to our superior o-line and great quarterbacking. And our defense... I just dare anyone to try to run against us. It going to be a great year as we become the second undefeated team in NFL history. Get a grip. First off, I didn't know WM was the team. Second I never said that WM wasn't a good RB. I was saying I believe WM doesn't play this game to get a team win. He plays to promote himself. You can not tell me that he doesn't and I can not tell you he does. But I can tell you that that's how he come across to me. Lastly family can talk about family. Just don't let someone outside the family say something about us!
  18. But does good team chemistry make players look talented? Or does a coach's proper use of a players physical tools make him appear talented? There must be a gazillion cases of players who looked great while playing for a certain team, left for the money, and fell off the map because they were not as good as their teammates or system made them seem. Hence the converse must also be true. A talented player playing on a bad team will appear bad also. The Daniel Snyder Redskins (before Gibbs) are my example of... you can't buy a championship, because you can't buy team chemistry. Note: I detest that guy. Snyder not Gibbs.
  19. Hmm? I could have sworn I said that Willis was better than Gates? I am not questioning his physical ablity at all. I just think TEAMS win games. To have a team to you need team players. I'm question weather he is one or not.
  20. I'm not saying Willis wasn't miss quoted, god know the media never makes mistakes, but it's funny how they all were quoting him saying that the week we played SanDeigo. Also the NFL network was asking every player they talked to that week about the WM statement. So somehow the whole country has gotten it out of context. I wasn't there to hear his exact quote but that's what the media is suppose to be for, right? The Lionel Gates senerio was an example to work my point from. I do not think Gates will ever be the RB that Willis is. But ask yourself, do you think Willis would be a "team player" and do anything the coaches ask of him even if it is taking a back seat to someone else? Maybe I'm in the minority here but I'd rather route for someone who has the team's interest in mind. Because I wish to see the Bills be sucessful not just the Bills RB. So as much as you wish to sway my opion of WM, my impression of him will stand until he proves to me otherwise. And as a Bills fan I sure hope he does!
  21. I'm not sure any of us know weather WM is a me guy or not. Only his teammates can say. But he did make 2 quotes that has me wondering. The first was when he was asked about continuing playing for the Bills he responded by saying "If they pay me" The second was his self-proclaimed "I'm the best back..." I have to admire his confidence, and we'd all like to get paid better, but those sound like TO type comments to me. To me a team player is one who will do whatever the coaches ask of them. If they asked Willis to be strictly a blocking back for Gates, WM next comment might sound like "Trade me!" I may be way off the mark with him, I hope I am, but he hasn't done much publicly to endear himself to the fans that believe "team" is the key work in any subject.
  22. I was wondering how quick someone would pick up on that. Thanks for the save!
  23. Roscoe Parish will wound a wing while standing on a Gatorade bucket to reach the top shelf of his locker. A TE will end up on IR before the end of camp. Marv will sign another no name free agent and proclaim him a viable starter. WM will be the first RB to gain 2000 yards in one season and still not make the pro bowl. In a statement WM remarks "I owe it all to training at the "U". Both the yardage and the bad PR from not showing up for OTAs." The special teams and defense will out score the offense by a 2:1 ratio. After game 6, Kliff Kingsbury takes over as the starting QB, and lights up the NFL, unfortunately he breaks his leg prior to the playoffs in a motorcycle accident. Prompting the NFL to ban all motorcycle riding on snow covered roads. JP Losman has his team up by 4 points with 7 seconds to go on the road in Denver for a wild card game. That's the way the game ends. Unfortunately for Bills fans he was traded to Denver before the start of the season. Finally and most prophetic... I predict all my prediction will be bogus.
