  1. He's holding out because he wants Chris Kelsay's jersey number.
  2. I agree the Saints shouldn't pay him. We should! Git er done Buddy!
  3. I'm NOT very high on Young, but he's better than Thigpen which isn't saying much. I've never been a fan of the wildcat and the Brad Smith project either. I could see the Bills cutting Thigpen and Smith and either Corp or Tanny makes the roster as #3. The Gix or if you prefer Nailey era has not had a developemental QB yet.
  4. Lugoff, SC (Near Columbia) Originally from Brocton, NY Home of the green arches. (Next town west of Fredonia)
  5. Our D-line is much improved on paper. But Mario is coming off an injury, and is new to our team. Often a change of scenery for a players can have poor results as well as good. I'm not saying this will happen, all I'm saying is it's a question mark. As far as Kelsay, Johnson, Edwards, Carrington goes, I just don't expect much from them. Right now I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm a huge Gamecock fan, so getting Gilmore was a pleasant surprise for me. I expect him to be great, but you just don't know until he hits the field. So hence the question mark. The team made great moves this off season, but so did the Eagles last year and the Redskins every year. I'm not saying we are them, but you don't win games on paper alone. Until they show it on the field all positions except RB and Safety are suspect.
  6. It would be easier to list which position don't need an upgrade. RB, Safety, and MAYBE D-line. All the other positions have either question marks or just need upgrades. Hopefully some young guys will step up this year and the list of positions not needing upgrades will become longer than the ones that do.
  7. Gilmore is kind of a quiet and reserve guy. Smart and a high character guy. He was a starter year 1 in college and played against some of the best WRs in the SEC. He is definately NOT Mckelvin 2.0. In fact he's kind of the exact opposite. He also was the wildcat QB and did some return work also. Maybe we can save the roster spot and 86 Brad Smith. You guys can rag on him if you want too, and he might not be the ticket seller first round pick, but he's going to help our team alot! Maybe he was dissappointed to be drafted by the Bills, so lets NOT welcome him and make his disappointment justified. I may be in the minority, but I am seriously glad we did not get Floyd.
  8. Floyd. He'll be nothing more than say 2nd tier receiver. I predict Hill, Jeffery, and Streeter will all have as good a career.
  9. The only way they should consider drafting Barron is if they plan on moving Byrd to CB (which I'm not sure he can do) and moving Wilson to FS. Barron is a SS. Flo makes too manny dumb mistakes, McGee is always hurt, not sold YET on Williams, and McKelvin is crap. Wilson and Byrd are our 2 best DBs. Taking one off the field seems senseless. Otherwise this is CJ Spiller all over again. (Part time player selected in the Top 10)
  10. It would be nice to know what we get for the trade.
  11. Brandon Weeden. Now that would be a surprise!
  12. Ah got it thanks!
  13. LB, WR, T, CB, T, QB, WR, DE, CB, DE/LB
  14. Why do you think he has ruled out LB?
  15. Yes but Jackson was a second round pick. The risk of getting an impact player there is less.
  16. I'd be interested in knowing which GM's have called him about trades.
  17. Sounds like we won't be taking a WR at #10
  18. Gilmore was also a return guy and a wildcat QB while at SC. Wouldn't it be nice to save Brad Smith's roster spot for someone who may actually contribute?
  19. If pot is not addictive then why can't Jenkins give it up? Yeah it may not have the physical addiction that alcohol does but it does have a mental addiction. Why else would all these athletes risk so much money to smoke it? Something is pushing them.
  20. My pick is Andrew Luck. He won't be there at 10 but 1/2 the guys being picked won't either. Kuechly, Floyd, Blackmon, I doubt any will be there. So since there is no limit... I pick Luck. Now who I think we'll end up with is Reiff. For lack of a better term "a boring pick".
  21. Regardless of your stance on pot, it is still illegal and against the NFL drug policy. He'll be watched like a hawk with his rep. A suspended or in jail player is a useless one.
  22. 1. Kelsay, McKelvin, Troop, and Carrington are all shown the door in the first round of cuts. 2. Stevie gets another 1000 yard season and asks for another raise. 3. Rian Lindell and Brian Morman start a knitting class on the sidelines because of boredom. The new offensive game plan is TD or nothing. 4. Buffalo will approve the building of a new stadium downtown and breaks ground just months before the team moves. 5. The teams moves to Duck NC which allows the Bills to retain their nickname and become the Duck Bills.
  23. I think I'd rather have Stephon Gilmore. He seems just as talented and has zero red flags.
