  1. If Lynn has his own offense (and he believes it's better) and he is not implementing it, he should be fired right now. If you believe next year Lynn will make whole sale changes to the offense and it will allow Taylor to preform better and he is not doing it now? Then thanks a lot Lynn for not doing everything possible to help us win now. The more logical reason is Taylor is not suited for any other offense than what they are running, and this offense is not good enough win in the NFL and therefore Taylor is not good enough.
  2. I like Whaley, but if he has to go to get rid of Rex then bub bye. This is a passing league and Rex wants nothing to do with passing because he is clueless on how a pass first O is suppose to work. Over this year of this drought we've has the #1 special teams, #1 defense, and now for the last 2 years we've had one of the best ranked running team. What have we not had is a highly ranked passing team. The closest we've been was with Bledsoe which is the closest we've been to the playoffs in 17 years. The sad part is I don't think Rex would throw the ball even if Brady was our QB he is that dedicated to running it.
  3. We'd still end up passing it on first and second down at the 4 yard line.
  4. Not to get too in depth with this, but a great coach can decrease the percentage of the QB, but not by enough too change it's importance. The point of my post was to try and put a number on the importance of the QB. Do you think Belichick would take this team to the playoff? I think he could, but he most likely would replace our QB ASAP. I also believe that if Rex had a top 10 PASSING QB this team would be in the playoffs. To defend your opinion I think the days of winning with the run is over, and if Rex cannot change then he should go.
  5. To ME, the QB is 50% of the reason for winning or losing, while the other 50% is distributed between other players, and coaches. So if you have a great QB and say average everything else (25%) you a 75% chance of winning. Does this make sense to anyone else? So stop trying to fix the problem the hard way by improving everything else and get a QB.
  6. 2-0 Bills. The team with the least amount of negative yards wins.
  7. This thread is about your opinion on Tyrod Talyor not on the Bills TEAM's performance yesterday. Yes the whole team failed, but this thread is about the future of TT. TT is Rob Johnson with better escape ability. So scared to throw the INT he just doesn't throw the ball at all. He will not throw the ball unless the guy is wide open, and cannot throw them open. He cannot to win a game when the running game is shut down. He is good, just not good enough.
  8. I do not have much to complain about with TT. My 1 knock, and I saw it again yesterday, is he does not throw the ball unless the guys is wide open. He was rolling to his right and there were 2 receivers rolling with him. Both had a step on the guy covering. TT just needed to throw the ball out in front of either one and it was a first down. Instead he ran it out of bounds for no gain.
  9. See Tyrod stay in there and take the hit.
  10. Taylor panics under even light pressure. He needs to let some fly and take the hit.
  11. Tanking is not necessary if we keep playing like this.
  12. @Baltimore W Jets W Arizona W @New England L @Los Angeles L San Francisco W @Miami W New England L @Seattle L @Cincinnati L Jacksonville W @Oakland L Pittsburgh L Cleveland W Miami W @Jets W 9-7 and this is my glass half full view.
  13. Sure no problem. He said he sat down because he won't support a country that "allows" the suppression of a race. So he was whining instead of doing something about it. So now he says he is going to take some kind of action now that he has make his statement. To me he called attention to himself first and now that he told the world "look at me" he going to take action. Just how it appears to me. On a sidebar: I find protest like this to be counter productive. Making people dislike you by protesting the flag is not going to get people to listen to you just hate you. Martin Luther King endeared himself to people and they followed him. Again JMHO.
  14. Kaep actions is like a child that whines that his room is dirty and sits down pouting in the middle because he doesn't want to clean it. Only after he gets all the attention from throwing a temper tantrum is he going to help clean it. Seems like a very self-absorbed move.
  15. SIgn a QB just to play a preseason game? Hmm.. Can we sign a whole team to play all of the preseason games while our normal roster watches from the sidelines? Maybe that should be our new developmental league?
  16. I've only has Direct tv back on (I had it turned off for a while) for 2 years. Called and got 10% discount on NFL ticket, one of my 4 boxes taken off my bill, and ShowTime free for 3 months with auto shut off. I did nothing special except call. They even redirected me to the proper people to talk too. Call, be polite, and take what they offer.
  17. It just sucks that Murphs time slot start right after practice ends. I enjoyed hearing play by play during practice.
  18. Our frig has a problem with the cold.
  19. MY draft dream is we trade with either Az or Denver so they can take Lynch. That way we don't have the temptation to draft him and the Jets cannot.
  20. I'd rather have TT regress than stay the same. (I'd rather have him become a superstar and be able to relax for a change.) If he regresses then we know we have to get another QB. If he stays the same he becomes a coach killer IMO. He's the classic type. Flashes of brilliants but not enough to carry a team when it's needed. Even being a running team TT needs to be able to win games with his arm, produce 4th quarter come backs, and burn teams that stack the box. He needs to improve or we need to continue the search.
  21. I have to premise this with if I were a GM the only player I'd EVER trade up to get would be a QB. Sammy may be great someday, but losing picks is a cost that is too much for any WR IMO. So my answer is no.
  22. Trying to dodge national TV embarrassments for 16 year.
  23. Testing the blind squirrel theory for 16 years. This year we find that nut.
  24. We're not rebuilding we are re-fooling.
