for the bills to win the super bowl. I've always explained it to people out here on the west coast that if the bills or sabres win a championship it would be the same as everyone in, or from Buffalo winning the lottery.
I agree that fox sucks, the game last night was put together very poorly on the technical side.
however, they do broadcast all their games in hd, something that cbs doesn't do.
the best part about lee is that when he scores a touchdown he puts the ball down, runs over to the sideline and celebrates with his teammates for a job well done. he is one of the only wide recievers in the league that recognizes that it's a team effort to get down the field, and if it wasn't for the o-line giving time to the qb then he would never get the ball.
I wish there were more like him.
I agree 100%. The T.O. interview that Michael Irvin did on the sunday nfl countdown was horrible. We don't care about you T.O! You are an average receiever and you are annoying as hell! Shut up already!
we'll get some respect back today, but then they'll say, "it was just the lions"
at least we are getting some respect from major media outlets for the sabres!
Lets Go Buffalo!
yea, the sound sucked! I had to mute it during commercials because of the huge difference in volume. Also, I don't know which commentator it was, but when he said, "you know the saying, wide right" I had the urge to stab something.
I just got done watching the press conference and I have to say it makes me feel much better about the loss. Call me crazy, but I still have a lot of confidence in J.P. and the passion that he showed in the press conference is the reason why. I really hope that he can find the chemistry with his offense for 4 quarters rather than just 1 or 2.
GO BILLS!
I ordered direct tv and the sunday ticket before the season began. During week one they gave everyone a free week of superfan...thus, giving me 9 game in HD. I wasn't aware that you had to get the superfan to get more games in HD, so when week 2 came, and the bills game wasn't in HD (even though it was broadcast in HD) I was pissed. I called direct tv and they said you need to spend another $100 to get up to 9 games a week in HD. I made up a story that I was told I would be getting the games in HD when I signed up for the sunday ticket. They then offered it to me for $50. It's definitely worth it. The short cut games are very cool....watching a full game in 30 min.
But, the best part is the HD games.
Steve
How long have you been with direct tv? I'm only a new subscriber, so when I called about the sunday ticket, and complained that it was steep since I only want the HD games (not all the other bells and whistles) and they offered it to me for $50. I have read on other boards that if you have been with them a long time, and you call the retention folks at direct tv, they'll give it to you for free.
try it out.

I picked up a 37" panasonic plasma, and the sunday ticket from direct tv for the season because I live here in LA. I agree with you todd, it's very hard to watch a non-HD game after seeing one in HD. It's like you are on the field...amazing.
