  1. I don't know **** about football and this was evident to me 30 seconds into his pro career.
  2. Best thing I've read here in months.
  3. I thought Martin showed up on Special Teams, more so than Naaaaammmmaaaannnn. I understand your personal interest but 5th and 6th receivers need to be special teams studs and I don't think that is Roosevelt's forte.
  4. Umm...no.
  5. Which mean there is a zero percent chance of another team picking him up. I'm still somewhat mystified by all the Jasper man love. He's big...SFW...so was Andre the Giant.
  6. Paying Fitz the average salary of Brady, Manning, Brees, Vick and who ever else fills out the top 5 might not be fiscally responsible. I like the guy and all but I imagine they could get him for less than $15 million a year. :-)
  7. How hard is then vs. than? So many poster eff it up!!
  8. I'd be thrilled with 2-2 but expect 1-3 or 0-4.
  9. Fitz said (he's growing it out) it in a sideline interview last night.
  10. Did Jasper do anything in the first two games to warrant all the love? The one time I noticed him against the Jags he was being thrown down field like a bowling ball enabling him to recover the fumble 7 yards past the line of scrimmage. Maybe I'm wrong but calling him a project at this point would be a stretch. I'm rooting for the guy buy I can't see him making the cut. Everyone on the DL needs to contribute, they don't have the luxury of carrying a 400 lb feel good story.
  11. There isn't much I like less than trying to make predictions based on perceived value of each team. Every year half a dozen teams rise up an half a dozen teams go into the tank. It's anyone guess who those teams will be.
  12. I want to premise this with stating that I have not seen any of Saturday's game minus one hit on Donald Jones. Normally I'm pretty aligned with this line of thinking but things are at an all time low (for my lifetime anyway). Moats was one of a few bright spots last year. Why are would Chan ignore that? Fred Jackson continues to outpace CJ Spiller by leaps and bounds yet has to prove himself every play. The OL is a disaster. I don't harp on the OL as much as the typical poster but this camp and offseason have been real head scratchers. I really want to believe in this team and this front office but they make it increasingly harder and harder. I think Dareus was a move in the right direction. I think signing Merrimen and Barnett were both solid moves as well. I'm hoping for the best...
  13. Am I the only one who only has a clear image of deep throat as the one not intended in this post?
  14. Maybe he meant they are going to suck.
  15. I liked what I saw on Saturday. Real quick and athletic. The switch to safety means the Bills are as clueless as I am in figuring out what to do with him. I supposive they could put him on the Practice Squad.
  16. Not unless Eric Lindros, John LeClaire, and a rotation of a bunch of dudes with the #8 are playing on it.
  17. I doubt any sort of move will be made. I'm not sure if the guys in charge know or care what the fans think. While I don't hink the trade was the worst idea ever, it's getting harder and harder to feel like Buddy and Chan are on the right track. I was happy with the Barnett signing and the Dareus pick but the rest of the offseason has left me feeling pretty empty. I'm clinging to a shred of hope that these guys know what they are doing but it's hard to ignore the mess that is the Buffalo Bills right now.
  18. Thankfully the coaches wont bother.
  19. Maybe this is what he meant.
  20. ...and the legend of Jasper continues.
  21. Well, I do like gladiator movies.
  22. Yep I saw him last week. Every other DT on the roster looked more like a DT than him. Especially Dareus. I'm not saying he can't play DT, I'm just saying his body type doesn't fit the mold.
  23. In other words or in this case your exact words, we go nowhere.
  24. Normally I'd scoff at this idea but he seems to have more of an OL body than a DT type body. His torso is massive while his lower body is smaller by comparison. I always thought you wanted your DT to have a low center of gravity and he doesn't fit the bill. I'd you look at Wilfork and other dominant DT's their asses and thighs look like an elephants.
