  1. Would another team be that stupid?
  2. Hands down my favorite part of that story is the drawing of the lawn chair.
  3. Sounds like a real hoot
  4. I think the fact he got out of his car and chased him down was enough. What he was doing with his hands is irrelevant. I don't even think this is what happened but people seem as if they can't fathom how it could have happened.
  5. A young kid showing him up in an unprecedented and unfortunate manner?
  6. Well, being a former hot head, I can speak as an expert witness . Anger takes over certain people to the point of no control. I've been there, plenty. Stewart has seen his fair share of incidents where it's clear he has anger management issues. Someone like me or most likely TS, doesn't have the capability to rationalize what is happening in that moment. It's "I see red". Not saying that's what happened only that people can easily get to a place where all reasonable thought is vanquished.
  7. Didn't mean to ruffle a Nascar fans feathers but isn't Tony Stewart racing in these other races jeopardizing his career where he makes serious coin to provide for his family? Wouldn't that be like Mario Williams playing DE in a semi pro league on Saturdays? I should have been more respectful in my comments.
  8. Right. Some people think TS went out of his way to not avoid him. Even as far as to scare him a bit and intimidate him. I'm on the fence but Stewart's insatiable appetite for being angry has led people to a conclusion. Justifiably so or not. TS has been a bad dude with anger issues and confrontations his whole career. He lost the benefit of the doubt with his previous actions. I still don't think it will be a criminal case but Stewart has to live with his actions. For humanity's sake, I hope you are right. Which begs the question, is the good ol' boy network protecting TS? Why the hell is Stewart racing in these two bit events anyway? He has so much to lose and so little to gain. Is it ego, greed, or just some dumb hillbilly ****?
  9. Ward made a poor decision. Unless he confesses, no one will know what Stewart was thinking and if he was trying brush back Ward. If he was shame on him for being that reckless. That said, unless he incriminates himself, I don't see how it's criminal. Based on history, this level of shadiness doesn't seem too far fetched.
  10. What's Graham trade value? A bag of deflated footballs?
  11. He can't hang with Tpegs loot, fo sho.
  12. Do we know for certain that he is the majority owner of that group?
  13. So we're good here? Am I missing something?
  14. His point is valid, his supporting data flawed. What does any Bills team from the 90's or even 2005 have to do with today's squad, nothing. He should have on it gone back the last five years which is somewhat relevant. They haven't beat anyone of note on the road. Maybe EJ and Sammy are about to prove the world wrong but based on recent data, I don't like their chances.
  15. #itwasfredsturn
  16. This might be the first ever would ya thread where I wouldn't. Yikes!
  17. Never enough to make me tune out, he's just got a very black and white way of seeing things. That and being an over the top Yankee fan.
  18. Not sure what the vitriol is about. I would love to break down WGR's content and programming. I think across the board the station does a poor job delving deep into either sport. It's usually just broad general discussion points. Capaccio, who rubs me the wrong way sometimes, is the only on air person they have with any sort of football knowledge. Bulldog is fine with his Everyman persona and Schopp should be relegated to the hobby and a weekend 4am slot to talk tennis. Buscalia tries real hard but he doesn't know much about the game. Don't get me started on Paul Hamilton. Just a waste, the fact that he was and still is a football "analyst" is a travesty. Not sure what the vitriol is about. 19. Why is It any more absurd to be taking hockey in July vs Football? The Sabres had actual players in camp and they were discussing it. The Bills were literally just arriving at camp. We're they supposed to break down who had the biggest flat screen or hottest whip at training camp? I think since the OP all I've heard on WGR is football talk minus the 2 hours a day set aside for hockey.
  20. Tragic. Speaking of workplace accidents, I work in the middle of dozens of stainless steel tanks full of hundreds of thousands of gallons of high proof alcohol. I'm running toward the flames, not away.
  21. I haven't posted who I want them to pick in any forum as I don't want to create any bad JuJu.
  22. I've heard Reinhart compared to Toews quite a bit but never Kane. Reinhart isn't flashy or explosive like Kane. More of a thinking man's player.
