  1. I know this has been brought up before but I can't muster up any emotions for celebrity tragedies. Bad things happen to everyone and to single out someone because he/she is famous just feels contrived. I don't know these people, they don't know me, why should I care?
  2. Heap will get hurt, count on it.
  3. I don't care about rings. Gimme Favre any day of the week over Kelly, Marino, Manning, Brady or anyone else not named Elway.
  4. You mean the Bills fifth string RB?
  5. What am I supposed to do, keep my non-pro Bills to myself?
  6. I don't see what is wrong saying Brett Favre is better than Jim Kelly, Todd Collins, Doug Flutie, Kelly Holcomb, JP Losman, Rob Johnson, Drew Bledsoe, Billy Joe Hobert, Frank Reich, Travis Brown, Joe Ferguson, and who ever else has played QB in the last 20 years (the amount of time I've been watching the team). Jim was great and all, I just consider him a notch below Brett. As far as saying we would be in contention for the division with Brett, I'll stand by that. He wouldn't have gotten us more than the 150 yards a game we are averaging? Not to mention how much better MacGahee would be without the safeties stacking the line.
  7. Did EM moms really say "titty-baby whinning"?
  8. I see we have the same feelings about salespeople. I really loathe car dealers. I can feel their slimey like ooze in the air when I walk onto the lot. When your job entails putting the screws to your customers, you are officially an a-hole.
  9. Brett hasn't looked great at times this year but he's still a lot better than anyone I've ever seen in Buffalo, including #12. This year, he has no O-line, no D and a team that apparently that has mailed it in. If Brett was QB of Buffaro this year, they would be in contention for the division. That being said, if Brett really wants to help out the pack, he'll go to the GM and ask to be traded to a good team in need of a QB. They could use the extra pick or two.
  10. I know it's not the "official" site but have you checked out sabresreport.com, which you can access right through this forum?
  11. I thought McGahee wasn't a problem.
  12. The problem with tending bar is that you need experience or an "in" to get a bar tending job.
  13. I get the impression you are in your early to mid 20's. I was in similar situations when I was that age. I worked pretty crappy jobs until I was 27. I broke down and went to the local manufacturer and took a manual labor job despite have a Bachelors in Business. Well six years later I have more than doubled my salary and work in the offices. I guess the point of my story is that sometimes it's better knowing where you stand even if it's in a big pile of dookie.
  14. $9600? Do you have bills? If that was my pay I would have to start robbing people at ATM's. Does your job include selling expensive 50lb vaccuum cleaners? How about water systems?
  15. Atleast we agree on something.
  16. Outside of Ogden and R. Lewis where the Hell is their $ going? I think it's time to google. Be back shortly.
  17. Water in the tank will though.
  18. All the dealings I've seen with them make them out to be a complete ripoff.
  19. Her mother wouldn't let me hold her down face in the pillow like before. p.s. in case it matters it was a traffic violation
  20. You mean like yesterday when i was in court (a violation that I won't specify) and the person i was stting next to decided to let her kid scream incessantly for 40 min.
  21. I guess he decided the "get liquored up til you can't see, try and talk to her and make an ass out of yourself" approach. It always worked for me. (not in actually winning over the woman, just to put an end to the fantasy)
  22. Just a quick thought. I don't get the Mom's take. If I were insensitive enough to do what her daughter did my mother would never defend my reprehensible actions. I've done plenty of stupid things in my lifetime and never did I get "it's okay honey, I love you and will support any moronic thing you do."
  23. In that case the all important apostraphe would be necessary. McGahee's beef. Also in response to a later post, six pounds would make a HUGE difference in that thread.
  24. To take this a step farther, does running the K-gun equate into a good coach? The offense relied on a pass catching RB, stretch the field TE (to work optimally) and sure handed recievers to create mismatches with the opposing D. This doesn't sound like the making of an offensive genious. Just my moronic opinion.
