  1. You are watching to see the weather? I think that is the complete opposite point of this thread.
  2. linky NSWF...unless small pictures of naked boobies are permitted at work. My favorite is the last one.
  3. I desperately wanted to put Jigga on the list but I couldn't pick any one song. That would have been a good one though.
  4. Rapper's Delight IS what started it all but by no means would I consider it the best song ever. Perhaps, most influential or groundbreaking. Jst MHO.
  5. It was one of the last three cut.
  6. Cypris Hill
  7. I love all these songs. I think I'm voting for G thing, but Kurtis Blow is right behind.
  8. I just saw a Matisyahu video. WTF?
  9. My wife and I just started watching DVD's of season 1. (we didn't join in until the end of that season) It is the weirdest sensation going between this season and season 1. So much of it crosses over, you feel like you are watching the same season. Anywho, I guess we will be able to watch the rest of season 1 now.
  10. Which NWA do you like the most? Obviously Dre was the Brains of the outfit with the producing. EZ was the self proclaimed $ man who supposedly fronted tons of jack, which he aquired from slanging rocks. Cube and Ren could just straight up ryhme while DJ yella threw down some dope beats.
  11. Hey I like OBD, he's just a freak. RZA might be the best of the WU clan, but it wasn't ODB.
  12. I think their are 3 or 4 ground breaking song throughout rap's history and "G thang" has to be # 1 or 2. Snoop's mellow rhymes really opened up a whole new genre or rap. He wasn't just spitting on the mike, it was melodic and rhythmic.
  13. To me the quinticental list goes something like this: Jay-Z NAS Snoop LL Cool J Ice Cube Ice-T Biggie Tupac Chuck D Kurtis Blow Slick Rick Ludacris Eminem Doug E Fresh I know I'm forgetting a lot of Old School Stuff...
  14. I think a little homage to NWA(I know ez & dre are there) but Ice Cube was the second best in the Quartet. MC Ren was better than Cube, EZ and Dre. Speaking of Dre, he is a great producer and beat creator, not so good with the flow.
  15. What the hell are foxy brown and Nelly doing on the list?
  16. No LL? Ladies Love Cool James
  17. ODB is a joke. I don't even think he takes himself seriously. If it's anyone from WU it's gotta be Method Man. I like everyone on the list. It was close between Snoop and Biggie. 50 cent seems like a thugged out version of Brittany Spears. Too much vanity, not enough flow.
  18. No sick days. No personal days. I accrue 2.25 hours of vacation per 40 hours worked. ...and I consider myself to have a good a job. Maybe just not the best benefits. We also are forced to take vacation when things shut down or we don't get paid.
  19. Bodie Miller is a loud mouth drunk who can't keep his mouth shut. Maybe I was stretching with the free country stuff but WTF, they don't owe the NFL anything.
  20. Ummm...no. Every pivotal call in the game went against Seattle. A team can over come one or two horrilbe calls, but when every drive is thwarted by bogus calls, it raises a red flag in my book. Did Seattle screw up? Plenty. Could they have won the game if just one of those plays goes their way? Absolutely. Pittsburgh played as poorly as I've seen a SB winner play. Seattle won nearly every statistical category except for bull sh-- calls going their way.
  21. After reading through this entire thread I am starting to understand why I don't see eye to eye with many people at TSW. Last time I checked, this was a free country and former NFL QB's can do as they please. The ceremony was unspectacular as best. The SuperBowl has turned into a giant whore suckling the teat of the world for all the jack they can cram into their pockets. That being said, this is America and if you want to cheapen your event with parlor tricks and theatrics go right ahead. Everyone seems to deify anyone and anything to do with the Superbowl. It's a freaking football game.
  22. did you google "big rack"?
  23. They were the only players he mentioned by name.
