  1. I'll try and actually respond to this. Did you want the Bills to shell out $100 million dollars of backloaded contracts, rendering the team useless and inept in 3 years because they were players that you heard of? If that is the case, root for the Redskins. They seem to be throwing $ at everyone that anyone has ever heard of. After that, they still don't seem that good.
  2. Hopefully our QB, will be able to get them the ball.
  3. Boeheim is on Jim Rome @ 12:30.
  4. WTF, I thought he was going to Denver.
  5. Thank you for bringing sense to this thread.
  6. His production might have been average but what does that have to do with his talent. JP and Kelly aren't exactly Peyton and Brady. If Moulds go elsewhere, I think he fares well.
  7. Sure, but do you think he is below average. He may not be a top 10 reciever anymore but I would consider him atleast above average.
  8. I apologize if this has already been brought up but I was wondering if anyone agreed with this assesment. Aaron Schatz / FootballOutsiders.com Posted: 2 days ago Buffalo Bills Adventures in Self-Delusion What about veteran wide receiver Eric Moulds? Moulds did not see eye to eye with the previous Bills regime, even getting suspended for a game during the 2005 season. His numbers have dropped in recent years, and he has an absurdly high cap figure of $10.85 million. The team asked him to take a pay cut, and he refused. The team planned on releasing him and moving on. But the new CBA changes things, and the team could theoretically keep Moulds under the new, higher cap. But why would they want to? Moulds' "personal advisor," Greg Johnson, told the Buffalo News that "We believe Eric is a top-10 talent at his position, and he should be paid that way." Two questions: what is a "personal advisor" anyway, and who is this guy trying to fool? Our advanced stats at Football Outsiders have ranked Moulds as a below-average receiver for three straight seasons; check out the 2005 numbers, and you'll find Moulds way down, ranked 56th in DPAR (Defense-adjusted Points Above Replacement) out of 89 receivers thrown at least 40 passes. Of course, poor quarterbacking can be partially blamed for Moulds' decline, but it is clear Moulds is no longer the best receiver on his team, let alone one of the top 10 in the entire NFL or even the AFC. (For fun, here's a list of 10 AFC receivers who are clearly better than Moulds, in random order: Hines Ward, Marvin Harrison, Deion Branch, Chad Johnson, Rod Smith, Randy Moss, Chris Chambers, Reggie Wayne, Eddie Kennison and teammate Lee Evans.)
  9. If you haven't heard of Robert Royal, you need to watch more football. He may not be a household name, but he's a solid NFL vet that most knowledgable football fans are aware of.
  10. Randle El is the only one making any $, or any good for that matter. BTW, he's not $50 million good.
  11. When I saw the promos for the show, the only thing I could think was that the white dad they tried to make look black ended up looking middle eastern. I thought they could have found a family that had more race nuetral features, instead of a dorky white guy with a pointy nose.
  12. Dude, you are thinking about this too much. Can you even enjoy the show while all these theories are racing through your head? I take most of it at face value and let the chips fall where they may. p.s. Did you view the beach scene frame by frame to "examine" the "frames"?
  13. I feel stupid and illogical responding to this but i feel the need to point out that the Texans have been openly shopping the top pick and could draft Ferguson a few spots down the rung after this supposed trade.
  14. I think if you insert Clements in place of Greer, you might get more people to agree with you.
  15. I just started watching this year and I'm floored each episode. I can't wait until spike shows it in syndication. I can catch up on a TON of lost time.
  16. Don't take it personal. I've met people from NYC, Long Island and Westchester county that I did like but unfortunately a few bad apples really spoiled the lot. I went to a SUNY school that was primarly NYC area kids. They left an impression that I will never lose. That and the fact that I have begged for the Yankees plane to crash on several occasions.
  17. I'll admit most of my exposure to Stern has come on the TV when they used to show a 1/2 hour portion comprised mostly of skin. When I did tune in to the radio, it was usually more of the same. I think the fact that I hate all things NYC, I never wanted to give it a chance.
  18. I also enjoyed the fact that he tried to convince everyone that he was going to Sirius because of the FCC but in reality it was all about the benjamins. I'm fine with a cash grab but don't try and sell me something different.
  19. ...but you liked Cocoon?
  20. Sure, but why does anybody want to listen to that?
  21. The only reason to listen to Stern is if the alternative is Arty baby Boo-Boo.
  22. Stern fans don't know what shame is. Nor do they have the intelligence to understand why they shouldn't like him.
  23. What exactly does this do for anyone? Do you pull over to the side of the road and rub one off? I think Stern is a jack ass. He tells every pornstar/slut/stripper that he would bang them and then proceeds to have them participate in lude activities. I don't think this takes real genious.
