Democracy’s Fiery Ordeal: The War in Ukraine 🇺🇦
Doc replied to Tiberius's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I don't know if Zelensky is corrupt. I also don't blindly think he's a golden boy, just because he's standing up to Putin. I know you all have nightmares about Trump and Putin (not necessarily in that order) so anyone who stands up to him is automatically a saint. Ukraine has always been a corrupt country and it wouldn't surprise me if it still is. As for the war, I'm against the money we're sending to a non-NATO country for a proxy war that Ukraine ultimately can't win without it being a forever war. The claim that we need to do it to prevent Putin from invading a NATO country doesn't fly because, again, he's proven with Ukraine that Russia just doesn't have the ability. -
It might be the corporations. But people are blaming Biden.

No, I was talking about the phone call where he asked Zelensky to investigate why Biden had a prosecutor fired for looking into the company that hired his stupid, drug-addled leave-a-laptop-at-a-store son. Before he threw more money at another corrupt regime. -

It's not even hypocrisy. It's smart investing. She doesn't have to believe in the treatments, just that it will make money for the company. -

She earned 120 credits through AP courses? Dang. I had 19 credits going into college and graduated a semester early.

If Biden/Harris get relected, it will be President Harris within months. So talking about cheap fakes only gets them there.

I'm against the taxpayers paying for this period. If anyone should be paying it, it's the universities and colleges that got the money. -
If Araiza knew this was an ongoing issue and never told them (which might have made them think twice about drafting him), then they didn't owe him anything. That part I don't know.

Wow, that border bill created time travel to prevent this guy from getting in the country a year ago? Amazing! -
Joe Biden is dying in front of our eyes!

I remember when the left went crazy about Trump walking slowly down a ramp or using a second arm to lift a glass. Ah, the good old days... -

You're talking about the members of his own administration, right? -

The question answers itself. If they call themselves women...they're okay. -
He admitted to having sex with her and she was 17 at the time, which in California (but not in 40 other states) is a crime. It's no longer an accusation if it's proven/agreed upon to have happened. What was in question was whether she portrayed herself to be of legal age, which is an acceptable defense in California. Now on the face of it, it's absurd to think that a high schooler would bother going to a college party and then tell people he/she is 17, but you need to prove that it didn't happen and that takes time. Given the reaction, not only by the public but by several players on the Bills, the Bills couldn't afford to keep him on the team.

Yup. Still lots of people with bad taste in beer.
