He's just talking about imports from Canada, Mexico and China. They were fine, or at least conveniently ignorant of everything being higher in price because of the optics. -

I figured the “working man” was a pejorative. As for the $800 increase, I sincerely believe they are/will be trying to get energy prices down and fix supply chains to reduce prices, that will offset that. But I hope that a compromise on tariffs/trade is reached quickly. I don’t like to see it.

I voted against the terrible direction the Dems were taking the country. Will I like everything Trump does? No, just like didn't like (or shouldn't have liked) everything Biden's Admin did.

LOL! I am as much a "working man" as you used to be (you retired, right?). My tax breaks will more than cover the $800/year, not that I need anything covered.

Like I said before, the "low confidence" is because "we can't prove one way or another." Because China scrubbed all evidence of it at the beginning. -
