  1. BTW I guess we can safely say Torrence is starting the season.
  2. Joke slurs his words and makes no sense all the time. What legal stress is he under?
  3. I'm not the one saying "you gotta watch the games" just saying that if Gilliam were cut, the Giants would pick him up, just like Daboll has done with probably a dozen ex-Bills players. Why you're choosing to die on that hill I don't know. But out of curiosity, what "professional review sites" are saying that Reggie Gilliam isn't worth a roster spot?
  4. He wanted out. Like Roaf did. When that happens there's not much you can do.
  5. What I'm getting at is there is no need to put Shorter on the roster. He can easily be placed on the PS and then given a multi-year contract if called up. Dorsey used him 10 times on offense and Daboll used him 8 times in 2021. Basically no difference. Meanwhile it's not like the Giants have a ton of talent on offense at the skill positions where it would be a matter of him versus some talented player. Basically it's Waller and Hyatt. Oh and of course Hodgins...
  6. Cash-to-cap had nothing to do with it. He wanted a new deal when he had 2 years left on the deal they gave him a year earlier than they needed to. They were set to give him the deal he wanted (between $8-10M/year) after the 2008 season but he had already decided to leave and ended up making $10M/year in 2009 anyway. I was a huge Jason Peters fan. I loved the story of how he went from UDFA to All-Pro OL with the Bills. Then he pulled that stunt. Again I saw his team win a SB without him playing, being replaced by a JAG (Vaitai). His presence wouldn't have made a difference in winning and losing given the teams they fielded.
  7. Shorter isn't making any waves at receiver either from what I can gather. Huh? Gilliam joined the Bills in 2000. Daboll was OC in 2018. He used him how he used him.
  8. The same was done by libs to SCJs after the leaking of the Dobbs decision. Hell one guy with a gun, knife and pepper spray was even caught near Kavanaugh's home.
  9. IIRC, a scout called Shavers the best STs prospect he's seen in awhile, maybe ever. The same as in Buffalo. The Bills signed him to the 53 with Daboll as OC and kept him the following year. Obviously that must been with Daboll's blessing.
  10. I was surprised. Seems like he's been on the team forever. Is he?
  11. The thing with Shorter is there is little reason to believe he will be placed on any other team's active roster based on what he's done so far. So that means PS. They might not in the past but Gilliam was there under Daboll and he used him. He's been in the league just 3 years. He's subject to waivers. Now the Giants would pick later in the order so they might not be able to get him.
  12. The Bills did what Jerruh paid lip-service to: not renegotiating deals with players who have several years left on their contracts. And Peters wasn't the reason the Bills didn't win while he wasn't the reason the Eagles won and in fact was injured most of the season they won their SB, including missing the SB itself.
  13. There's no need for it to be. You can support trans women but say they need to be in their own league if they want to compete.
