  1. The Jets will still lose more games than they win and lose in Buffalo.
  2. I read it. I boiled it down to its essence. The NFL doesn't have to wait until he's on board with them.
  3. McGovern did well in pass blocking but not run blocking. I think that's his MO. I'm not sure if he's still injured and if he is, put Edwards in there.
  4. I wouldn't read too much into the out. Teams love to have them. It depends on the player accepting it and I'm sure Jones and his camp jumped at the chance to get $81M over the first 2 years. And I can't see Schoen and Daboll going to Mara/Tisch after a couple years and needing a new QB because they failed to develop Jones and saying "just give us a few more years..."
  5. This isn't a Bills rebuild/timeline, where they had Tyrod and then drafted Josh the following year and needed to develop him. Jones was the 6th overall pick and going into his 5th year. He had his best season in the NFL under Daboll last year and as a result they are paying him $40M/year for at least the next 2 years. They will expect to see Jones continue to improve, not be replaced in 2 years time.
  6. The basis of the suit is that he'll be on board with the NFL...when they do what he wants? LOL! Good one.
  7. He made a public statement vehemently deying that he said what is alleged. The black team leaders know Terry from their relationship with him and can bring it up to him in private if they want.
  8. True there's an out after 2024 (with a $22M cap hit), but Daboll was brought-in to make Jones a franchise QB. If the can't do that and they're looking for a new QB in 2025... That won't play well with the Giants fans, media and probably ownership. He might be a victim of his own early success. That was due to Lawyer Milloy. But as I said, we'll have to see how the rest of the season goes.
  9. You know they just gave Jones a 4-year $160M contract with $81M guaranteed, right?
  10. After that Cowboys game, there's not much to say except "wait and see how the rest of the season plays out."
  11. They've got a great DL and defense. But Brown was getting bull-rushed into Josh early in the game and pressure was coming up the middle. I can see why he got skittish but I don't know why he stopped taking the short passes like he was doing in the beginning of the game. That's why I think the concussion theory is plausible.
  12. I'm sure that's the plan. He's 2nd string center and Morse will be 32 next season and it would save $8.5M in cap room by releasing him.
  13. Well that at least gives me some hope. And being a CNN poll, there was obviously Dem-oversampling...
  14. Can you grow grass in an enclosed stadium without the field being on a "tray"?
  15. Oh, the hypocrisy! I'll chalk it up to naivete on your part.
  16. Yeah, they do, considering the phone call impeachment was a joke. But once they see the evidence, regular American won't be seeing it the way you think they will because the Repubs will control the narrative this time. Again IF Joke stays in the race, which is looking less likely with each passing day.
  17. Sure it's possible. But only Josh knows and I doubt he's going to admit it.
  18. It's because they know it's true. And again, all the "do it!" is just whistling past the graveyard. Like I said, they have more than the Dems did with the phone call impeachment.
  19. And get Edwards in there until McGovern is 100%.
