I've been saying for awhile that this was coming because Iran, the toothless JCPOA or not, was pursuing nukes and they weren't going to get them one way or another. I also said that Israel had people in Iran ready to take it all down.

I would have been fine with control of the NG being returned to Newsom. They did their job quelling the riots so Trump already gets the victory. But if the riots started up again, it's a huge black eye for Newsom.
