He definitely has the chops and recruiting talent to win two or three more at UConn though

He's going to be a problem for as long as he stays... His teams are just too big and physical

Yeah recruiting will continue to be good while he's there and especially while they're winning Championships.  They're in the top-3 annually.  And he's even added some talent from the local area (Bristol, CT, home of ESPN and...Aaron Hernandez).

come on doc, Diggs’s attitude problems were understood in Minny.  That the Bills got fed up with him was therefore predictable.  It’s not even debatable.  It all happened, as we saw.  Why wouldn’t I bring it up—it’s hardly a take.

Kelce had had 121 targets last year.  Super Bowl hoisted. Kincaid just showed up and got 91.

”loved” AB? lol. Anyway, no one-ever-confused Diggs for AB on the field.

A WR with attitude problems is hardly a new thing.  How many of the top WRs over the past few years have changed teams?  It's a non-point.  The Bills may have gotten the best remaining years out of him.  We'll see.

Kelce had 121 targets in 15 games.  That's 8 targets a game.  Pretty hefty for a TE who is basically their superstar WR.  It will be interesting to see what they do once he retires.

Whether I would or wouldn't do isn't the real issue here.

To know what a GM will do, look at what a GM has done.  Beane has made roster spots for Andre Roberts, Jake Kumerow, and Trent Sherfield.

Were there better WR Beane could have kept?  Arguably, at least some of those years.

Beane has been explicit: if you're the #5 or #6 receiver on the Bills, you better play ST.

I'd argue that Roberts' return skills made him worth keeping.  I didn't realize that Sherfield played mostly on STs, which would explain his paltry production as a WR, but I'd be hard-pressed to name the receiver that was let-go who would have been significantly better in the offense and also be able to play STs.  And Kumerow started-off on the PS and was shuttled back and forth mostly, which is something they could do with Hollins.

Which brings me back to whether Hollins is worth enough as a STer to supplant a guy who can give you 500-600 (or more) yards at WR like Claypool or MVS, assuming Coleman, Samuel and Shakir are locks?  With the understanding that they'll probably just be keeping 5 WRs like they usually do.

Well, 8 seasons is more than enough time to "adjust."  If they don't have it by the end of this season ...

Josh has had a #1 WR for just the past 4 years and his ascendance correlated with Diggs' arrival.  Whether there was causation remains to be seen, which is why I said they may need to adjust (i.e. go back to that) next year.

Brady doesn't sign players in Carolina LOL Samuel got a 35 million deal from Washington... That ain't chump change or minimum deal

He also got a $20 million dollar deal here... He is a lock to make the team this year

He's as locked as locked can be.  Not sure why this is so hard to grasp.

UCONN is about to lose four or five players to the NBA

Hurley did great with a big time program..  but that's even too much to overcome in a season

They were the first two-time champion 15 years... They just don't have the dogs for the three peat

    Probably not.

If you're a WR being added to another teams 53 after being cut, it's almost always bottom of the depth chart to fill out the roster and play Special Teams.

So would you keep Hollins on the 53 as mostly a ST'er if there are 5 better WRs?  Would you make an extra roster spot for him?

I've seen a lot of people who wouldn't back down when the conditions warranted that approach get the livin' crap kicked out of them. If you think the other guy is bluffing you better make sure. So far I don't see any evidence Putin is bluffing. He clearly articulated Russia's "red line" and their security concerns and when that line was crossed and their concerns ignored, right or wrong, he attacked. What makes you so sure he's bluffing? Because if you're wrong there's no second chance. Beyond your democracy mantra and your moralizing you can't even articulate what America's security interest is with Ukraine. Because there isn't one. Sure, isolating and weakening Russia can be a benefit but when the costs are greater than the benefits its time to re-evaluate your thinking. Remember that? Thinking. Try it.

Because Putin is gonna invade a NATO country next!  It's going on 2-1/2 years with Ukraine, who has minimal support from NATO but, by golly, Putin's going to take over Europe!

Throw anyone that committed crimes in jail.  Done.  We will never defend scum like you.  We will never defend a politician like you.

Also, sub moronic comparison.   One may have caused more damage $ wise but they weren't trying to disrupt/subvert an election.

The people who committed actual crimes that day deserved to be jailed.  It's those who were let in and just walked around and left on their own that were prosecuted that many of us have a problem with.

And yes, billions in damage and stupid policies like "defund the police" made it far worse than J6.  Only in your feeble minds was the election or democracy ever in doubt.

The Texans just traded for Skowronek.  Didn't give up much, but to me that indicates there's a market for a primary ST WR.

Early in the season like the Texans did?  Sure.  On the cusp of the season?  I can't see it.  But you never know.

So you believe 500K dead Ukrainian soldiers along with dead and displaced civilians with most of the country in chaos have been "saved" and are enjoying the benefits of US intervention in the affairs of their country? Sure the Russians are wrong and their actions are to be denounced and resisted but to think our government is doing those people a favor by putting a pro-western government in power is the height of insanity. Now tell me something other than how evil Putin is because this thing isn't going to end well for anybody.

If only Blinken were as gung-ho about a peace treaty between Russia and Ukraine as he is Israel and the terrorist group...

Desperate Biden Campaign Continues to Push Long-Debunked Hoax

    MATT MARGOLIS

It never ceases to amaze me how the Biden campaign is not only built on lies but doubles down on them even when they've been repeatedly debunked. They do this because they know they can get away with it because the mainstream media will dutifully push whatever narrative the Biden campaign wants.

For example, a new Biden campaign pushes the long-debunked accusation made in The Atlantic that Trump refused to visit the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in 2018 because he thought the troops buried there were "suckers" and "losers."

This story was debunked four years ago, as more than a dozen Trump administration officials who were with Trump on that trip have now disputed the Atlantic report, including former national security adviser John Bolton — who is no fan of Trump.

"I didn't hear either of those comments or anything even resembling them. I was there at the point in time that morning when it was decided that he would not go to Aisne-Marne cemetery," Bolton told Fox News in September 2020. "He decided not to do it because of John Kelly's recommendation. It was entirely a weather-related decision, and I thought the proper thing to do.”
