wd 40 will remove stains in carpet, make sure you remove not only the stain but more importantly the wd 40 you sprayed on the carpet.. the oils in the wd 40 will make a new stain by absorbing dust and you will have a new stain that maynot come clean....

Spotshot is a very good cleaner for carpets and linens or clothes.... It comes in a can and you spray the stain and blot it after 10 mins.... Sold at homedepot $ 8.00 .... Have used this product on stains like oil, ketchup, mustard and paints that were on brandnew carpets in new homes....

Sorry to hear that, yes the new polycoat will not take clearly, milky looking finish and adhearing...Most woodfloor finishes nowadays are poly,they use to be wax, thats why murphy's is around....Listen,. ask the sanders about poly polishers for future use... they will offer proper advise and save money, instead of just homedepot where you might be sold another wax based product...Oh yeah don't forget to put good doormats at all outside doors, salt,oil, driveway grime terrible on floors... I work construction, in the last 5 years I have seen crews, landscape,drywall,carpentry rough and finish, painting, ect ,being done by ''illegals''.... Why, ''$'' cheaper labor, so it is not all about some teenagers being unindustrius in the home building jobs, it is about completing the job with less labor cost, lower proposed bid wins the job....I have been on jobs where young illegals have slacked just as much, as young americans in the restaraunt jobs......Hey I do not care what race culture or legal or illegal, I care about the destruction of american construction jobs, by illegals lowering the labor rate....Think about the jobs being shipped overseas, now imagine the indians illegally coming over here and taking whitecollar jobs because they work for less....Maybe I should just hire illegals, pay them less and put the extra coin in my pocket....Oye
