  1. So 11-5 out of the question then? How about 10-6? War of Northern Aggression? Dude, the South started that war and the North finished it!
  2. No, but he did eat a lot of burritos
  3. I think you make a good point about in the Red Zone. A good run game is important there but so is a good passing attack, and I don't have much confidence in JP getting job done there. Who knows what the O-line will do? Too many new guys to tell just yet
  4. J.P. Losman reminds me a lot of Rob Johnson.
  5. Haven't woke up yet, like I said it's still training camp. Run and stop the run. Who knows, maybe the Bills will excell in those two areas. If that's the case it will be a good season. The QB position is what, IMO, makes my prediction look like it borders on moronic. You can't win a lot of games with good play from that position and I don't think they will get it even with a good running game. Hope I'm wrong of course
  6. If that new guy Marv signed is any good at all, I bet Holcomb is cut by the end of camp
  7. He also played for awhile with the Dolphins. I remember him returning kickoffs for them
  8. Darn, I unplugged my chrystal ball and it would need to warm up again, so I'll have to get back to you on that one!
  9. A lot of teams under new coaches do jump right out of the box and play well.
  10. One thing I do remember was that a fax or something was sent to Cribbs witha base salary and an incentive that said he got $500 for every yard he gained, and they accepted the deal. But it was a typo and suppose to say $50 a yard, and the contract talks lagged on. What was frustrating was that 1980 was such a great season and you just wanted that to continue. 1981 wasn't bad, but not as good as 1980.
  11. I take it you don't have much confidence in the new linemen Marv brought in? I'm just hoping they can get the job done.
  12. Ok, so what, it's the typical training camp optimism. Sure, maybe they don't have a lot of stars, but if they get the ground game going and this new defense stops the run, they will be good. I like the new attitude I'm reading about. Don't remind me of this post later....
  13. What about the third choice? What does he add?
  14. He sure would have fit right in with the fumbling in the Super Bowls. But yes, he was an excellent back who caught the ball and ran with it. If he didn't get hurt late in the second quarter at Cincinnati in jan 82? we would have won that game. Got hurt on a 48 yard TD run if I remember
  15. Ya, keep going! What a pain in the neck he was. Great player when he was here, though
  16. I wonder if he'll hold out at the last minute for the best seat at the table and threaten to leave for the Memphis Showboats Alumi dinner instead? http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20060...?tbd1013154.asp Weekend with Fergy The Bills Alumni group has a big weekend of activities planned for Sept. 23-25, when dozens of former players will return for their annual get-together. 17. That really is a good point. It's a pretty simple game, go out there and kick some butt!
  18. Maybe Bush should invade Cinncinati, that might get the players to grow up
  19. maybe he could play middle linebacker?
  20. I just don't expect things to go well with him, though!
  21. 7 votes for Frank Reich? That has to be a joke
  22. He never lived up to his billing. Anther Donahue failure. I wonder if this is a good sign that Spikes is well on his way back to full recovery, or just a sign of how bad Posey was?
  23. What about Frank Reich? First off, he shouldn't even be on the list, secondly, he played incredible at times. Greatest comeback ever and who can ever forget the Rams game on monday night football? And a playoff win in Pittsburgh
