Still stand by my sources that the Bills will be sold to the Jacobs family and the deal is already in place.
Thought it was interesting that the only corporation in the Buffalo News taking a full page ad honoring Ralph was the Jacob's Family and Delaware North.

I prefer Gabe's Gate on Allen.

If I had to guess who Kelly's "Money Guy" is, I would say chances are it was that "rich" investor that bought the Statler Building and wanted to build the sky scrapper. The following are the clues that led me to believe it may be a possibility.
1. Nothing much has been said by Kelly about his "group" since that guy was found out to be a con and a fraud
2. Jim hasn't had much success in the past with investments and this seems like the kind of guy that could sucker him
3. This is the Bills and we are all Bills fans, this is the type of luck we have
There is no connection between Jim Kelly and British investor Bashar Issa.

id move back in a heartbeat, if there was work for me
Me too. And I now live in Boston. Grass is not greener; just more expensive.

I've been to games at Foxhole for years; in the old stadium and new.
If you keep to your self and not be obnoxious; Pat fans will leave you alone.
Also, if your GF is a Pats fan you'll be fine. One other thing to note: Patriot colors are similar to Bills - so we blend in well.
I'll be at the game, too.
go bills

Anyone else catch that?

ralph probably doesnt even know where he is or what day it is.
anyone else sick of comments like this?

He hasn't won any titles, but the guy can build a winning team, fast...you don't have a chance to do anything in the playoffs, unless you make them...Marty is the kind of coach the Bills could use...someone who doesn't accept losing ways very easily...
not convinced. marty = fiesty jauron
buffalo.must.do.better.

Why start threads like this? Pathetic.

This year, the Bills sold the 2nd most season tickets in team history. After the latest turn of events, how bad will ticket sales be for next year?
If Ralph doesn't hire a good head coach and we get some better players in here, I'm not going to take anymore time away from my family on Sundays and support this team. My 6 year old said it best "The Bills Stink!!!".
another pathetic post. if you don't buy tickets - kiss ur bills goodbye.
yes, i'll renew my tickets.
-
what exactly has Marty won?

I'm not disagreeing, I'm just skeptical that he'll be around to collect.
Oh man, don't say that... I am hoping to see Ralph's face pic on Willard Scotts segment of the Today Show in ten years...

I'm pretty sure the last thing a 90 year old guy needs is an installment plan.
Well, since payments are scheduled from 2008 through 2012 - looks like Ralph gave Ted an installment plan to me.

Rogers Reports Third Quarter 2008 Financial and Operating Results
The Buffalo Bills will play a series of eight games over a five-year period at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, beginning in August 2008. Payments are scheduled from 2008 through 2012, and at September 30, 2008, there is a remaining commitment of $69 million;Hope Ralph is making interest on this installment plan...

You're complaining about free food? You don't go to the Harp for haute cuisine, you go there to be with hundreds of screaming Bills fans...and the draft beer selection is pretty good too.
PTR
Last week they did not serve the mile long sandwhich/sub - they did wraps instead. Food has improved - but who goes to the Harp for food? You go for the game and beer and good friends. And yes, there are plenty of good looking chicks @ the Harp.
Sorry Boston; but Buffalo has hotter chicks.
-
IMO they should take all those down.
Thank you.
Those signs are ridiculous.

McFaddens is more fun, but get there early if you want to get in. Calicos is more relaxed, far easier to get a table, but still a good time.
Thanks for the reply.
How early do you suggest?
Don't need a table - just need to see a tv but would prefer to be in a livelier setting.
-
I guess they're right next door to each other but which bar is more fun?

A Pats* fan used to be a good sport when his team was winning even laughing at the logo of the Pats* with a camera. There was a discussion at work and Tom Brady's name came up and he stated the Pats* would have been undisputed lead of AFC East if Brady had not hurt himself. Oh I asked how would they have been undisputed when Bills won all games so far? He said it was because the Bills were 4-0 and Pats* did not have a bye week at which everyone laughed at him for not realizing we were still in week 4. Finally he admitted that once Brady went down he knew the team was shot and he had not paid attention to the team.
Take the Marv Levy approach and be humble. He always said: when you score a touchdown; don't overreact. It's just like it's always been.
As someone who lives in Boston and deals with Pats fans everyday - I just stay humble. We haven't won anything; they haven't lost anything, yet. Optimism is great - but it's still early.
Go Bills

We all got it. Do a search, there's quite a few posts on it.
Scanned the relevant posts but did not see anything written where EVERYONE got a letter. If it's out there, my bad.
-
Today, we received a letter from the Bills - almost as if though we were being specifically warned for improper behavior at our seats. (I haven't seen the letter; yet).
Now, I go to the game with my little sister and we certainly are not rowdy.
Was this letter sent to all season ticket holders or just targeted towards a select few?
This is ridiculous.

I thought about going to the Harp but I didn't want to drive an hour, pay $10 for parking and find out I couldn't get in. We had about 12 Bills fans in the side room at Billy's Sports Bar in Manchester NH. It ain't the Harp but it's still fun.
PTR
There was no line to get in when I arrived at 12:15pm.

Is Jeremy Jacobs the ONLY family member in the Jacob's family?
That family has money - and it's just not with Jeremy.
