  1. I could be very wrong, but it seems like I recall that if it's a tie again, it goes to how many votes a person has received throughout the game. Can't remember why I think that though...
  2. This is what kind ruined the season for me. I give Rob all the credit in the world; he played a perfect game from start to finish. But he had the worst SURVIVOR tribe I've ever seen (I've watched maybe 11 of the 22 seasons). I just can't give much respect to the win, and to the season overall, that I would like. And those two morons at the reunion saying they couldn't turn on Rob becuase they knew he had the idol...are you kidding me??? That doesn't get you off the hook, it makes you DUMBER! So you KNEW he had the idol and still never even considered voting him off BEFORE the final 4 when you KNEW he would use it? My god... AJ, you keep saying that you wouldn't focus on the stongest player, but how did that work out for everyone this season? If you want to win, there is no other choice but to vote out the strongest players as early as you can. If those dolts had voted out Rob, they might have had a chance. Letting your strongest competitor stick around longer is insane, no matter what the game.
  3. Wow. 1. Did you really just include Cleveland in the list of teams you never hear about leaving??? 2. Have you really never heard of Detroit having financial issues? The only reason they aren't mentioned to leave is because they're owned by Ford. Big difference between Ford and Ralph Wilson. 3. Comparing the viability of a city for hockey and football is two completely different things. Ridiculous comparison. But other than that, good argument.
  4. So nothing like the original then?
  5. Hopefully it's Jasper. If he's able to be coached up and play to an NFL level, he changes the whole defense. My guess, based on how the draft went, is they would have taken Ponder if he dropped to the 2nd. Just based on Chan having him at the Senior Bowl.
  6. How about, "Ralph is cheap, and sarcasm is not BuffaloBills strong suit."
  7. Not sure what the definition of "highly drafted" is, but Brett Favre could fall into that category as well. High second round.
  8. Good article; also puts to rest how the Bills found him (not through Levi Brown). And this:
  9. This guy is a complete mystery, and like almost everything about him, stamina is up in the air. But there is no way the guy on those videos (including the pro-day video) isn't sufficiently conditioned to play NT in the NFL! Very poor post by Nawrocki.
  10. While I agree at this point it's a long shot, just like with every draft pick, I would also say that if there is any position that has a better chance of succeeding it would be NT. The size, strength, and athleticism that Jasper has is a huge part of the position. There's almost no doubt that he can collapse the pocket, the #1 job of a NT. If he can show or learn leverage, tackling fundamentals, and run recognition, he could be great, but he's got a big head start toward at least being a solid NT that frees up space for the other linemen and LB's to do their job.
  11. This is definitely how I see it. I think there will be a lot of rotation on the D-line, but our base set should be this. I'm actually surprised there's so much differing opinions on this. I also think a line-up of Williams - Troupe - Dareus would be excellent. (big) If Jasper is able to get into the rotation I think they'll eventually go this route.
  12. Pretty cool. This is pretty much the definition of a sleeper. I'll be rooting for him big time! Videos from his web site:
  13. I've never heard the reason, but I've watched it for a while now and it's always 32. I'd be surprised if it's coincidence.
  14. I imagine this has probably been asked and answered before, but will there be UDFA signing with the lockout?
  15. That is seriously impressive. Obviously these videos don't equal success, but if this guy has any ability at DT he's worth the late pick as a project. Not you're fault. When I went to look him up I saw a website that listed OG as well. BB.com now has him up as a DT, so I'm assuming that's correct.
  16. NFL.com and the Buffalo Bills Facebook alert both say DT.
  17. There are 8 rounds of picks in every draft. 7 rounds and 32 comp picks. Same every year.
  18. I agree he's probably a depth pick as well. His coach was talking him up especially as a special teamer.
  19. They're not re-signing the prior regimes idea of good DB's. They're getting guys they think fit what they want. Now, if they don't re-sign these new guys, it's a bigger deal. That said, I still would have rather gone another way.
  20. This is obviously a replacement for Whitner, and another run support guy. Every pick has been for run support. I'm not real happy with it either. I think there was really good value here for some T and TE prospects At this point in the draft I'd rather have gone that way. Oh well...
