  1. Pretty sure it has more to do with the second point than the first. Though for the people around here that have already said Nix should give up everything to get RGIII, I'm sure it's a combination. Anyway, to answer your question more literally, I believe the premise of the thread is sarcasm.
  2. Pushing them over works wonders.
  3. I'd say this is half of it for me, combined with the fact that I just like not being tired the next day. And yeah, I always said I was fine with 5 hours of sleep, and I suppose I made it through alright. But the difference in how I feel with consistent 8 hour sleeps is amazing. All that, and I'm 33 with no kids. I don't go to bed because I get tired earlier; I could easily stay up to 11 before I start feeling that way. I go to bed at 9 because I want to.
  4. Recently saw Tucker and Dale vs Evil; I'd say it fits this thread.
  5. I haven't listened to the interview yet, but I have a feeling they will still stay with what they have on the Dline. Williams and Dareus in the middle will be outstanding and will help whoever we have at end. Everyone (meaning coaching staff) seems to love Kelsay, who is at least serviceable at 4-3 DE (and sometimes much more), and I just think they give Carrington a shot on the other side. I know everyone thinks pass rush has to be high priority, but between Williams injury and the part time 3-4, my guess is the Bills brass isn't going to spend a high pick to replace guys they think can do the job. I do expect to see a LB early, but I also agree that OT and WR could be targets as well.
  6. Not if everyone stops quoting him!
  7. Pat Moran has an important announcement to make.
  8. I watched all of the WR part, and there was nothing amazing there. I saw a lot of REALLY bad coverages that left him wide open, and that was it. Not a single broken tackle, nothing caught in traffic, no jumping or great route running ability. He showed some quickness, but he was also run down from behind by a MLB.
  9. Good thing so many medical personnel were around!
  10. Showed up on Hulu yesterday.
  11. Just caught the premier for this show, and I have to say I liked it. Not the normal type of show that usually gets talked about around here, so not sure how many people are interested in dramas like this, but it's a unique idea that I think could be good. Jason Isaacs was pretty good in it.
  12. Haven't watched yet, but for me this show is on a short leash. If the first half of season 2 was what can be expected from here on out, I'm dumping it. We'll see...
  13. Saw it last night and really liked it. I rarely go to the movies because I'm usually disappointed with the movie vs cost of the tickets, but this one seemed like it was going to be fun so I wanted to see it. I'm glad I did. I agree with Fong, the found footage at toward the end of the movie got annoying, but I understand the point. I would have had an equally unfavorable reaction if they all of a sudden dumped that angle at the end. I think it would have been easier to just throw in the one guy controlling every camera nearby and getting footage from every angle . Outside of that, I thought it was great, and they really did a lot with that 14 mil tgreg. It's pretty rare that I would expect a movie like this to be entertaining, suspenseful, and have an ending that I actually liked. And the wife liked it too!
  14. Go ahead.
  15. The more I read about WR's, the more I think there's a really good chance McNutt is guy the Bills would consider...all the more because it seems there's a decent chance he'll still be there in the 2nd round. I really don't think speed is a priority to the Bills brass and McNutt is a big target that has excellent hands. I know there was a thread about him before, so I won't bother with highlights and such. I saw a bunch of Randle this year and frankly he just never stood out to me. He never really had the dominant, take over a game type talent. On the other hand, I saw almost nothing of McNutt, so everything I like about him is only from reviews and clips.
  16. I think you may be missing something.
  17. Has anybody suggested a CB? Multiple LB's, offensive tackles and WR's are all of bigger concern than OG. By all accounts, DeCastro should be great, but OG is one of the least needed positions on the roster.
  18. I'm watching on NBCSports.com. I have it set up to watch the "Cable Cam" and I love it. Get to watch the play develop much more this way!
  19. That already happened and they went right back. Frankly I think the players prefer it. I don't really care where they go, I just said it would be nice to keep it there as it's the state's only chance at an NFL atmosphere. I can guarantee one thing, the fans in Hawaii are far more appreciative of the players during their week in Hawaii than any current NFL city would be.
  20. They get college football, and the tailgating is great. But yes, the tailgating at the ProBowl is fun, but I think that would be the case whether there's a game or some other skills competition type event.
  21. The first part makes sense, as others have said. IMO, the FA thing doesn't work. FA have to worry about injuries more than anyone else. At a minimum, the top FA would never play, and without them, it would be a pointless game. I give it some thought every year and I've never been able to come up with even a completely off the wall way of making the Pro Bowl game worth it. I agree with most in this thread; forget the game. Having lived in Hawaii for a while, I hope they can continue some sort of even there. Locals (including a large population of military personnel) really enjoy the events surrounding the game (charity events, Play60, golf, sand football, etc...) and I think a skills competition with money going to players choice of organization would be a good idea.
  22. And the media hype around Brady and the Pats/Giants rematch wouldn't be horrible as well? I'm not a fan of the Harbaugh's personalities (though I'd love either as a coach), but I'd rather see them plastered all over the news for 2 weeks than Brady/Belicheat/Manning! I'm rooting for 9ers and Baltimore (9ers just because I like their team and Baltimore because I hate the Pats), but I expect both to lose. Hope I'm wrong!
  23. I don't buy it. They never do any more than shut down websites for a few hours. And what does "take them out" mean? Permanently disable the site? Won't happen.
