I think I read that different than you.

Heard he ran a 4.9. He could go top 3 at this point.

Cordarrelle Patterson - WR - Tennessee

I said earlier that Patterson's limited time at that level was a concern, but he did what he could do with the time he had. He is NOT a guy with handful of sick highlights. He proved his talent at more than one position against the best competition in college football. The "variations in risk to reward" are not much different than the the rest of the crap shoot that is the draft, including players that have proved themselves year in and year out. Every level of experience has proven they can and will fail, and not any small percentage of the time. -
I didn't watch the combine, but those are pretty much my opinions of all these guys. Especially Bray and Glennon. For those guys, the combine means nothing to me. It's game time where they fall short, not measurements. IMO, the only QB worth taking early is Barkely, and then only in a WCO and only on a team that has a bit of time with him (he'd be an absolute perfect replacement for Brady). There's no good pick for the Bills unless they're drafting a backup.

Bray is Fitz with a stronger arm. Makes a great throw then follows it up with a mind boggling pass into a defenders chest or 5 yards from his WR. Often a one read/stares down one receiver type QB too. I know he has the big arm, but I just can't believe he has supporters.

So he could be elite or a bust that we would talk bad about in 3 years? How is that different than every other pick we could make? -

Took about 30 sec, but I found one: Found the quote here: http://www.rotoworld...relle-patterson, but it says it's from a podcast. I will say I'm very curious to find out what the "bad interviews" rumor is about. Not able to break down plays? Not intelligent or not motivated? -

Generally I agree, but this draft is so weak that I honestly don't think I'll be overly excited by anyone they pick. I think CP will be just as good as the rest of the bunch, and like it or not, with Jones and Nelson off the roster WR is one of the teams biggest needs. He isn't huge, but he actually does run over people. It's pretty evident, especially on his runs. The one thing he doesn't seem to have, or at least to have shown, is the ability to jump and fight for the ball at it's high point. I don't recall seeing him get beat for jump balls either though, just a lack of opportunity for those types of plays I suppose. Seems like his vertical would make it a strength for him, but I've seen plenty of tall receivers who can't make plays off their feet, so who knows. -

Interesting, I didn't watch but all the reports I've seen from yesterday say Patterson likely solidified himself as the #1 WR. -

You're doing the same thing that the most in this thread are doing, making a judgement based on one highlight film, and a poorly put together highlight film at that. You are wrong about Patterson's ability to catch with his hands. Watch his game film (not just the highlights). When he needs to, he uses his hands better than most college WRs (for the most part, I meant that he can catch with his hands in traffic and hold on to the ball after taking a hit). He does use his body a lot, but he uses it at the right times, to shield defenders. As seen in this film and others that show more, his athleticism, vision, and change of direction are amazing! You can downplay that all you want, but it's HUGE for a WR. Poor route running? Prove it. Just another over hyped draft-ism like "has trouble shedding blocks" or "needs better footwork" or "raw"...basically, a bunch of bull **** that people spew to make themselves sound like they know what they're talking about. The biggest knock on Patterson (and it's a big one) is his limited time at that level. I'm always hesitant of one year wonders, and he is no exception. The draft is a crap shoot, anyone can succeed and anyone can fail. But how anyone can actually watch this guy play (not just highlights) and think he doesn't have what it takes to make that next step is a mystery to me. Personally, I don't know about drafting him at 8. I think he will succeed in the NFL and can really change our offense (adding him to Stevie and Spiller sounds great to me), but I'm more of a OL and defensive front seven type guy when it comes to high draft picks. The fact that there aren't a lot of those guys available in this draft makes me think CP wouldn't be a bad pick. Here's some better film of him in a lot of different situations (kick returns, running, and catching both with his body and hands). -

She'll have just as much to worry about without being captured. -
I do all of that with my Bunn too. As long as you don't put grounds in between the water and the pot, all coffee makers are hot water dispensers.
-
I don't have one of those, so you'll have to excuse my ignorance, but doesn't reusable K-cups kind of defeat the purpose? Isn't that just a small coffee maker at that point?

A house? That sounds painful. -
He's listed as an inch taller and 2 lbs heavier. I wouldn't call that enough of a size difference to matter.
-
I knew that would happen, especially after the "enjoy the pro-bowl" jab by Suggs. Can't say I blame him though, the NFL really needs to hurry up and get rid of this game.

Are you? Teo isn't in court right now. There are no prosecutors and no jury. Presumption of innocence is not just a philosophy that US courts follow, it's a way of life. Outside of a bizarre story, there's nothing firm against Teo at this point. -

Yeah, but to fair, you're wrong a lot. -
The rule on kicking is well defined. The definition of "kick" is easily looked up (Mr. Clinton). This is a very obvious violation of a very specific rule.
-
Wow, for some reason I have a clear memory that they deemed it unintentional. No idea where that came from, but yes he was fined 30K. Brady's penalty should be more IMO because his kick (yes, it was a kick) was more apt to cause serious injury.
-
Kick: Verb: Strike or propel forcibly with the foot. Noun A blow or forceful thrust with the foot. Keep grasping that straw!
-
The problem is, Suh wasn't fined (EDIT: I was wrong...see future posts). It was absolutely disgraceful that he wasn't, as it's crystal clear on the replay that he kicked his foot out at the last second to hit Schaub. Same goes here for Brady. There is no doubt at all watching that replay of the intent to kick Reed. In this case, the momentum of both Brady and Reed could have caused this kick to end much worse than the Suh kick.

Silly me. I always get stuck on that innocent until proven guilty philosophy. I'm sorry to hear that doesn't apply to well known college students in your opinion. You can check this thread, I did not run in to defend Teo as soon as the news broke. It wasn't until all of the articles and statements from those involved (including Teo) came together that I ended up with the opinion that I did. So you go ahead and think that since you want a person with no real evidence against them to go out of their way to shed their right to privacy so that you can be assured of their innocence, that you are the unbiased observer here.
