  1. Zombies.
  2. I thought the same thing, but the goodbye scene SUCKED. They did an "okay" job building the tension of the two of them in the room together, especially with the music that started up toward the end. I think they really missed out on what could have been an emotional (if horrific) scene by having her continue to struggle with the restraints as he got closer and finally got to her. Overall a good episode and a solid season. Oddly, I thought the ending, with everyone getting off the bus and the groups reaction to it, was very good, but I'm already not looking forward to the new characters (and all the bitching and complaining it's going to bring) next season.
  3. I know it was a joke so this all for naught, but I just can't get behind trashing anyone based on Wanny's D last year. Everyone looked like crap, and I just think that had a lot more to do with system/coaching than most admit. Frankly, I'm willing to give everyone on defense a wash until I see them fail with Pettine.
  4. Good to get some insight on him. I didn't mean to imply that because I hadn't heard of him he wasn't good, just that I couldn't comment one way or the other. Suspension seems harsh, but I can't find any mention of details. EDIT: Doing some quick looking around, not much agreement that he will last until the 4th.
  5. I've never heard of Kelce, but everyone else in that draft is solid.
  6. I just figured that was when the story came out. Not sure what the NOAA would have to gain by making up the similarity.
  7. One theory is icebergs breaking up. The sound changes based on the speed of playback, some are lower sounding. Anyway, as far as mysterious sounds go, I like these:
  8. Wow...I've never heard that before. It's stunning.
  9. I would say "what the real harlem shake looks like" is pretty low on most of these peoples minds.
  10. The new dinner delivery service for new parents has really hit it's stride.
  11. My wife is from Montana and as of now, we plan on moving there if we can work transfers, and if not, we'll retire there. It's an amazing area.
  12. Wow, Georgetown out. I give all the credit to SU. That tourney loss really must have stuck with them.
  13. Yeah, that one is brilliant.
  14. This thread needs more Mark VI
  15. I think that's actually the definition of exaggeration. He blindsided a drunk guy! How the hell is that putting himself at risk? Nobody else did anything because they were all laughing at the douche bag. Everybody wasn't scared, they just didn't give a ****. They were having more fun watching the show. As I said very clearly, I have no problem at all with the hit.
  16. I was talking of the strut he did after the punch and as he was being pushed back. And yes, apparently I can.
  17. Yeah, I have no issue at all with him getting knocked out. Drunk or not, you start acting like that you get what's coming to you. I don't even care about the guy blindsiding him. Why put yourself into harms way when you can take the guy out with one punch? But acting like you're a bad ass for doing so is just sad.
  18. Would have been better if the guy hadn't acted so tough after blindsiding the drunk idiot.
  19. I think we're in cash saving mode for some reason, so keeping that in mind: Moore of course. Dansby's a good option, but I think Maualuga going back outside would be a good get. Two receivers, Massaquoi and Heyward-Bey. Both should come relatively cheap, and I think they will fit well. HB and Graham can stretch the field and Stevie and Massaquoi are both excellet route runners with good hands.
  20. From what I gather, this will be happening more often at Google. They build their products using small, independent teams, but as these products get bigger they need to be integrated with each other. For instance, there are separate applications for Google Chat, Messanger, and Voice (I think there's another one out there too) and they can all have seperate logins and contact lists. You can sync them fairly easily, but it makes more sense to combine these programs into one system, using the best features from each.
  21. How do you figure?
  22. But the point is seamless synchronization between all platforms, which is already being done. Personally I don't think having one OS on all platforms matters as long as all of your devices have all of your info all the time.
  23. You keep acting like syncing platforms is some genius move, but it's not, it's just the obvious next step. Apple's been doing it with their Mac's and iPhone/iPads for a while, and even Google is already doing with Android phones and tablets and Chrome (browsers and OS). Microsoft will take forever to die because they dominated the market for so long. But compared to the "new guys", Microsoft is lumbering company that brings nothing new to the table.
  24. The fact that there are 12 months of varying days instead of 13 more equally aligned months. Who designed this crap?
