  1. I've had great times in NYC for a day/night trip. Any more than that and I can't wait to leave. But I plan on moving to and retiring in Montana when I'm able, so obviously I'm not the target for city life.
  2. NYC is one of the last places in the country I would choose to live. My sister lived there for awhile and I hated to visit even for a couple of days. But that doesn't change the fact that the market is there for this kind of place.
  3. Location, location, location.
  4. That was definitely Scent of a Woman. He's been playing a loud angry blind man since 1993.
  5. The Marv Levee Takeo's Wake
  6. We have one about 1 1/2 hrs away. Whenever we're in the area my wife and I try to go.
  7. I think that was what he was going for, but it is different. They made a point to explain that the Aliens had been there scoping out the planet before (history of crop circles, etc...). It's at least reasonable that aliens wouldn't have known about the long term downfall from bacteria. But how are they going to miss out on 70% of the planet? Also, War of the Worlds really shouldn't be considered a benchmark.
  8. Hudson Hawk is one of my favorite movies. Do people not like it? I think Unbreakable is M. Night's best movie. I agree with everything about Signs, but I just can't get over the water thing when it comes to that movie. If not for that, I would love it.
  9. http://bustedcoverage.com/2013/05/23/bama-fan-aspiring-model-kayla-earl-faked-being-assaulted-in-cemetary/ Definitely.
  10. The best you can do with patella problems is work around them. You have to work on flexibility and muscle of the entire leg. The flexibility will loosen things up so there's not so much pull on your knee through every move, and the more muscle you have throughout your leg, the less pressure on your patella. Both of my knees have patella tendinitis; a different condition but from what I understand the treatment is the same. The most annoying part about it is that it just doesn't heal. The pain can be managed with the above PT, but if you stop, it comes right back. As always, you should probably contact a doctor before doing anything, but you can look up leg flexibility exercises and lower body, body weight exercises for strength. Start slow and build consistently.
  11. This has nothing to do with the current society. Recent events make this that much more ridiculously stupid, but there is never a time when marching armed personnel into a movie theater would be a good idea. You never scare the hell out of people who are crowded into a tight space. Especially when you give them a direct target to focus their fear on. Idiots.
  12. That was the first thing I thought of too.
  13. I'm with you. Something about it just seems odd. I like the Reebok name and number T-Shirts. Good quality and comfortable. We'll see if they put out a Manuel this year.
  14. I agree with all of that. I would only add that while they have similar speed, I think the Rogers just moves better on the field. Change of direction, stop/start, etc... He's just able to do more things with his speed than Woods is. That said, between the two I would put all of my money on Woods to be the better pro.
  15. Not IMO, I know them both and understand what they are good at. Stevie is a mediocre athlete with a high IQ for the WR position. He knows how to run routes and move around the field to get open, and he knows what he needs to do to give his QB a target. He also drops perfectly thrown passes in the end zone to lose games (yes, just one example....there are plenty). Woods is still an unknown at the NFL level, but he's very similar to Stevie. I think he's a better athlete, but his real talent comes from his routes and field awareness. Rogers was simply more talented than everyone around him at the college level. Often that can be a negative when the NFL transition happens because they don't know how to be coached (see the early rumors about Geno Smith when he met with scouts/coaches). Based on his college career, I don't have a lot of faith that Rogers will come in ready to be taught, but I think coming in with Stevie as a vet presence and Woods as a fellow rookie can only be good for him.
  16. Talent wise, Rogers is probably the best of the bunch (including Stevie). He's all about attitude. If he comes in ready to actually learn how be a WR at the NFL level and can stay away from the booze and drugs, he could be the #1 WR on the team in a few years. He could also be stubborn and not learn anything or be suspended a few times and run out of the league.
  17. I'm still blown away by the support Bray has around here. He can't read defenses! He made more mind boggling throws than any other QB I watched last year. Yes, his arm is a cannon, but it's a wild cannon that has no apparent football intelligence. Like you said, his receivers were excellent, probably better than any other WR group in college outside of USC, and he was average with them.
  18. It may have been a pun.
  19. If you had said only 13 years old that might have made some sense.
  20. During the college season, I thought Nassib would be a 5-6th round pick. Givent he inflation of QB's in the draft, I think he went right where I would have expected him to go back then. I too got up in the pre draft buzz and expected him to go higher. In hindsight, the only QB that suprised me was Barkley. I've said it before, but I think Barkely's draft position was destroyed by a horrible college coach. I think Barkley should have gone in the second, and Philly got great value. Of course, I still don't understand how they will ever use him in that offensive system, but that's another story.
  21. I tried to search for this, but didn't see it. Bills get an overall C-, lowest of all 32 teams. Insider article: http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft2013/story/_/id/9200335/2013-nfl-draft-mel-kiper-gives-grades-every-nfl-team-draft
  22. You people are crazy. Bray is absolutely horrible. His entire career shows it, he wasn't draft, and still people think we should have taken him to make our team better? TJ and Kolb are both definitely better than Bray will ever be.
