Hot for Teacher Hot for Teacher (this kid's a stud)
Acantha replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
Eh, personally I think "18 is an adult" is too arbitrary. Why does that magical age make everything okay (I"m not talking legally). As for the teachers taking advantage of their position, I agree. They should be fired and never allowed to teach again. But rapists they are not. -

Yeah, he just happened to be in the neighborhood of two attractive teacher rapists. If a 16 year old female student voluntarily had sex with two of her teachers, I would not call her a victim or make the misguided claim that she was raped. -
I'm not sure of your point. Just trying to agree with me that it's a **** hole?

Yeah, pretty sure "sidewalk" isn't the first place on the list.

Except for JW music threads.

I went to India once for work. We were walking around the local area and a little kid was walking down the sidewalk naked, stopped, squatted and took a crap. Finished and just kept on walking. I always get a laugh out of people who talk about how beautiful India is because they've seen pictures of the Taj Mahal. India is mostly a disgusting shithole. EDIT: Hmmm...found a hole in the censor.

Syracuse, NY company - new wireless headphone technology

Yeah, like I said, their website says water resistant, but sweat proof. It just seems to me that given where they sit and the fact that they are advertised for working out, bike riding, etc... Seems to me heavy sweat against headphones that sit on the side of your head is similar to a heavy rainfall, no? And the reviews that I read on Amazon seem to agree. Most of the time they're alright, but with heavy sweat they have issues. But even those reviews say that outside of those issues, the headphones are great. Looks like vitamin shoppe has them available. -
Some grossness?!? 8.8 pounds!! I don't get it...things weren't bad enough when the hairball was 7 lbs to get it taken care of?

Odd, they say they are not waterproof, but they sweat proof. Any water damage will void the warranty. Seems odd that they could claim sweat "proof" but only water resistant. I just read some reviews on Amazon that say they are great headphones, but they wills top working with heavy sweat. -

I'm definitely curious about it. I have trouble finding ear buds that are both comfortable and secure enough that they don't fall when I'm working out. I think it would be something I would want to try before I buy. So much for reading the article. -
This is the end.

Yep, I was thinking the same thing. I have no idea what was going on in the background in regards to Fitz staying, but once that call leaked it was over. I liked Nix, but holy cow what a boneheaded mistake that was.

It means he doesn't care about Howard Stern or your opinion of him. His "question" wasn't sincere, merely the Howard Stern version of "common man".

Went back and looked at the NFL Rewind
Acantha replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Both throws were great. I disagree about interference on the Watkins play; that was a great play by the CB who was off balance and falling but still reached out and knocked the ball out of Watkins hands. The Chandler play was clearly interfered with, but I think the attention was probably on trying to watch the catch and his feet at the same time. Honestly, I think they called that an incompletion just because there's no way it should have been caught! -
I know he's not what he used to be, but if Matthews is out, he's the most dangerous weapon they have, especially in the red zone. I think any of CB's can handle Allen most of the day.
-
With Gilmore back in, they have the depth to keep a corner on Gates, and I see no reason why they wouldn't do this. I think Robey could hold him in check, but honeslty I would put whoever you think can handle him best, even CB1. That said, I expect them to try to cover with him with a LB and safety help.

NEWS: The peeling away of sponsors from the NFL has begun
Acantha replied to Hplarrm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep. Right now, Radison pulling their sponsorship is just another form of advertisement. "Hey look, we care about people so we're pulling our money from the NFL...LOOK AT US!!! They'll probably move their money to the NBA, cuase you know, raping and shooting people isn't hot right now. -
I'm trying, but they keep kicking me out of the meeting rooms. Seriously, why do people act like fans checking out entertainment driven articles is going to affect how the Bills play next Sunday? Get over yourselves already!

Watching those two catches makes me cringe. Great effort, but both of those plays could have resluted in jacked up WRs, especially the Woods catch. The only reason he wasn't destroyed is because the safety was watching the ball hoping for an Int if Woods couldn't pull it in. If he had gone for the straight tackle, Woods would have been blasted. EJ has to keep those throws down. Watching that Easly play over and over was great! That should have been on all of the post game shows. Even though the score was so close, we really embarrased a few of their players. The KW interception, Easly rag-dolling his blocker, and of course the stiff-arm (now two stiff arms!). Poor Konty; had the interception earlier in the game, but won't be remembered for anything but getting put on his arse.

Who should stay on with new ownership?
Acantha replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Brandon should stay, but with a different title. He's shouldn't be over the football guys, but anyone that can keep the seats filled as well as he has with a 14 year playoff drought will likely not get fired. You may not agree with every move, but since Whaley has had the reigns (AFTER Nix officially retired), this team has continued to get better. Getting rid of a young, well respected guy who is doing a good job of getting talent on the team is a bad idea. Chances are, we won't get better. Marrone is tougher for me. I don't really like him, but I also don't think he's had enough time to prove himself one way or the other. When all is said and done, I just don't think it will matter much. He hasn't been good enough to fear his release. -
? What's the question?

From what I remember (may be different now), CA is the only state that allows lane splitting. It's a ridiculous law and would be like one state just deciding that drinking and driving is fine. I can't imagine what is going through lawmakers heads allowing that, and even more so riders who do it in moving traffic, and as Chef said, speeding on top of it all. As a rider, I agree with him; !@#$ em.
