  1. Pretty much. Go ask a Ravens fan how they feel about Ray Lewis. I'd be surprised to hear "emabarassed" come up. I didn't see you're other post, but I"m not sure what you are implying here. Are you saying that Miami doesn't provide very many 1st round "stars"? Well, go look at some other schools and find out how many 1st round stars they produce. More 1st rounders go from Miami than any other school (possibly handing that torch to USC), and without looking up all the players/teams would bet they have one of the highest 1st round success rate. I hate Miami, but you're not really making a lot of sense.
  2. As weird as that is (and that is VERY wierd), at first I thought it said cat fetish. That would not have been a good link to click on. Oh...and of course the obligatory question: How exactly did you find that site???
  3. Do you try to walk into underage girl jokes?
  4. I believe it's called a "noose".
  5. I would really like the Ngata pick. Admittedly I only a couple Oregon games this season, and I wasn't really paying too much attention to himi, but every single write-up I've seen on him says he a stud DT that should dominate at the next level. Like all draft picks, it could go either way, but I really like what I'm hearing. A young DT that can anchor the line is priceless. My order of draft preference is: Mario Williams Ferguson Ngata Trade down (your trade down scenarios all look very good to me) I know Ferguson is great, but I think Williams will have more of an impact for his team. Best bang for the buck if you will. But really, there is no way either of those two fall to 8. We only have a chance if we trade down, and I"m against that no matter who the player is. Especially with Ngata available. With the second pick I think guard should be the choice. In order: Gilles Spencer Joseph These guys will all come in and start. Like I said before, I'm all for trading up to get two of these guys if at all possible.
  6. I voted yes as I think it will be a collaboration of the 3. And if it comes down to Marv making the decision, I'm comfortable with that. On a side note...how great would it be if we had a "Harry" in the front office?
  7. Cause even an inanimate object can get past our line.
  8. Mock Pick 8: Ngata Pick42: Nick Mangold C Ohio State Could go even higher and with this pick Trey Teague can be moved outside to left tackle. Scouting Report Very strange pick and explanation IMO. Especially since they have Eric Winston going to the Browns with the pick after ours. Also still on the board: 59: Davin Joseph 60: Max Jean-Gilles If the draft turned out like this, I would take Winston with our pick and then do everything I could to move up and grab Jean-Gilles later in the second. (both 3rd rounders would do it I think). While the first round looks good to me, I think his 2nd round his WAY off. But, if my scenario happened, Ngata/Winston/Max on day one would be pretty damn sweet!
  9. Exactly. I can't understand how people keep saying Seattle screwed themselves too, so who cares??? THAT MAKES NO DAMN SENSE!!! Every team, in every game, makes mistakes. It's the ability to overcome those mistakes with big plays that gets you the win. But when the refs are there to make sure you can't get those big plays....you can't win! A great example: On the Randle El pass, Ben threw a block by diving at a players legs. That block allowed Randle El time to set up and thrown the ball, which got them 7 points. A few plays earlier Hasselback was penalized for throwing that same block (I'll leave out the whole it was actually a tackle thing) for a huge loss. So, if the refs had called that same penalty (which had to be within 5 min of each other), that 7 points is called back and they are 15 yards further back. The refs let Pitt make their plays. They took Seattle's away.
  10. I'm flattered. Thanks!
  11. Oh c'mon...the burning bush was pretty damn funny.
  12. How long do you think it would take before Brady was a celebrity judge?
  13. Actually he put his hand up right away. Signaling the ball placement short of the endzone.
  14. Hmmm. Never heard it before. Must not hang in the right cirlces.
  15. The fact that you refer to it as a "glory" hole is very telling.
  16. It was just too much. It was too one sided. As much as the Bills have been screwed in the past, it was never like that. Of course this is all just my opinion. Doesn't bother me in the least if no one thinks the same. But as for me, there isn't a doubt in my mind that the Seahawks were purposefully screwed out of that game.
  17. The problem I have withy your whole argument is that Mularkey SUCKED!!! HE WAS A MORON! And he only proved it more when he took the play calling from Clements and things stayed the same!!! If someone is performing horribly at their job, then yes they can expect the boss to be hounding their ass on a regular basis. If Mularkey had shown any example of being a competant HC, then you could perhaps say that Ralph was being too obtrusive (and I will say again that just becuase some media dolts report it, doesn't for a second mean it's true!!!!!).
  18. Ya know how I know you're gay?
  19. "I can't help it. I just keep waiting for Keith Richards to suddenly drop dead."
  20. Wasn't that the play that he fumbled out of bounds? (ball went like 10 yards up field and out of bounds) Maybe another play? There was another play where the defender went to pick up the ball and it slipped out his hands and flew out of bounds. Though that may have had more to do with the whistles blowing...so he didn't try to really hang on.
  21. Florio (et al) are inconsequential. Those guys talking about it don't make it true. It's true becuase it obviously happened.
  22. Though you weren't nearly as "fair and balanced".
  23. Not to hijack the thread, but did you just say you didn't know why Horatio started laughing in the middle of a skit? That's all that guy ever does! I very rarely watch that show anymore, but I can't remember a skit where he hasn't started snickering or all out laughing. A horrible show, and he exemplifies what is wrong with it. Back to the topic...yes it was bad. For some reason the people singing the anthem seem to be under the impression that they have to "make their mark". While Whitney Houston's rendition is the one that all others will be judged by, it also did start this downward trend. Everyone thinks they can boost their fame by doing something "special". Most people would be plenty happy just hearing that song straight up.
  24. I was thinking the same thing. The "notes' during the game just sounds made up though. I have this vision of Ralph folding up a piece of paper and passing it down the line. IF that's true, and I just really doubt it, it would be a bad thing. Ralph has every right to say whatever he wants, for as long as he wants, during the week, but he needs to let his coaches coach on gameday.
