I haven't seen the commercial, but my initial guess would be that they start running commercials from here on out that include classic MNF moments. This was probably just the first. It's MNF history. They are not capitlizing on his death. No one would watch the show because they all of a sudden remembered that announcement. Nothing at all wrong with it IMO.

That was one of the historic events of MNF. During a time when MNF was much bigger, Cosell basically told America of Lennon's death.

I don't get the Pickler thing. I usually roll my eyes when people around here say something like "there's ten girls prettier than her working downtown, hyugh". But really, Pickler is every girl USA. She's a skinny blond...nothing beyond that. She acts like she has a 3rd grade education, and that "I'm so innocent" crap is grating. Basic looks, lacking intelligence, and no personality.

I think the LB comment just meant that if we put 4 LB's in, 3 of them are awsome. (I'm assuming because Posey has shown he can do well in a 3-4).

McPhee is the only reason I tune in. She's got the complete package. If she learns to loosen up on stage a bit, she should take the top prize. Everyone else can have their little plastic ice bunnies. I'll take McPhee 10 times out 10. It's good to have Taylor on the show. It gives those who would actually like to hear good music something to show up for. It will suck seeing him go.
