  1. He had one big game against GB in week 10. Other than that his numbers without Moss really don't scare me. Week 1: 5 TD / 242 / 0 Week 2: 1 TD / 245 / 0 Week 3: 3 TD / 360 / 0 int Week 4: Bye Week 5: 4 TD / 396 / 0 Week 6: 5 TD / 425 / 2 injury Week 7: 1 TD / 183 / 0 Week 8: 1 TD / 231 / 2 Week 9: 1 TD / 169 / 0 Week 10: 4 TD / 363 / 0 Week 11: 2TD / 233 / 1 One slow week prior to injury (vs Philly), one good week post injury. I'm not saying of for a second I don't think Culpepper is a dangerous QB to have in the division, but I just don't consider him a great QB. He is managable without a freak WR (here's hoping TO doesn't go there) and is coming off an injury that will force him into using his arm more.
  2. Wow...alright, for those who can't find things for themselves: Did you get that? Sure, I knew ya could.
  3. He did? I thought his numbers plummeted when Moss went out. I remember looking up those numbers when Moss left to prove the point that Culpepper needed him around. I don't remember the exact numbers, but they dropped.
  4. Read my post, then figure it out for yourself.
  5. Very good move by Detroit. And now that NO will get Brees, one of the "big 3" QB's a chance of falling to Detroit. Kitna is that perfect guy to start a couple years while Cutler or Young develope.
  6. He is an upgrade, but I'd rather have him in the division than Brees.
  7. Yeah, cause the brainchilds around here are certainly the way people should judge themselves. Moulds and a second is a bit high, but anyone who has seen Shaub play knows he has proven himself more than Losman...or Holcomb for that matter. Shaub is a good QB who will prove himself once he gets away form Atlanta. He is very comfortable on the field, makes great reads, and throws the ball accurately both long and short. I'd give up a third for him no problem.
  8. Bills | Pickett heads to Buffalo Mon, 13 Mar 2006 22:13:10 -0800 Bob McGinn, of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, reports free agent DL Ryan Pickett (Rams) left Green Bay Monday, March 13, and was headed to Buffalo to meet with the Buffalo Bills. The Bills new defensive line coach Bill Kollar served as Pickett's position coach for five years with the St. Louis Rams. Packers | Pickett leaves without signing contract Mon, 13 Mar 2006 22:12:48 -0800 Bob McGinn, of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, reports free agent DL Ryan Pickett (Rams) left Green Bay Monday, March 13, knowing how much the Packers want him, but without signing a contract. Maybe the timing was screwed up, but it looks like he is coming in.
  9. I'm jumping on that bandwagon now! I'd go buy some Cardinals gear...but their colors are red white and black...and their mascot is a cardinal. Oh well.
  10. Lions | Bradford signed to four-year deal Mon, 13 Mar 2006 12:22:21 -0800 Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the Detroit Lions have signed free agent WR Corey Bradford (Texans) to a four-year, $7.4 million contract that includes a $2 million signing bonus.
  11. Obviously everyone already knows this, but Snyder is nothing but a buisness man. It has been posted many times how much he charges for seats/boxes/parking, etc... How do you keep people spending money for years to come? Give them name players. That's all he's doing. Anyone who thinks Randle El is worth even close to that much money knows (cares) nothing about football.
  12. yeah, but another DT signing really opens up the draft for the OL. There are some really good guards coming out this year. In a trade down situation it would be possible to get 3 starters for the line out of this draft. Obviously too much youth on the line won't be great this year...but really, this year isn't gonig to be our year anyway.
  13. With Hutch's tag money off the books, Seattle will be able to sign a couple players, including Bernard if they want him.
  14. It would be interesting to see what they want. I'm sure it's more than we can afford.
  15. It's practice. What does that mean? As I've said before, putting our eggs in one basket with Peters at LT is a very dangerous move.
  16. Because he hasn't PLAYED LT. Tendancies do not guarantee he will be good on the other side of the line. Making the switch from RT to LT is huge. It's not easy.
  17. Not right now it wouldn't. Just blitz.
  18. Kind of worries me at the same time. With stats like that you would think he would be in more. Especially on a team like the Browns who didn't have great WRs. When he's not breaking big plays he must be doing something wrong. Bad route runner? Doesn't block? I don't know. As a slot WR I guess it can't be too bad.
  19. Check out his stats in 2004. Played in 7 games, started each one, had 16 catches for 416 yards! Those are just weird looking stats.
  20. Which makes our top 5 WRs Moulds/Evans/Davis/Parrish/Aiken (Fast Freddie in case of injury). That's a nice group.
  21. Which is why, since this signing, I am on the bandwagon (or trolly car) for Bernard. He led the league in DT sacks last year, and would be a good compliment for Tripplett. These guys wouldn't be the "one huge guy, one fast guy" team that is so popular now, but together they would be tough to hold. Both guys can get into the backfield and cause enough disturbance on the line to fill running lanes. As far as I can tell Bernard hasn't been anwhere. He was supposed to be a lock for St. Louis, but then they signed Glover. Signing him would also open up that number 8 pick.
  22. I wish I had more personal knowledge of Davis. Everything I read says that he is not a number 2 WR. I'm not sure Evans/Davis/Parrish is a great thing.
  23. 13 minutes behind.
