  1. I'm having no trouble at all.
  2. I bet in 2011 we'll be just one or two years away....
  3. Ezekial? Why does he keep being brought up? Other than the fact that he is on the depth chart, has he shown that he has the capacity to be a starter? If Fletcher walks after this year, I would hope Ezekial isn't the plan for the future.
  4. My guess is he's asking himself that same question.
  5. With the money they have left and Fletcher's level of play, I could see (and be happy with) a nice 3 year extension.
  6. Prediction: He never plays again. Don't worry, I don't think I've ever been right on a prediction.
  7. Your right, we dont' know yet. But from the minimal reports available I would say he would have been much better off with a helmet. Flying over his handle bars into a windshield and bleeding heavily from the head are telling statements.
  8. I don't wish any harm to the guy, but if he's hurt due to not wearing a helmet I have no sympathy either. I used to ride, but have since sold my bike due to seeing too many friends badly hurt or killed in accidents. The risk, given that far too many accidents are caused by "the other guy", is just not in line with the reward...even though I loved riding. But even when I rode, I never understood those idiots who were so adamant about not wearing a helmet. It was if helmet laws were on par with a military draft. "YOU CAN'T TELL ME HOW TO LIVE MY LIFE!!!!". Whatever. I've never had any sympathy for people who die becuase they are too stubborn to use basic safety...especially when it doesn't even impede with the joy of riding. It would be nice to hear that he is okay, but any additional injuries to his head he has brought on himself.
  9. How many Mike's are there? Are they related? You are much kinkier than I would have guessed.
  10. You know, I keep reading that, and still can't believe I'm seeing a "B" in front of the "illion".
  11. I think most of the top RB's take a "bit" of a hit this year. Alexander because of a slight decline in OL, LT because of Philip Rivers and because I think defenses started to figure him out torwards the end of the year, Edgerin James because....well that's obvious. I think Larry Johnson is the only one who doesn't have something going against him this year. And I would only rank RB's in my to 3 or 4. Only Manning in the top 5 other than RB's. I guess as it stand right now, LJ is my choice if given the number 1 pick, with Alexander a close second. James and Tomlinson will probably have good years though, so I wouldn't make an argument against them if they were picked first. Another question is which rookie would you pick first, and about where. Bush would be a good gamble early (probably first round) without Duece on the team. With him, I don't know. Vincy Young? I think he's going to be a bust for his draft position, but he'll probably get some fantasy points based on scrambling. It's too far away to know how to rank these guys yet. If I had to guess now, I think I would be willing to take Vernon Davis earliest....given his talent and the fact that he is playing with a young QB likely to need an outlet. Though I'd bet he's treated more as a WR, sees a lot of CB's in coverage.

  13. I'm pretty sure I saw the Jim Kelly/OCC bike in there.
  14. Whoa. That is one uuuuuugly bike.
  15. Best kiss, not longest.
  16. 3. Chris Kelsay 4. The Menu Song
  17. There will be now.
  18. I don't consider the fact that these guys aren't at the OTA's a big deal at all. The only player I was concerned with was Clements...and that wasn't showing up, it was just signing. Once he signed, he could go and work out, talk to coaches, get the playbook, etc... You don't have to be at an OTA to hear the new terminology and learn plays. You can do that with a playbook. And there is going to be plenty of time to adjust and get comfotable in mandatory camps. And that "unspoken expectation" is far more from the team than the players. The rookies "need" to be there. Would it be better if all the Vets were there? Sure, just not enough that it should be an issue. Weren't there years with GW that everyone showed up? Maybe even with MM, can't remember. How well did that turn out? 100% participation is good for nothing but headlines.
  19. There really is no point in cutting someone exactly on June 1st. I would expect there would be delays from now through training camps. And Bannister is no different than the other 5 average WR's we have.
  20. More than that, I just can't see Holcomb starting with the WR's they have brought in. You just can't have a weak armed QB starting when you have the fastes group of WR's in the leage. The deep ball MUST be a constant threat if this offense is going to have a chance.
  21. Darn....I even looked though the thread to see if it was there before I posted....missed it in the sea of quotation marks!
  22. This would be fitting in another thread.
  23. I read this earlier... What's the deal with the dog?
  24. I wonder if the NFL football gods are like NFL players and refs, and they have to be really good college and semi-pro (CFL?) football gods before they can move up to the big time?
