  1. Well, the 40 yards on 18 carries does give it away.
  2. Losman: 5/5 Holcomb: 4/4 133 yard passing to 5 different receivers. What the hell's going on?
  3. Listening online they got the first off a short pass. Said Bills CB's were lined up 8 yards off the ball on 3rd and short.
  4. Not to take anything away from anyone (Buffalo looks great on both sides of the ball tonight), but just so it's out there: Detroit is without 9 starters tonight, 7 on offense, 3 on the O line.
  5. Uh oh. Anyone else see Moorman limping off the field? Better give Setta a call.
  6. I would also take that deal. With the number 1 pick your team is 1 injury....or just down year....from being bottom dwellers. With extra picks you can have a very solid starting lineup every week.
  7. I think it had more to do with the fact that there was an open competition through training camp, which has just ended. The 3rd, and for the sake of starting lineup competition most important, preseason game just finished and the coaches had time to look though all the tapes and make their decision. Now, I'm sure they knew a couple of weeks ago JP was going to start, but for the sake of not "handing JP the job", they waited until the competition was offically over before announcing the decision. This was the whole point in having an open competition in the first place. I'm pretty sure the announcment would have come around the same time whether or not the fans and players were in agreement or not.
  8. I don't think either would be bad, but in a 12 man league I'd say as long as they are close...always take the RB.
  9. I agree with how you're reading it. These people will wear you down. There are just too many stupid people in the world with nothing better to do.
  10. My guess is it will be up in a few minutes. I'm in and able to move around/change things.
  11. Just got in the draft room!
  12. I tried gettin in with IE, and no go. I opened another FF window, and it still let me in. Maybe it's the login that's not letting people in? Cookies are keeping me in in Firefox.
  13. I've had the site up from the start, so I guess that's why. Seems strange though since I can refresh, change screens...do whatever. I can move around the site just fine. Just the draft page won't open.
  14. It appears the chat room over there is working now.
  15. I'm around. I'll be here for a while, but it's a lot later here than there, so probably not hours or anything.
  16. It was working around 7 when I logged in. Then I went to get in the chat room around 715 and couldn't go. Hopefully it clears up in a few minutes.
  17. I'm on the site, but can't get into the chat room or change any of my settings....including the queue which I may need.
  18. That's sounds pretty amazing. Is there a web site for that?
  19. THROW THE BALL!!! We've all been there.
  20. Everything looks really good to you.
  21. You're right about McNabb. I'm pretty sure I picked him up in the 8th round. I take QB's very late usually, and at that point I couldn't pass him up. Kitna was one of my last picks, but I don't think it will be much of a problem. As long as I dont' need him early, I think he'll do okay at filling in. There are a lot of recievers on that team, plus Kevin Jones is supposed to be a bigger part of the passing game. Kitna is a solid QB that will move the ball, and I think once he hits his stride again he'll put up pretty good fantasy numbers for a backup. I think my year is going to made or broken if one of these guys can get into a LJ situation. If Foster goes down, Williams could save my season. We are actually probably adding another bench position to this league, and if so I will fill it with another WR. Though I dont' know who at this point becuase they are all below average. Hell, I may even take a flyer on Price. (seriously, WR FA's are stripped down already) Thanks for the input.
  22. Paz Vega
  23. No, not because he was slated to go earlier, but because he is a talented player that was picked at a great time in the draft. And the judgement of my analytical skills from the guy who insisted that we cut Travis Henry because there was no way we would get a pick for him (and then refused to admit he was wrong), pretty much means nothing.
  24. It should also be looked at that the, "stupid, inexplicable emphasis on yet more defensive backs," is nothing but overdramatic crap. We NEEDED safety....right? You can argue about where the safety was taken, fine, but it was NEEDED. Whitner was taken. Clements is gone next year, so drafting a young CB was a must. Youboty fell to the third round and was a great pick at to do just that. So really, I guess the "stupid, inexplicable" part falls on Ko Simpson. But it wasn't planned to draft Ko Simposon. I doubt it was even planned to draft a FS. But when you have a guy like Ko drop to the second day of the draft, you grab him. It was a pick of opportunity. And Marv said he wanted to draft Kyle Williams at that point, but everyone convinced him to take Ko, so we didn't even lose out on anything. Yes, we could have, and probably even should have, taken OL earlier. But with Lawyer Milloy being cut and Vincent and Clements likely gone next year, that "stupid inexplicable emphasis on defensive backs" most likely saved our defense from being a sieve next year.
