  1. WR, DE, TE, LB, OT all mattered a little in this draft. DT mattered a little when we used a 3rd for Stroud. G, OT, LB, RB mattered when we spent boat loads of money and high draft picks on them last year.
  2. All of the Gators talent left LAST year. All of the juniors that even remotley had a shot at making the draft took off last year (and many of them screwed up because they weren't NFL ready yet) in an effort to take advantage of the publicity winning the championship gave them. I think a lot of the juniors this year took note of what happened and stuck around. Meanwhile, Harvey left and cashed in on the championship game more than any of the guys who came out last year!
  3. Mines in the mail. Found a good deal on line and I won't have time to play it until Sunday anyway. I'm glad this came out before football season!
  4. No, as very general view, that's about right. When talking about their individual personalities, I don't have a very high opinion of them. There is a certian character type that's drawn to police work, and even those that don't fall into that category become that way by being surrounded by it. Like I said, most of my life I"ve been surrounded by cops, and to this day still have lots childhood friends that are cops. And they all know how I feel, and most, once I can focus them long enough to actually hear what I"m saying instead of flying off the handle right away, agree with me. It's a testerone driven career that is full of dominant peronalities. Add to that the stress that the job adds to their lives, it just becomes a mess.
  5. Why, because I have an unpopular opinion? I grew up around cops and have worked with cops for most of my life. I don't have a bad opinion of the profession and I am almost always on their side when it comes to situations like this (as I am with this specific situation). But my opinion of "most" cops as people is pretty much set and comes from lots of experience. So basically, kiss my ass.
  6. Good deal! Hopefully the weather's nice for you. It's been hit or miss the last few weeks. What do you teach?
  7. As for commercials, right now I'm loving this one: Linky
  8. I was HERE just over a week ago! He's awesome.
  9. Watching the interview on BB.com. Forget schools, don't parents teach these kids to talk anymore?
  10. Apparently that wasn't nuff said.
  11. Listening to the scouts, they love the guy. They seem pretty damn excited to have him. Doesn't really mean anything, but usually during those interviews everyone's so stoic, it's nice to see some emotion.
  12. Well, we did actually draft a LB and DE, depth type players. So....
  13. This is what I was thinking too, which is why I didn't like the second day picks. The only thing I can say in defense of the FO is that last year wasn't a great indication of where this team actually is due to all the injuries. We're really not just adding two starters from this draft, but all of the guys who we lost last year, including guys like Simpson and Poz. Here's hoping.
  14. I get the joke, but DW's highlight video kind of sucked.
  15. I voted C, but I think the first day was an A. I just completely disagree with the strategy of day 2.
  16. Not a Saban fan by any stretch of the imagination, but yeah, you can't blame him for this draft class. His team played a lot better last year than I expected them to, and he's bringing in a great class this year. Don't like the guy, but he's a good college coach.
  17. Need starters at: TE OC OG FB Depth at: DE, LB, DT, S
  18. Here's a link to the first pick coverage: McKelvin
  19. On a far more pleasant note, I LOVED the booing during the Pats* picks! I'm sure Goodell will keep that in mind.
