  1. Yeah, after about a year of union paperwork and appeals.
  2. T-Mobile seriously has a great marketing department!
  3. Yeah, I don't think it's been out long enough yet for that reality to really start setting in for most people; especially parents.
  4. I moved away after the 6th grade, but I did graduate in 97.
  5. Mine too! The news out of there is rarely proud!
  6. Well, I guess you had to say SOMETHING.
  7. I think some serious research needs to go into photo related deaths. I think we're going to need to start doing background checks and issuing concealed camera licenses.
  8. Being out and enjoying your company and surroundings > Being out with company and playing a game on a screen > sitting in your house staring at a computer or phone with no social interaction So your point is to trash people doing something better just because it isn't the ideal. How very America of you.
  9. I think they are? I don't play and don't plan on it, but really what's the harm here (well, you know...for the people that AREN'T breaking the law)?? People are out of their houses, often hanging out with others or groups of others (I've seen pictures of big groups of people walking around Albuquerque). Friends are doing it together. Parents are taking their kids out. Seriously, seems like harmless fun to me (again, sans law breakers).
  10. I have to say I'm really surprised by Madam Secretary. Not normally my kind of show, but somehow I watched a few episodes and got (sort of) hooked. I watch on Netflix after the season is released, and it's binge worthy IMO.
  11. That CB has his eyes on Hogan. When Hogan breaks his route, the CB stops to follow. The Safety has the deep route, but he's not nearly in position to stop a good throw to Woods. The pre snap read gives a good indication that Hogan will have some space underneath the coverage, and Taylor reads it and makes a good play. The Woods option would have been more on the fly. Taylor is young, and made the high probability play. To make leaps in his game and be the QB we all hope for, he'll make that TD throw.
  12. IMO, either is correct. Hogan was the safer option, but with an accurate pass, that's a TD to Woods close to the end of the half against an opponent that kicks our ass year in and year out, on their home field. The Hogan pass was safe. A Woods pass is what a true "go to" QB does.
  13. The media will do what they do, but IMO it's going to be hard to over dramatize what's really going on in the country right now. Between real threats to constitutional rights (for better or worse...that's not my point right now), racial tension that is already starting to blow up, open hostility between economic classes, fear of terrorism (foreign and domestic), and overall economic uncertainty we're in a pretty dangerous time.
  14. Definitely, but it really shouldn't. Putting the cap in place shouldn't affect the amount of $ the top players are getting, only spread them out some more. If a few players want to build a "big 3" team, they just have to agree to all take less money. Of course that won't happen, but the choice is there. IMO, this is absolutely the best thing for the NBA, players included. I think once the best players start spreading out they'll realize that being a big fish in a small pond isn't so bad. It will also really benefit the mid-level talent since there will be more competition for their services to compliment the star power, not to mention the younger, developing players, since their contracts will be more desirable. The only downside is the media and relative ease of being on a super team, and that only benefits a handful, and only for a few years at a time. The other 95% of the members of the players union should really see this and not let a few players have their way....like they do on the court.
  15. Carried out by IS and sponsored by Amazon.com.
  16. You mean because they came to LA to play with him? It's not Kobe was alone his whole career.
  17. I don't blame the players at all. Why wouldn't you want to go to a stacked team where you don't have to work as hard for 90% of the season and still get deep in the playoffs? IMO, the dilemma is that there is too much money toward the salary cap now. In a sport with 5 starters, there shouldn't be enough cap space on any one team to afford 3 superstars. If the NBA wants a more competitive league that's the only way to get it done. But honestly, it seems to me that the NBA is gaining in popularity the last few years, so I'm guessing it's not an issue to them.
  18. I don't know anything about golf, but isn't the 6 under par-9 hole pretty awesome for an 8 year old?
  19. I tend to fly United a lot because they have most of the flights out of my local (very small) airport. I've never had any issues with them that I haven't had on other airlines. Though I pretty much always expect it given all of the bad feedback I hear about them. So far I guess I've been lucky. Yep. A customer oriented airline that charged for the service wouldn't even get off the ground (pun intended) in the U.S.
  20. His book is pretty awesome. Long, but quite the read. As for the grazing, it has to be done a very specific way to get the benefits. The modern day agricultural system doesn't fit his model, which is why we have the problems. Unlikely to matter to big Ag, but there is a grassroots following for it (MIG, mob grazing, etc...).
  21. Hey Ricky, sorry your mom blew up.
  22. Go that way. Really fast. If something gets in your way......turn.
