  1. Before you mock it ... THINK about it. Ray Lewis is a fun linebacker. Outspoken, dances, calls people out. As I said. Fun.
  2. With a shootout! Solid Miller ... solid
  3. I beg to differ. The Saints needed to take Bush because he was one of the best and funnest college runningbacks of the past decade ... now if their is some amazing LB that is going to this years draft who is one of the best of the past decade then let me know.
  4. Look at my original post. Without a huge game against the pitiful Lions, his stats are kinda just agh ... nothing special. Yet if you look at other QB's and you take out their best game then their stats are still good. Listen. Im not saying that Grossman is bad. I think he is very talented. But 3 of his 4 games are decent games. He had 1 great game against a bad team. Also. You played 2 bad teams, 1 decent team, and 1 good team without the league MVP.
  5. This is going to be tough to beat for tard of the week ... JoeSixPack has some serious competition.
  6. Of course. In no way do I mean its an easy win. But if we can pull off an upset in Chicago then we should be riding a pretty good wave into Detroit.
  7. I would be happy for a month. Heck I would be elated if that happened because then our next 3 games are: Detroit - W NE - W b/c were at home GB - W we go into Indi with a 6-2 record
  8. Funny you mention that because they remind me a lot of the Seahawks of 2 years ago ... doing great and a SB pick, until they walked into NE and got their butts handed to them.
  9. AJ Hawk has showed what so far???? anyway ... we dont NEED LB's
  10. For goodness sakes. Yes they look very good, and yes we are a huge underdog, but for goodness sakes ... we are FANS ... were suppose to be talking about our team winning. I dont think anyone thought (including Las Vegas odssmakers) that the Jets could beat Indi and by goodness if they didnt leave Peyton 2:00 minutes to drive then they would have beaten Indi. The Chicago Bears are playing inspired football. They are also starting a QB who has only started 5 games in the past two years. They are good and they are 4-0 ... but lets face it. We should be ATLEAST 3-1 and possibly 4-0 if we could just score against the Jets when we should have (3 attempts from the 2 yard line - bootleg), fake field goal ...etc Now instead of kissing their butt for the stuff they are good at lets look at a few things: They have played Greenbay, Detroit, Minnesota (who nearly won it), and Seattle* A combined record of 6-10 ... ** Seattle was playing without their MVP Note: Minnesota gave them a wild game and was leading with about a minute left if I remember right. They are ranked 21st in rushing offense (thats good considering our run defense usually is not good) The next coming of Jim Kelly, AKA, Rex Grossman actually has 4 TD's and 3 INT's, for 772 yards when taking away a cake walk of a game against Detroit at the Bears home opener. Looks like Losman numbers dont they? NOTE: He has yet to throw for over 300 yards even though he has faced Detroit, Greenbay, and Minnesota. Oh yeah - Losman also has a better completion percentage. Chicago is 4th in the league in penalty yards giving up 260 yards of Penalties. An everage of 65 a game. Anyway ... I just figured I would give a positive post out of all the negativity floating around.
  11. People who post such replys as this should be banned for stupidity ... the energy he simply brings is enough to warrant him making the money he does. You could see it on the first Patriot offensive play. He was pumped - that made the defense pumped - and he flew through that line and forced a fumble. Tell me. Since that play how many LB's have you seen burst through the hole like he did .... tweet, tweet. Ill give you the answer. None. Takeo is a HUGE part of this defense, if not for his play, but simply for his attitude, charisma, and energy he brings to the table. The guy is pure energy on the field. And to the 2nd quote - Ellison is doing a GREAT job as a rookie. Why would you draft a LB when we have Spikes, Crowell, and Fletcher? Dont waste a pick on a LB? Maybe a 6th or 7th rounder ... but the early rounds should focus on Lineman.
  12. Yeah Chargers-Bills or Bills-Colts is our best chance .... the original poster is right. Bears-Patriots is guaranteed in my opinion that one week ...
  13. We still have a chance. It just depends on the records of the teams. If Week 13 comes down to a 8-4 chargers VS 8-4 Bills competing against the 6-6 Cowboys VS 7-5 Giants (just an example) then I think Buffalo gets the nod. As a rule I think most AFC games will get the nod over NFC games because there is more competition in the AFC. I think Week 10 is our best shot. Being a Billsaholic I believe we have a shot at going 5-3( beating Det, NE, and GB) or *cross-your-fingers* 6-2 against the 7-1 Colts then I think we have a good chance of getting the game.
  14. Your logic makes as much sense as Haynesworth's stomp ... records dont matter when it comes to statement games. There have been VERY GOOD teams in years past that started out 1-3 and then went to the playoffs. It didnt mean they werent a good team. Just means they had a bad start. Just because the Bills are 2-2 instead of 3-1 does not mean that this is not a statement game. Thats ridiculous. The Bills very well should have beaten the Patriots.
  15. Then you shouldnt be upset by stuff like this. I have been a Bills fan since I was born and this seems to be the re-occuring them for many years.
  16. How long have you been a fan of the Bills??? This should in no way suprise you.
  17. Dumb dumb dumb me ... mods can delete this now
  18. Im simply afraid another team will pick him up ... train him for a year and then watch him blossom next year. He does have talent .... somewhere inside of him
  19. I wouldnt mind picking him up ... he was a 1st round draft pick just a few years ago and I think Clements could teach him some stuff
  20. I also sit in the clubs when i go to games but why would you get over someone climbing over a row. especially if you have more room than other rows . it saves people hassle
  21. I think its funny that no one is allowed to buy beer after half-time unless your in the Jim Kelly, Van Miller, or Paul MaGuire clubs. Then you can buy beer all game.
