  1. I think the arguement is because they have nothing to do and is playing for pride??? Personally when the Bills were 0-4 or 0-5, I never thought we were more dangerous than when we were 3-2 or 4-1.
  2. Because he yelled at his coach??? The cameras simply need to angle away and it wouldnt be a problem ... would it?
  3. I agree completely ... T.O. is not the problem. The media is.
  4. A proper nice post ... And an improper, jerky post. Alright fair enough. Lets not talk about 2005. Lets just talk about 2004. They were 9-1 with TO and 3-2 without him. But yeah I do get your point about McNabb being out. I wasnt thinking of that ...
  5. This is his second straight contract year ...
  6. How many Bills games do you go to every year? I just challenge you to keep your eyes on Nate Clements EVERY SINGLE defense play and watch how many plays he blankets his receiver and how many plays he does not. He is a GOOD CB and I am not the only one who thinks so. Their are going to be MANY teams bidding for his services if we let him go into free agency ... and they are willing to pay him the big money for a reason. Thats my entire point ... they use the same cushion scheme. If your going to blame the scheme then look at other players who use it.
  7. True. But how do you argue with that record difference? Thats huge.
  8. Yes Im from Rochester. What does that have to do with anything? I love the Buffalo Bills just as much as anybody. Moving on. No im not willing to give up tailgating and about 40,000 other people who thrive to tailgate are not going to want to give tailgating up either. Moving a stadium downtown does not guarantee us staying in Buffalo. Personally I dont see us staying here as a huge problem. I think that someone will buy us here before we have the chance to be moved out of town. Heinz Field is not in downtown Pittsburgh ... its actually across the river from downtown Pitt. Solder Field. I honestly dont know much about it, but by looking at pictures it looks like it is a decent place to put a stadium because the thruway is right there and you can just hop on and go. Your not stuck in roads for endless ammounts of time to get to the thruway. Now look at these pictures: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/comm...x-Searsview.JPG -and- http://www.motlabs.com/pics/galleries/0724...ar/dscf0015.jpg They have 2 huge parking lots and another medium size parking lot. That helps A LOT Mile High I know nothing about But anyway. Good luck on your dream of having a stadium downtown. As one poster above put it ... their simple is no room. Its not going to happen.
  9. No i heard from common sense . mark it down . moss is not going to NE
  10. You average more posts per day than I do ... unless Im not getting what you meant by that last comment. But anyway . Yes they went to 3 straight conference championships. They lost them all also. Owens was not in the Conference Championship they were in but he was a big part of them getting there (in the regular season). Lets face it, he was averaging nearly 6.5 receptions a game for 100 yards and 1.1 Touchdowns before he was injured (on a tackle that is now illegal). Over a season that translates out to 104 receptions for 1600 yards and 17.6 Touchdowns ... They were 15-4 with Terrel Owens and 5-9 without Terrel Owens ... so anyway my point is that its pretty hard to argue that he did NOT improve that team mightily.
  11. Mark my words. California will have another team before Toronto does ... and Buffalo is not going anywhere. Someone, Golisano whomever will keep the team in Buffalo. People are worrying over nothing. Not to mention you posted articles from 3 ridiculous news sources. Have you been to a downtown NFL stadium yet?
  12. 1. Where in that quote did it say backup? 2. Oakland is the worst team in the league.
  13. Thats fine with me. This is an easy bet. Bills fans are the only one's who believe he is not still a capable starter.
  14. I understand what your saying. Thats my stance with T.O. --- I dont care whether he has a big mouth or is a distraction as long as he catches footballs and touchdowns. Everyone else cares though ... they dont remember how he instantly made the Eagles better. Oh well.
  15. This shows your gross lack of football knowledge ... the cushion is part of the scheme that a TON of teams use including the Falcons with DeAngelo Hall (who many think is a great corner) and watch Champ Bailey play a few games. He gives cushion on nearly half the plays he goes. So we are not going to pay a darn fine corner the money so we can pick up a CB in the draft, mold him, and then ship him off when he wants the money and do this over and over and over? think about it due Wow. Someone understands. I think if the people on this thread went to the games and watched Nate just flat out play, you would see how good he is. He shuts down good WR's (such as Steve Smith last year) throughout the entire game and gives up a play or two. Thats all you can expect. People on TV dont realize this and see him give up a play and thinks he sucks. For goodness sakes people. Open your eyes. He is in the top 4 CB's in the league right now and deserves to be paid it because if he is not paid it, he will go to another team and we will be stuck with a roookie CB from the draft and 3 second year players in our secondary
  16. Uhm. Is Lancaster no longer part of WNY???????? I always thought it was. Its simple dude. RWS is worse to get out of than A LOT of stadiums. Of course their are wose, but their are also a lot better. We built in a small town and now were paying for it. I park across from the 7-11 in some dudes lot and it takes me about 20-25 minutes to get towards the thruway and then another 1 1/2 hour to get home. I dont mind it, but sooner or later some Syr/Roc/Tor fans are going to get tired and stop coming. Even if we had a new stadium what makes you think a new owner would care?
  17. He may have tweaked his hand or leg (although I think the leg thing was 2004) ... but if your HURT your out of the game. He played. Again. You are kidding yourself if you think that someone is not going to sign him and start him as soon as he learns the system. He is still a legit starter in this league and you will see that soon enough.
  18. Because most people have not been to a game with a stadium downtown. They just "think" it will be great, and they all think it will boost economy ... well how? The local bars will get a little extra revenue but imagine the thousands of bear cans and trash littering the street after every game. Goodness.
  19. Dude. Have you ever been to a Bills game? Parking is pathetic and walking isnt much fun either. I have been to many games and other stadiums have much easier driving/parking and even walking situations. Sounds weird but its true. Now think about what your saying. If you stuck a new stadium in urban farm land we would have all the space we needed to make as many parking lots/roads to get out as possible. Right now they turn abbot road into a friggin 3 lane exit and 1 way in ... that sucks for people going back the opposite way. If you stick it in Lancaster build 3 roads going one way and 3 going the other way and just get the people on the highway where they can go.
