  1. Willis is definately not back to the speed he was in college, but dont let the media confuse you ... any RB would have gotten dragged down before the endzone on that particular play. The DB (and I think safety?) were a heck of a lot closer than anyone seems to want to remember. He burned past about 5 players and then past the secondary, but their was still a few DB's just a half yard away or so.
  2. Your welcome to your opinion, but their still are games where I wish we had Bledsoe once in a while. Not all the time ... but once in a while.
  3. The reason I said "sometimes yes, sometimes no" is because he does have games where he throws that game ending INT, and their is also games where he throws for 2 TD's and 0 INT (9/17) (10/15), and 3 TD's 0 INT (9/11/05) (10/09/05) (12/11/05) So as I was saying. Somtimes YES and sometimes NO. Just like JP isnt the main reason were losing now, Bledsoe wasnt the main reason we were losing then.
  4. Agh! Well that for that I am sorry. I will try to be clearer next time.
  5. To be honest, I actually was thinking which arguement I was in. About 3 people are going at it with me in this thread.
  6. 105 yards spread over 7 games is not to great ... sorry but 15 yards a game does not seperate a winner and a loser. In the Bills situation atleast. If you look at other running backs TD's they usually come from 1-5 yard plunges from within the redzone. Heck, S. Alexander had (well it seemed like) 20, 1 yard Td's last season. Jacobs has 7, 1 yard TD's (according to todays broadcast. Tiki Barber has 0 Td's. So whats your point again? Tiki Barber sucks>?
  7. Uhm . Look below . What type of message does that send to the judge and/or jury? It shows that you give credence to the validity of the oppositions case. When you do that, it makes you less believable. Period.
  8. While scrolling through Colts history I found that harbaugh and kelly got into a confrontation in which harbaugh broke his hand ... anyone know the actual story behind this? I cant remember this at all ...
  9. There it is. Owens, Glenn, and Jones is a great combo. I like Evans, but he is no T.O. and Price is decent, but he is not even close to Glenn ... and everyone on this board cant stand Willis. So yeah.
  10. Thats because he had good pocket awareness .... right DIBS
  11. No my point is that his 0-line constantly blocks for him in the regular season but gets overwhelmed in the playoffs when they are constantly blitzed. Its not that his pocket awareness was any better or worse. His statue-ness is just truly being shown. Those 15 yards are exactly why our line sucks right?
  12. Thread last week? I would have to see who the Colts signed as far as offensive lineman in the 1997 off-season ... Manning also had nearly 30 Interceptions that year. Sounds to me like he threw the ball away when their was pressure and it was intercepted..
  13. Jacobs is also a guy who is only on the team for that one purpose ... to get those 1-2 yards and thats it.
  14. Maybe you should turn ESPN on now. Their talking about how bad Dallas's line sucks. Letting Arrington into the backfield, allowing Bledsoe ZERO time to throw. Another play where they let 3-4 defenders in which resulted in a failed flee flicker. Another sack where Bledsoe had about 2 seconds to throw. ESPN > teach Bart
  15. Are you kidding. I was playing along this entire time for fun, but this is where you lose me. Manning has one of the best lines in the NFL. Period. Pocket awareness my butt. He seems to lose his "pocket awareness" everytime he is in the playoffs.
  16. No my point was that you can have a good running line and a bad pass-blocking line. Thus look at the Bills. Not matter how McGahee got the yards, he is STILL in the top 5 in the league ... yet JP routinely has little time to throw. Thus my point. You can have a good running line (or just a darn good running back), and a bad-blocking line. BTW: The more mobile Tony Romo has been intercepted once because of immediate pressure, and sacked twice in 2 quarters of play ... Question: Did you watch that safety play?
  17. The Tiki Barber situation made me wonder ... If an NFL player decides to retire in the middle of his contract how does that affect the team monetarily?
  18. Still not getting the point ... are you? How about Manning? He is a statue .... I believe they carve him before every game.
  19. I have always liked it since I was young ... Whats your point? He is still in the top 5 of rushing and that was the point try again Refer to where I said that I dont believe Bledsoe is great ... just gets more slack than what he deserves. People are willing to make a billion excuses for Losman (whom I do like) and none for Bledsoe. Give me a break.
  20. Listen. Im certainly not saying that Bledsoe is a great QB. Im simply saying is that he is not as bad as people make him out to seem. Lets face it. Mike Vick would have gotten a safety behind that Dallas line. Bledsoe snapped the ball and had about 1.3 seconds to make a decision. Any QB would have gotten sacked. Now lets look at the statue comment. Their are many other "statues" in this league that are/were very good ... but they have decent lines. Carson Palmer, Dan Marino, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning ... etc Heck even Tom Brady.
  21. That "backup" you talk about just so happens to be one of the best QB's of the past decade. QB rating means nothing. What was Kellys again? Barely in the 80's ?
